Book Particulate Emissions from Marine Diesel Engines

Download or read book Particulate Emissions from Marine Diesel Engines written by Seongho Jeong and published by . This book was released on 2023 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This research utilizes a diesel ship engine to analyze particulate matter (PM) emissions from diverse fuel types, from marine gas oil to heavy fuel oil with different fuel sulfur content, all adhering to current regulations. The study reveals that the cytotoxic, genotoxic, and mutagenic effects are more closely linked to its inherent properties than to fuel sulfur content. Additionally, installing abatement systems showed that using a scrubber alone does not significantly reduce PM emissions.eng
