A qualitative approach was used to find the main reasons for leaders in organizations not aligning culture to strategy, and to identify the skills and capabilities needed by leaders to align culture to strategy. The study was able to develop a model that will enable leaders to align an organizations culture to it strategy. This can be used to build further theory on this topic, and to assist leader in practice
