Paper 3: A summary of the results of the chemical study of carbonate rocks from several quarries in Northeast Iowa which produced carbonate aggregate for highway pavement concrete is presented.

This interdisciplinary research provides a deeper understanding of the physics of the full system through complex, coupled simulation approaches and progress in terms of improved and, therefore, more durable and sustainable structures.
