Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book, like others from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, explores the connection between physics research and electromagnetism. While gravitational effects are also discussed, much of the work focuses on electromagnetic effects. It is intriguing to ponder why this emphasis existed and whether physics has advanced in the right direction since that time. The book provides a glimpse into the scientific thinking of the past and raises questions about the evolution of scientific thought over time.

Book excerpt: It 's all illusion. Only two facts are absolutely true: there must exist SOMETHING and MOTION is granted.Only these two axioms are base for that aether-theorem: one unique real substance which is internally swinging.Multiple motion-pattern represent different appearances, from photon, electron and atom up to stars and galaxies, from physical fields and forces up to mental-spiritual items. There are no solid particles. Analogue to the sound, only the motion pattern are forwarded within the aether. There are no mass-attracting-forces, but e.g. the earthis passive drifting within an aether-whirlpool around sun.Clear evidence e.g. present the geostationary satellites, which contrary to physical laws are tumbling around. All is One - that age-old wisdom now is concrete reality: the homogenous aether gapless pervades the universe and allappearances are only movements within that unique medium. The motion pattern of many particles, forces and phenomenahere are explained logical convincing by these aether-physics.A quite new view of material and spiritual world comes up.

Book The Necessary Structure of the All pervading Aether

Download or read book The Necessary Structure of the All pervading Aether written by Peter Forrest and published by Walter de Gruyter. This book was released on 2013-05-02 with total page 230 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In this book I investigate the necessary structure of the aether – the stuff that fills the whole universe. Some of my conclusions are. 1. There is an enormous variety of structures that the aether might, for all we know, have. 2. Probably the aether is point-free. 3. In that case, it should be distinguished from Space-time, which is either a fiction or a construct. 4. Even if the aether has points, we should reject the orthodoxy that all regions are grounded in points by summation. 5. If the aether is point-free but not continuous, its most likely structure has extended atoms that are not simples. 6. Space-time is symmetric if and only if the aether is continuous. 7. If the aether is continuous, we should reject the standard interpretation of General Relativity, in which geometry determines gravity. 8. Contemporary physics undermines an objection to discrete aether based on scale invariance, but does not offer much positive support.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Throughout its long history, and not just as the key aesthetic category for the Romantic Movement, the sublime has created the necessary link between aesthetic and moral judgment, offering the prospect of transcending the limits of measurement, even imagination. The best of science makes genuine claims to the sublime. For in science, as in art, every day brings the entirely new, the extreme, and the unrepresentable. How does one depict negative mass, for example, or the folding of a protein that is contagious? Can one capture emergent phenomena as they emerge? Science is continually faced with describing that which is beyond. This book, through contributions from nine prominent scholars, tackles that challenge. The explorations within Beyond the Finite range from the images taken by the Hubble Telescope to David Bohm's quantum romanticism, from Kant and Burke to a "downward spiraling infinity" of the 21st century sublime, all lucid yet transcendent. Squarely positioned at the interface between science and art, this volume's chapters capture a remarkable variety of perspectives, with neuroscience, chemistry, astronomy, physics, film, painting and music discussed in relation to the sublime experience, topics surely to peak the interest of academics and students studying the sublime in various disciplines.

Download or read book Aether written by Bahram Esmailzadeh M. Sc. and published by Xlibris Corporation. This book was released on 2012-12-29 with total page 240 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: We have just begun to understand a few of the laws regulating this universe. Currently, we are aware of only some of its contents such as matter, anti-matter and energy, and are guessing about what the rest such as dark matter, dark energy and even vacuum energy may be. As it is demonstrated throughout this book, once the existence of aether is accepted and its effects are taken into account, many unresolved issues regarding past, present and even future of this universe can be explained and readily understood. Here, the author is providing consistent explanations for a variety of phenomena such as time, light, space, energy, matter, gravity, electric field, magnetic field, black holes, and even expansion of the universe which are shown to be interdependent.

Book Close Encounters of Art and Physics

Download or read book Close Encounters of Art and Physics written by Laura Pesce and published by Springer Nature. This book was released on 2019-09-30 with total page 138 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Close Encounters of Art and Physics is a voyage in time through the abstract ideas harboured in the minds of humans, starting from the graffiti art of cave dwellers and extending to the street art of contemporary men and women. In seeking parallels with science, the author looks far back to the first geometric ideas of our ancestors as well as ahead to the contemporary science of present-day physicists. The parallelism and analogies between these two fields bear witness to a real entanglement in the human brain. The second part of the book contains about 25 colour images showing the author's stunning glass artwork representing ideas such as dark matter, quantum entanglement, cellular automata and many others that are almost impossible to capture in words. Furthermore, many of the physicists who have themselves made major contributions in these fields provide their comments and analysis of the works. The book provides entertaining and informative reading, not only for practicing artists and physicists, but also anyone curious about art and physics.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A special edition of the “brilliant” best-selling classic on the paradoxes of modern physics and their relationship to concepts of Eastern mysticism (New York Magazine) The Tao of Physics brought the mystical implications of subatomic physics to popular consciousness for the very first time. Many books have been written in the ensuing years about the connections between quantum theory and the ideas of Buddhism, Hinduism, and Taoism, but Fritjof Capra’s text serves as the foundation on which the others have been built—and its wisdom has stood the test of time. Its publication in more than twenty-three languages stands as testimony to its universal applicability and its enduring significance. This special edition celebrates the thirty-fifth anniversary of this early Shambhala best seller that has gone on to become a true classic. It includes a fresh cover design and a new preface by the author reflecting on further discoveries and developments in the years since the book’s original publication. “Physicists do not need mysticism,” Dr. Capra says, “and mystics do not need physics, but humanity needs both.” It is a message of timeless importance.

Book excerpt: 'The Tao of Physics' is Fritjof Capra's classic exploration of the connections between Eastern mysticism and modern physics. An international bestseller, the book's central thesis, that the mystical traditions of the East constitute a coherent philosophical framework within which the most advanced Western theories of the physical world can be accommodated, has not only withstood the test of time but is ever more emphatically endoresed by ongoing experimentation and research. Fritjof Capra addresses recent scientific developments in this, the third edition, in the form of a chapter-length afterword on 'The Future of the New Physics'. 'The parallels are indeed most striking' SIR BERNARD LOVELL 'In the role of interpreter of the 'philosophy' of physics today, Dr Capra has few equals' JOHN GRIBBIN, 'TES'
