Be it enacted by the Governor and Legislative Coun cil of the Territory offlorida, That from and after the fifteenth day of December, one thousand eight hundred and twenty three, it shall not be lawful for any stone horse or ass to run at large within the Territory offlo rida, and ifany stone horse or ass shall be found run: ning at large, it shall and may be lawful for any person to take up the same.
