Download or read book Acharit Hayamim written by Erica Karas and published by WestBow Press. This book was released on 2012-10 with total page 116 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: One night in March 2012, the Ruach HaKodesh (the Holy Spirit) aroused me from sleep and told me to write a book about acharit-hayamim, which means end-times in Hebrew. I am a Messianic Jew. The Ruach HaKodesh has been leading me to scriptures about the acharit-hayamim for many months prior to giving me this message. As always, I did not question the Ruach HaKodesh. I must be obedient to the Holy One of Isra'el! Miraculously, I completed this book in three weeks with the guidance of the Ruach HaKodesh. The Ruach HaKodesh was with me the entire time. I give all praise and glory to the Holy One of Isra'el, who is the only true living G-d. Without the Holy One of Isra'el I can do nothing. I am just a worm of a vessel who will return to the dust of the ground. Hallelu-YAH!

Download or read book Converging Destinies written by Stuart Dauermann and published by Wipf and Stock Publishers. This book was released on 2017-03-14 with total page 308 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: While all have reason to celebrate the greening of Christian-Jewish relations since the Shoah and the promulgation of Nostra Aetate (4), few will deny that much work remains to be done by Christians and Jews seeking the best way forward that they might best serve God's purposes in the world, the mission of God. This book addresses that need by first surveying how each community has historically conceived of its own mission and from that stance assigned an identity to the other. The text illuminates how such construals have often impeded progress and therefore need to be upgraded and supplemented. But how shall this be done? Converging Destinies proposes an eschatological vision and practical suggestions to summon Jews and Christians to prepare for that day when each will be both commended and reproved by the judge of all, sounding a call for more determined action, greater humility, and cooperative effort as together Jews and Christians serve the mission of God, accountable to him for how they have served him and each other in the world that he has created according to his will.
Download or read book A History of Judaism and Christianity written by Donald Swenson and published by WestBow Press. This book was released on 2021-07-15 with total page 266 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book, pastoral in nature, is to provide the reader with an in-depth analysis of the challenging history of Judaism, Israel, and the Christian church. After offering an introduction to the First Testament (in Hebrew, Tanakh), the author proceeds to portray an image of Early Christianity or the Jesus Movement during the Apostolic Era to the beginning of the fourth century. During the early part of this era, there was a vibrant union between Jewish believers in Jesus (in Hebrew, Yeshua) and Gentile believers in Jesus. However, over these years, anti-Semitism grew within the Christian Church that resulted in a wound of division between the two segments of the Christian faith. This division resulted in anti-Semitic attitudes, discrimination, exiles and pogroms against the Jewish people, the nation of Israel. This lead, in part to one of the most tragic events in human history, the Holocaust or the Shoah. The author documents factors, both distal and proximate, of the tragedy. Beginning in the decade after WWII, the creation of the State of Israel in 1948 and, the Catholic Council called Vatican Council II, new hopes for repentance, reconciliation, and healing have begun between the Christian Church, Israel and Messianic Judaism. Sources to the work emerge from the theologies of Judaism, Christianity, and Messianic Judaism. The document is framed sociologically by using ideal types and historical sociological materials. The goal is for the Christian Church to remember, repent of her collective sins against the Jewish people and to journey towards reconciliation among Jews, Messianic Jews, and Christians.

Download or read book Dating God written by S. R. Anderson and published by Dorrance Publishing. This book was released on 2021-08-12 with total page 920 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Dating God: The Dates of the Most High By: S.R. Anderson Dating God: The Dates of the Most High discusses the final seven years prior to the return of Yeshua the Messiah. It takes its premise from the dates found in the Old Testament that are argued points to the days that lie ahead, the days of tribulation and the reign of antichrist. Obviously this is extremely relevant to the days all of us live in, from the onslaught of Covid-19, to the upcoming vaccine that will be forced upon all mankind, to the raging devastation of natural disasters, to the threat and waging continuous and constant war, all under the backdrop of the coming third temple in Jerusalem. The take on all these events that are unique to this book is the referencing to scripture that gives us exact dates of past events that paint a picture of future happenings. This is not another date-setting book with erroneous prophecies; this is a careful examination of the dates that Yahweh gives to us in his holy scriptures that quite possibly show us the timing of events that are even now coming upon this world. S. R.'s hope is that this work will open the eyes of a sleeping church, too long festered in the delusion that the events prophesied are of a time still too far distant to care about, or worse yet, that somehow believers will be whisked away by some fancied rapture that they will escape the tribulation that is even now at the door.

Download or read book Is God Done with America written by Eric Carlson and published by Morgan James Publishing. This book was released on 2011-03-24 with total page 152 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: From the founder of a messianic congregation: A powerful call to fulfill America’s destiny by breaking down the barriers between Jews and Gentiles. America, drifting away from God and in a grave moral crisis, stands at a major spiritual crossroads. The truth of how this nation was founded and what its founders believed is being suppressed. Is America a Christian nation? Were America's founders Christians? Does America have a prophetic destiny? If so, will America fulfill that destiny? These questions and more are answered by Rabbi Eric Carlson in Is God Done with America? Based upon the “One New Man” of Ephesians 2:15, America’s spiritual DNA was established through a prayer spoken by the founding colonists of the Jamestown Settlement in Virginia—the birthplace and spiritual root of America. A portion of this prayer, exactly as it was written and quoted from the book Lawes Divine, Morall and Martiall for the Colony of Virginea, printed in the year 1612, was spoken twice daily: “And call in the Jewes together with the fulnesse of the gentiles, that thy name may be glorious in al the world, the dayes of iniquity may come to an end, and we with all thine elect people may come to see thy face in glorie, and be filled with the light thereof for evermore.” This prayer not only reveals a portion of Americas prophetic destiny, it is key to the restoration of contemporary America’s dying church. Is God Done with America? contains critical information regarding Jewish revival, the restoration of signs and wonders to the body of Messiah, and the reconciliation of Messianic Jews and Christians into one unified body.
