This book was released on 2016-01-15 with total page 762 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Victim's Guide to Surviving the Narcissist/Sociopath Updated and its first position 300-plus page Pre-Book is a two books-in-one book designed to assist victims of covert spousal predators and their support persons understand the reality of the covert spousal predator (i.e. the narcissist, malignant narcissist, sociopath/psychopath, dual diagnosed/dual diagnosable, narcopath). This material delves into the worst case scenario possible for the spousal victim as well as common red flags, exploitation, strip-mining, predatory take-ALL agenda and abuse patterns perpetrated by the covert spousal predator in his/her hunting prime and afterward when the predator decompensates. Many valuable references are provided throughout this book for further education/research and understanding. Readers are strongly encouraged to continue their review of material created by all of the referenced educators and authors listed in this book. Moreover, the top mistakes made by victims, support persons for victims, professionals, law enforcement and others are detailed in the hopes that readers will avoid making as many of these errors as they face various scenarios with the predator or predators in their lives or in the lives of others they are attempting to assist. For spousal victims in the worst case scenario with an empowered/aided and abetted covert spousal predator (i.e. situations where common minor children are involved) this book covers topics typically not touched in the material of others. This book is not about overt spousal predators (i.e. abusers whose victims can effectively use the system and/or domestic violence shelter assistance to flee) though overt predators perpetrate many of the same abuse patterns minus the skill of becoming aided and abetted via abuse by proxy scams, which are commonly the mainstay of the covert predator's take-ALL agenda.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Digital forensics is the science of detecting evidence from digital media like a computer, smartphone, server, or network. It provides the forensic team with the most beneficial methods to solve confused digital-related cases. AI and blockchain can be applied to solve online predatory chat cases and photo forensics cases, provide network service evidence, custody of digital files in forensic medicine, and identify roots of data scavenging. The increased use of PCs and extensive use of internet access, have meant easy availability of hacking tools. Over the past two decades, improvements in the information technology landscape have made the collection, preservation, and analysis of digital evidence extremely important. The traditional tools for solving cybercrimes and preparing court cases are making investigations difficult. We can use AI and blockchain design frameworks to make the digital forensic process efficient and straightforward. AI features help determine the contents of a picture, detect spam email messages and recognize swatches of hard drives that could contain suspicious files. Blockchain-based lawful evidence management schemes can supervise the entire evidence flow of all of the court data. This book provides a wide-ranging overview of how AI and blockchain can be used to solve problems in digital forensics using advanced tools and applications available on the market.

Book Protecting Your Children From Sexual Predators

Download or read book Protecting Your Children From Sexual Predators written by Dr. Leigh Baker and published by St. Martin's Press. This book was released on 2002-04-17 with total page 288 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Predators are everywhere and they can strike at any time-- and they come in all shapes and sizes. More than 1.2 million families will report child sexual abuse by the end of this year. Research suggests that many hundreds of thousands more boys and girls from all backgrounds and of all ages may experience abuse that is not reported. To keep your family from becoming part of these frightening statistics, you must read this invaluable book. Protecting Your Children from Sexual Predators details everything you need to know and everything you need to do to keep your child safe. You will learn how to identify potential sexual predators, how to recognize the signs of the grooming behaviors that come before the actual act of sexual abuse, and how to arm your children with the necessary skills to prevent abuse. Sexual predators commit the most heinous acts against the more defenseless members of our society. They often are disguised as harmless and caring people; they may interact with your children as their baby-sitters, youth group leaders, clergy, teachers, coaches, neighbors, medical professionals, and family members. What these predators hold in common is their ability to earn the trust of both the children they attack and their parents. In Protecting Your Children from Sexual Predators, Dr. Leigh Baker gives you the unique opportunity to meet these predators up close and to examine: * The ten most common characteristics they display, such as refusal to take responsibility for their actions, sense of entitlement, and the need for power and control. * How they lead their victims through the five stages of sexual abuse. * The four types of personalities they commonly exhibit. * How female sexual predators can gain access to your child. * The ways that juveniles offend against other children. * How sexual predators travel the Internet and the many ways that they can harm your child through cyberspace. * How baby-sitting can pose a danger to your child if you don't take the necessary steps to ensure safety. * How to use the sex offender registry to prevent known predators from gaining access to your child. By allowing parents to identify sexual predators before their children are harmed, Dr. Baker takes the battle to end sexual abuse to the only front where it can ever truly be won: the home front.

Book Sexual Abuse Protection of Predators in the Ultra Orthodox Jewish Community

Download or read book Sexual Abuse Protection of Predators in the Ultra Orthodox Jewish Community written by Kalman Dubov and published by Kalman Dubov. This book was released on 2021-12-01 with total page pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The prevalence of sexual predation in the Orthodox Jewish community has traditionally been to not report to secular authorities. The pejorative term applied to one who violates this norm and informs authorities of pedophilia and criminally aberrant activity is 'mosur.' This term is applied with harsh denigration. From a Jewish legal point of view, the mosur is subject to the death penalty by any Jew, anywhere Jews reside and applies in an extra-judicial manner, without prior review by any Jewish authority, and is applicable today. Rabbinic legal authorities determine that the life of the predator, and by extension, of the community, takes precedence over the victim regardless of the cost to the victim. In such a setting, the victim has no recourse. If s/he goes forward to report the abuse, the mosur charge will apply. Maintaining silence means not being able to access health professionals to ameliorate the violations that occurred, and the predator is thereby free to abuse others and to do so with impunity. The origins of this legal framework stem from Jews living in the Diaspora and is not mandated Biblically. This framework, I contend, is based on considerations of survival so the predator is protected and the community remains safe from anti-Semitic governments. Survival was deemed the highest priority regardless of the individual costs present. The flashpoint of this scandal took place in Australia with the establishment of the Australian Royal Commission to receive testimony on abuse of institutionalized children. Initially, aberrant acts against minors by Roman Catholic Church prelates, both Diocesan and Order were examined. The Commission also heard of Chabad rabbis who implemented the mosur mindset, to not report crimes of sexual abuse in their schools, while minimizing the effect such abuse had on the victims. Two specific cases are discussed, one in the United States and the second in Australia. In both instances, the accused escaped justice by going to Israel. The Australian case became an international cause célèbre when the Melbourne Jewish school that had employed her paid for and arranged details of the flight. It was only after years of delay and legal maneuvering, including charges of interference by a senior cabinet member, that the accused was finally extradited to Australia, now awaiting her criminal trial. The case in the United States reflects a similar escape, with the accused now residing in Israel. How did the mosur phenomenon come about? The book proposes a theory of the Doctrine of Temporary Residence as the basis for the law. Based on a Diaspora mindset, that framework no longer applies since justice in the free world is fair, impartial, and not anti-Semitic. The prohibition of not turning over a Jewish predator for criminal prosecution therefore no longer has validity. The new and recent phenomenon where communal leaders seem to advocate greater care and concern for the victim of these crimes is a refreshing development.

This book was released on 2009-04-20 with total page 306 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Mortganomics teaches readers how to successfully negotiate the terms of a home mortgage with any bank, mortgage lender or broker. It provides detailed examples how lenders price their home loans and how they can subjectively increase a customer's interest rate to create larger commissions and loan costs. It includes samples of lender's rate sheets showing their wholesale costs for the individual interest rates, and explains how to make a lender guarantee that they will charge only their required minimum fees, and nothing extra that would increase force the borrower to take a higher interest rate. It gives readers a step-by-step verifiable method for paying off their mortgage years early, and an easy method to evaluate how competitive their interest rate and terms are in the marketplace. The book sugar coats nothing when it comes to exposing the ways lenders mark up their costs at a borrower's expense, and the ways that they hide important facts from their customers. This book provides dozens of easy to understand loan pricing calculations that readers can use to negotiate their loan terms and detect predatory lending practices.

Book Munchausen by Proxy and Other Factitious Abuse

Download or read book Munchausen by Proxy and Other Factitious Abuse written by Kathryn Artingstall and published by CRC Press. This book was released on 2016-09-19 with total page 458 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book covers Munchausen and Munchausen by Proxy (MBP) though the terms have recently changed. The 2013 DSM-V—the update to the American Psychiatric Association's (APA) diagnostic and classification tool—has classified both Munchausen and MBP as "Factitious Systematic Abuse." While thought to have occurred primarily with children and their caregivers, recent research shows a more widespread problem: such medical abuse to spouses, the disabled, the elderly—even pets. Many involve repeat and long-term instances of hospital and medical fraud. This book covers the syndrome itself, interviewing and investigative aspects, victimology, as well indicators in the event of homicide and death.
