Download or read book God s Children s Abc s written by Antoinette M. Bell and published by Xlibris Corporation. This book was released on 2014-01-29 with total page 70 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: While reading to Shaicah, when she was about two years of age (2006), it came to me that I should be pouring into her life every aspect: not just the entertaining part. She should grow up knowing that she is “fearfully and Wonderfully Made” (Psalms 139:14) and that there is a God and that He loves her. She should know that things around her didn’t accidentally happen: they were placed herby the All Knowing and The All Powerful God (Genesis Chapter 1). She needs to know that He loves her unconditionally, is ever present, ever faithful and that He has given angels charge over her (Matthew 4:6). I wanted her to know that she is never alone; she can always call the The Father through His Son, Jesus Christ. Although I knew what I wanted for her, I did nothing but sit and think about it, never actually doing anything to accomplish the task. In February of 2009, I signed up for the Life Changing Institute, Inc. “How to Get Unstuck” given at Hallelujah Christian Fellowship. Dr. Yvonne M. Bennett, professional clinical counselor was our instructor. We were taught how to eliminate procrastination, overcome self-doubt and the fear of failure. I learned how to focus, to set and accomplish small goals first. Each class member was assigned an encourager. I am so grateful for my encourager, Cathie Gore. I received my certificate of completion on April 25, 2009 and set my text to the U.S. Copyright Office on May 5, 2009. Thank you so much: Dr. Yvonne M. Bennett, Cathie Gore, my ‘sister’ and cover designer, Yolanda Jefferson, Ms. Pearlie M. Bulle, co-illustrator and my niece and ‘My Partner’ , Shaicah. “I Love You So Much!” Auntie

Download or read book The Abc s of Children s Sermons written by Melanie Barton and published by WestBow Press. This book was released on 2012-09 with total page 224 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Children's sermons are often inadequately prepared, understood maybe only by the adults, and leave the youth wanting something to which they can relate. Because children take what you say literally, the stories need to be brief, to the point, and use simple and age-appropriate words. Leaders need to get and stay on the children's eye level. This book will help you do that by offering a written sample story related to one of the week's lectionary passages. An accompanying auditory example is told on the CDs. Each lesson tells you what props are needed. The storyteller is encouraged to include some of their own personal walk with God to make the sermonettes come alive. These tools will prepare you to plan ahead to present a relevant, effective message that the boys and girls will not only learn from but will come back wanting to hear more.
Download or read book The ABC of Child Care Paperback Edition written by Ronald J Parker and published by Lulu.com. This book was released on 2014-04-26 with total page 372 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The author of this book has spent over thirty years working with children of all ages in a variety of settings including boarding schools and children's homes. He does not hold a degree in psychology or have letters after his name. He gained all his paper qualifications while he was doing the job. For those who think paper qualifications are required, the author does hold a certificate of qualification in social work but does not draw on this for the purposes of this book. The qualification he does have to write this book is experience. He has worked with difficult, maladjusted, those with learning difficulties, as well as so called 'normal' children. In this book, he attempts to pass on that experience to parents in a clear and straightforward manner without the jargon of psychology.
