Book The Order of Zion Classic Reprint

Download or read book The Order of Zion Classic Reprint written by John Zahnd and published by Forgotten Books. This book was released on 2018-01-21 with total page 96 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Excerpt from The Order of Zion In giving this book to the public I do so with no apology on my part. I feel that every individual has a right to ex press his own opinions and convictions and also feel that we owe it to each other to express our opinions publicly as well as in private for the benefit and the good that we can do to each other. I feel that there is a necessity for the honest hearted to combine in establishing an order of affairs in such a way that justice might be done to everyone. In the Order of Zion I believe it is the only possible chance to bring about the conditions which are longed and sought for by so many of God's people and while we see the great trend that is being made among the nations of the earth for common ownership of all things as far as public utilities are concerned, it is no new idea upon my part, but I am only seeking to help in the establishing of that order of things that will make us not only better qualified as citi zens of a nation, but that we might come nearer to the pur pose of Christ, our Lord, and prepare ourselves to the end when we may look for his return to claim his own. I trust that all those who may be interested, will seek to come together in unity of purpose, of action, and in this we will establish the Order of Zion. Book excerpt: Excerpt from The Daughters of Zion In the description of persons, there may seem to some an unwarranted license, or a lack of variety, especially to those who, in romance or reality, admire a blonde beauty, the soft, liquid, blue eye, flaxen hair, light complexion, tinged with a roseate hue. But it Will be remembered, that the Daughters of Zion belong to a peculiar race, whose features are characteristic, and do not, therefore, admit of any great scope for the play of the imagination, in the delineation of their personal appearance. Book excerpt: Excerpt from Through Abyssinia: An Envoy's Ride to the King of Zion "Negoosa Negust," or, "A Visit to the King of Zion," was the title which I originally determined on for this book; but, for cogent reasons urged by the publisher, I decided to discard so incomprehensible a name as "Negoosa Negust," and to substitute that which at present occupies my title-page. Now, I should like to explain that "Negoosa Negust" was not the name of a new sort of bitters. About the Publisher Forgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books. Book excerpt: Excerpt from Hill and City: Mount Zion Mount Zion is the golden key to all knowledge, the fountain of life and rest of the Church, around which all the Prophets clustered; and for an understanding, Divines should read the Index, and then the whole straight through from the beginning. Astronomers and scientists, straight through from the beginning, and the middle class two or three times over. There is a wonderful variety of minds in this class, and some of the very best. For light-minded persons, skeptics, and infidels, they can read the book of Armynea and the Prophets several years before reading this. Moreover, they can understand that the times have been fulfilled as foreshown by the first book, or text-book, counting from Luther to a day, the greatest of all Bible mysteries, to the year seventy-one, and the beginning of the second wine-press, and all of that which is mighty, in which even the wicked are invited to buy, sell, and preach the truth against that old bird, Popery, and all the isms that live. "The creation of the world is too wonderful to believe," ye say; wherefore, then, should I write it otherwise than its great force, when lo, and Behold, out of it came a law, and out of the law Mount Zion, which separates the old world from the great future, and the living from the dead and their plagues, all of, and in which, I stand alone. This cannot be read like o her books, by simply turning the leaves over, as it continually embodies new forms of knowledge, all founded on a system of absolute laws by which are all things and all being, and takes great penetration of mind to read it. Since this book was written the world is being filled with philosophers of Divinity. The wide field of great wonders furnish authors with texts to mix the world up, which I never sent. There can be but one true philosopher of Divinity, since no man living could write the Little Book, 10th chapter of Revelations.
