Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Excerpt from Your Crop-Share-Cash Farm Lease Most landlords and tenants do not want their leases to create a partnership relation. They may have many reasons for this but one is overriding. They do not want to be responsible for the acts of the other party, as they would be in a partnership. If you wish a partnership, get a lawyer to draft a partnership agreement. It differs from a lease. This provision will be ineffective in its purpose if the two parties operate as do partners and not like landlord and tenant. Be sure that the way you carry out your business transactions will help to make this provision effective. Book Farm Contracts Between Landlord and Tenant Classic Reprint

Download or read book Farm Contracts Between Landlord and Tenant Classic Reprint written by W. C. Tichenor and published by Forgotten Books. This book was released on 2017-10-24 with total page 264 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Excerpt from Farm Contracts Between Landlord and Tenant From such conditions and by such methods of leasing farms it is not strange that confusion, disagreement, trouble and quite often law suits arise. Every year in agricultural sections the court dockets are crowded with cases between landlord and tenant, most of which might have been avoided by the use of carefully prepared contracts making clear the covenants be tween the parties. The expense of such leases is not great and it is a very doubtful economy not to secure them because iof the slight cost. Even by the best system of leasing farms the relation of landlord and tenant is one easily strained. There are so many kinds of work to be done on a farm, so many ways of doing it, the methods are changing so rapidly, that opportunities for differences of opinion are constantly being presented. Farmers as a class are very independent. Their life and labor have made them so. The farmer has learned to rely upon himself. He has by habit acquired his own way of doing things and he is inclined to resent suggestion as being dictated to. Book Lease Contracts Used in Renting Farms on Shares

Download or read book Lease Contracts Used in Renting Farms on Shares written by Earley Vernon Wilcox and published by Forgotten Books. This book was released on 2018-03 with total page 40 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Excerpt from Lease Contracts Used in Renting Farms on Shares: A Study of the Distribution of Investments, Expenses, and Income Between Landlord and Tenant In many cases the chief crop areas of the farm are rented on shares, while the tenant pays cash for the farmstead, pasture, hay land, corn land, or some other specified area. This method of leas ing is commonly called the share-cash system. Lease forms - Printed lease forms seem to be of little avail except on large estates where the whole system has been thoroughly worked out by the manager, and where a uniform set of conditions is pre scribed for all tenants on the estate. For the most part, however, printed lease forms contain only generalities. Usually it is neces sary for landlord and tenant to agree by consultation on the features of the contract and then write a lease embodying these stipulations. Very often no written contract is made, the agreement being merely verbal. A written lease is more satisfactory, however, especially in the event of some subsequent disagreement or misunderstanding. Book California Farm Tenancy and Methods of Leasing Classic Reprint

Download or read book California Farm Tenancy and Methods of Leasing Classic Reprint written by Richard Laban Adams and published by Forgotten Books. This book was released on 2017-11-11 with total page 54 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Excerpt from California Farm Tenancy and Methods of Leasing Tenancy relieves owners who are engaged primarily in other busi nesses and who are disinclined to give the time and attention required to direct farming operations. It provides a means of utilizing lands while being held for higher prices or until the time is opportune for subdividing and selling, or which are being retained for ultimate uses other than farming, such as power sites, mineral claims, or forest plantings. Tenancy is commonly utilized in connection with lands included in estates pending final court decrees permitting distribution, and lands inherited by Women and children. Tenancy provides a way to greater freedom for men who desire to farm for themselves but who do not possess sufficient capital to purchase. It is a means, also, by which beginners in agriculture and new-comers to California may test their abilities prior to actual purchase. Yet it is possible that tenancy may increase to such an extent as to become a social and economic menace. This book was released on 2018-03-08 with total page 136 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Excerpt from Our Farm of Four Acres, and the Money We Made by It This little volume will possess rare interest for all who own a four-acre farm, or, indeed, a farm of any number of acres. Its chief value to the American reader does not consist in its details of practice, but in the enunciation and demonstration of certain prin ciples of domestic economy of universal application. The practice of terra-culture must be varied to meet the different conditions of soil and climate under which it is pursued but sound general principles hold good everywhere, and only need the exercise of ordinary judgment and common sense for their application to our own wants. This is now better understood than heretofore, and hence we are better prepared to profit by draughts from the, fount of universal knowledge. We would not be understood as intimating, however, that only the, general principles set forth in this little book are of value to us; the details of making but ter and bread, feeding stock, etc., are just as useful to us as to the English r'eader. The'two chapters on making butter and bread are admirable in their way. About the Publisher Forgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books. Book My Little Farm Classic Reprint

Download or read book My Little Farm Classic Reprint written by Patrick D. Kenny and published by Forgotten Books. This book was released on 2018-02-03 with total page 256 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Excerpt from My Little Farm This is less a handbook in scientific agriculture than a headbook in profitable farming, but it is for both, and for the cultivation of character as essential to cropping. The profit is no longer possible without the science, but the science must either show the profit or remain under suspicion. The expert, working at the Government's ex pense, can do anything with a plot of half a rood, so long as he is not asked to balance the product against the cost, but the practical farmer wants to see the net profit on a working scale, and he is right, because the final measure of science in all industrial application is the economic value. No other standard can be safely admitted into industrial practice. About the Publisher Forgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books.
