Download or read book Men Have Feelings Too written by Clyne Ever and published by iUniverse. This book was released on 2019-03-15 with total page 36 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: What is it about men that makes society—as seen in books, magazines, and movies and on television—think they can be neglected, forgotten, or dismissed? Women have their support groups and their girlfriends, while men either can’t commit to groups or can’t even admit they need help at all. What about their feelings? Men Have Feelings Too! shares author Clyne Ever’s observations from a lifetime of being in difficult relationships, and he explains how to break free from the pain of abandonment and tough marital relationships. He hopes other men with childhood issues or who are in tough relationships will know there is more help now than ever and that they can emerge from the pain and move on. There are also compelling messages for women, some of whom support these men and others who have been the cause of pain; these messages can help the women in these men’s lives support them better. The message for all is that men have feelings too and that they need the support of groups, therapists, spiritual leaders, family, friends, partners, and others. In this way, men can heal and emerge whole once again.
Download or read book Daniels Plays 2 written by Sarah Daniels and published by A&C Black. This book was released on 2013-12-17 with total page 351 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Sarah Daniels is "a writer with a natural talent for disturbance" (Observer) Set in the gutting sheds of the slaughterhouse at the Cattle Market in late Victorian Deptford, The Gut Girls shows how the lives of the girls are changed when their work is made illegal - "Regarded as little better than whores by their contemporaries the gut girls are...a boisterous, beer-swilling, strong-minded bunch, handy with a knife both in the gutting shed and outside it, defiantly independent in attitude and scornful of the illusion of male supremacy." Malcolm Hay (Time Out). Beside Herself is the first of three plays in this volume that deal with women and madness - "a dramatic analogue of a contemporary social tragedy which exists on a scale we are only just beginning to comprehend" (Observer); Head-Rot Holiday commissioned by Clean Break theatre company for ex-offenders, portrays the fate of women detained in special hospitals, a euphemism for an institution for the "criminally insane" - "There is a fine, hard humour, as well as compassion, in the way Head-Rot Holdiay examines the contradictions entangling these women's lives"; The Madness of Esmé and Shaz is "A weird and wondrous black comedy." (Spectator)
Download or read book One Got Past the Keeper written by Fertile FC and published by Hachette Australia. This book was released on 2011-07-26 with total page 154 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The men of Fertile FC, a six-a-side football team, came together to get fit, played for fun and then stayed up far too late after every game having a good time. But before they had the chance to kick a ball for their second season, they'd all, bar one, scored a goal of a different kind. They'd become expectant fathers and were looking at entirely new goals of responsibility and commitment. Jim, Yari, Ross, Rick, Neil and Nick tell of their journeys into fatherhood - how they dealt with the good bits (more sex before pregnancy); the bad bits (less sex after pregancy); the sticky bits (the birth); and finally bringing home the trophy - a shiny new baby. These men aren't experts at childbirth (or football) but their stories will appeal to new fathers (and mothers) as they prepare the game of their lives.

Since then, he’s never bothered to play fair. He’ll beat a suspect, even throw him down a flight of stairs—anything to get another piece of garbage off the streets of his city. But something’s coming to Middleburg that will shock the callous cop to his very core. When a string of kinky killings baffles the local police department, Lark is drawn into the darkest part of the city’s underworld—where love means nothing, and a woman’s life isn’t worth the clothes on her back. Download or read book Into and Out of the Spin written by Harry M. Anderson and published by FriesenPress. This book was released on with total page 375 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The tall sculpture on the front cover of this book was created from an striking experience the author had in the late 1970s when looking at the news on the TV. In the course of approximately four seconds, a tall young German boy - absent of mind, aimless and sad - wandered across the screen and left the analyst artist in a powerful, shocked, puzzled state. He was in the midst of what became a failed ’69-‘79 training analysis, and during it, he developed an original, real-scientific method that, from ’80 to ’90: dismantled late-child symptoms in self; went to the causal roots of several art forms and ended them; re-stirred the memory of that boy; and led to the carving. He continued in that art form for some years until continued self-analytic studies went to absolute symptom roots and endings. And in September, 2018, the little fellow on the left opened his unconscious experiences to complete physical display in days. Then the analyst’s still-operative Self analytic research dismantled any further dangers that the Symptom Self had had to share (in disconnected, heavily secreted pieces), as it systematically moved to its real, and thoroughly-finished end on Nov. 4, 2019.
