Download or read book Yoga Sadhana of the Mother of the Universe written by Darshan Baba and published by CreateSpace. This book was released on 2011-11-28 with total page 100 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: -a Guide to Wholeness Through the Divine Feminine "Liberation, wealth, health, and all the enjoyments that life as well as transcendence have to offer; all of these can certainly be achieved through the Grace of the Great Mother. She is Shakti, pure Power or Energy." Often the Divine Feminine has been overlooked or forgotten in the world of religions and spirituality during this last age, which seemed to have a patriarchal dominant society. To overlook the principle of the Divine Feminine in a serious practice and path of sadhana for the ultimate goal of Self-Realization, would be ridiculous. She - the Divine Feminine is the form of all Energy and Power, where-ever there has been a great form of the Divine Masculine He would be nothing with out His Shakti - literally energy, power, and ability. * This book is a Teaching and Empowerment in the great Yoga Sadhana of the Mother Energy. Through merging with Her infinite power and ability, all can be achieved... This book was first hand-written in part while the author was on retreat in India practicing Sadhana and Tapasya. During this time the presence of the Energy Which is and grants the Supreme Knowledge of Moksha made itself known and increased with strength bringing profound blissful states of awareness. Even more profound was a practical instruction for going beyond the limits of perception to witness the Truth and Knowledge of the Self which is Moksha - or Ultimate Freedom. This book is the Intent to share the Blessings of that Supreme Shakti-Energy, empowered directly with the Energy as it was written (in-part) in that concentrated place of Her Presence known as Haidakhan.

Book excerpt: In India there are Yogis who perform such marvelous feats that Doctors, Scientists and Chemists are unable to solve them, and I may say, are unable to understand them. For instance, such feats, as lying down upon blazing logs of fire; walking over red hot fire that has been especially prepared by burning ten tons of wood,—twenty men walked over this without a burn—not even a hair on their feet; also feats of levitation, walking on water, etc., equally as astonishing. I have received many letters asking: "How can that be done?" The answer is, they always do this through the Kundalini (The Divine Mother) by awakening her from her sleep, for then any one can have supernatural power—this is her gift with unfoldment.

Book A Yoga Teachers manual of Pranayama

Download or read book A Yoga Teachers manual of Pranayama written by Srikanth s and published by Srikanth s. This book was released on with total page 178 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Prana is the universal principle of energy or force. It is a vital, all pervading force. It may be either in a static or dynamic state. It is found in all forms, from the highest to the lowest, from the ant to the elephant, from the unicellular amoeba to man, from the elementary form of plant life to the developed of animal life. Prana is force on every plane of being, from the highest to the lowest. Whatever moves or works or has life is but an expression or manifestation of Prana. It is Prana that shines in your eyes. It is through the power of Prana that the ears hear, the eyes see, the skin feels, the tongue tastes, the nose smells and the brain and the intellect perform their functions. The smile of a young lady, the melody in music, the power in the emphatic words of an orator, the charm in the speech of one’s beloved, are all due to Prana. Fire burns and the wind blows through Prana. Rivers flow and planes move in the air through Prana. The steam engines work and trains and cars move through Prana. Radio waves travel through Prana. Prana is electron, force, magnetism and electricity. It is Prana that pumps the blood from the heart to the arteries or blood vessels. Prana does digestion, excretion and secretion. It is expended in thinking, willing, acting, moving, talking and writing. A healthy, strong man has an abundance of Prana or nerve-force or vitality. It is supplied by food, water, air, solar energy, etc. The supply of Prana is taken up by the nervous system. It is absorbed in the process of breathing. The excess is stored in the brain and nerve centers. When the seminal energy is sublimated or transformed, it supplies an abundance of Prana to the system. It is stored up in the brain in the form of spiritual energy.

Book The Authority of Female Speech in Indian Goddess Traditions

Download or read book The Authority of Female Speech in Indian Goddess Traditions written by Anway Mukhopadhyay and published by Springer Nature. This book was released on 2020-08-27 with total page 171 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Contemporary debates on “mansplaining” foreground the authority enjoyed by male speech, and highlight the way it projects listening as the responsibility of the dominated, and speech as the privilege of the dominant. What mansplaining denies systematically is the right of women to speak and be heard as much as men. This book excavates numerous instances of the authority of female speech from Indian goddess traditions and relates them to the contemporary gender debates, especially to the issues of mansplaining and womansplaining. These traditions present a paradigm of female speech that compels its male audience to reframe the configurations of “masculinity.” This tradition of authoritative female speech forms a continuum, even though there are many points of disjuncture as well as conjuncture between the Vedic, Upanishadic, puranic, and tantric figurations of the Goddess as an authoritative speaker. The book underlines the Goddess’s role as the spiritual mentor of her devotee, exemplified in the Devi Gitas, and re-situates the female gurus in Hinduism within the traditions that find in Devi’s speech ultimate spiritual authority. Moreover, it explores whether the figure of Devi as Womansplainer can encourage a more dialogic structure of gender relations in today’s world where female voices are still often undervalued.
