Download or read book Queer Companions written by Omar Kasmani and published by Duke University Press. This book was released on 2022-03-23 with total page 128 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In Queer Companions Omar Kasmani theorizes saintly intimacy and the construction of queer social relations at Pakistan’s most important site of Sufi pilgrimage. Conjoining queer theory and the anthropology of Islam, Kasmani outlines the felt and enfleshed ways in which saintly affections bind individuals, society, and the state in Pakistan through a public architecture of intimacy. Islamic saints become lovers and queer companions just as a religious universe is made valuable to critical and queer forms of thinking. Focusing on the lives of ascetics known as fakirs in Pakistan, Kasmani shows how the affective bonds with the place’s patron saint, a thirteenth-century antinomian mystic, foster unstraight modes of living in the present. In a national context where religious shrines are entangled in the state’s infrastructures of governance, coming close to saints further entails a drawing near to more-than-official histories and public forms of affect. Through various fakir life stories, Kasmani contends that this intimacy offers a form of queer world making with saints.

Download or read book The Wrath of the Lamb written by Stanley O. Lotegeluaki and published by AuthorHouse. This book was released on 2012-05-04 with total page 212 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: SATAN AND HIS DEMONS THOUGHT THEY COULD DEFEAT GOD. WHEN THEY REBELLED AGAINST GOD, THEY NEVER KNEW THAT THEY WOULD END UP BEING BURNED ALIVE FOR 40 BILLION YEARS, THEN BURNED ALIVE IN THE LAKE OF FIRE FOREVER. SERVES THEM RIGHT FOR REFUSING GODS LOVE. JESUS CHRIST IS REALLY ALMIGHTY GOD, MIGHTY IN BATTLE. THE WRATH OF THE LAMB IS POURED OUT ON SATAN, HIS ANGELS AND 2.3 BILLION PEOPLE +/-. OR 1/3 OF THE EARTHS POPULATION. DURING THE SECOND COMING EVENT SATAN AND HIS DEMONS AND ANTICHRIST WILL BE THROWN INTO THE BOTTOMLESS PIT FOR BILLIONS OF YEARS, THEN THEY WILL BE TAKEN OUT FOR WWIII WHERE THE ANTCHRIST ANGEL WILL POSSES A DEADMANS BODY AND COME TO LIFE LIKE JESUS TO BE WORSHIPPED. "MATHEW CHPT 24 IS A CONDITIONAL CHPT. IT DEPENDED ON THE "CARCASE" TO HAPPEN. THE CARCASE OF MT. 24:28 AND JESUS DECIDED THAT WWIII SHOULD OCCUR AFTER THE SECOND COMING, AFTER THE 1000 YR REIGN OF JESUS OR 40 BILLION YEARS FROM NOW. BUT JESUS THE KING OF PEACE WILL RETURN IN PEACE AT THE SECOND COMING, IN MY LIFETIME. MATHEW 24:21 WAR IS BROKEN BY MATHEW 24:28. READ MY OTHER BOOKS. Matthew 24:28:"For wheresoever the Carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together" The Eagles are Jesus and satan. They hover over a Carcase- a born again Christian who has died or crucified his flesh in the cross of Jesus ( Gospel of Paul in Romans). Every born again Christian is a Carcase, but this special individual was to welcome Christ. And the happenings of Mt 24 depended on his decisions and Christs decisions.(1.) Jesus deleted the war of the Second Coming and the Carcase agreed. Thats why there is no war before the Second Coming- it will be in 40 billion years. Second reason why WWIII is not now is. (2.)The sand of the sea in Revelation chpt 13:1 is time. Each grain is a year. How many grains on the seashore? Billions- so WWIII is billions of years away-(3.) Third reason. The universe will begin to implode in 40 billion yrs. The core of the imploding universe is called The Lake of fire.(II PETER 3:7) The Lake of fire existed during that time for the false prophet to be thrown in it. They co-existed. The only time WWIII can happen is when the Lake of fire existed. That can only happen in Blueshift- when this finite universe of ours is collapsing, around 40 billion A.D. . False prophet and Lake of fire- co-existed. So WWIII is 40 billion +/- years from now becuase it was fought when the Lake of fire existed and the false prophet existed. They co-existed. So there will be no war in our times. Thats why Jesus inserted Mt 24:28. but some Bibles say vultures and other strange stuff. Dont tamper with the Bible. THE REASON FOR ALL THE WILD WEATHER IN 2000+/-A.D IS BECAUSE JESUS CHRIST IS RETURNING SOON FOR THE SECOND COMING IS IN OUR GENERATION! ISAIAH 29: 6. Thou shalt be visited of the Lord of hosts with thunder, and with earthquake, and great noise, with storm and tempest, and the flame of devouring fire.

Download or read book The Winepress of God s Wrath written by Steve A. Hamilton and published by Page Publishing Inc. This book was released on 2021-06-29 with total page 231 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Without exception, this is the most revealing commentary of the book of Revelation in decades! This fresh and historically researched commentary reveals what early Christians had known so many years ago about the apocalypse. After 1,900 years, present-day Christians finally have a reliable document that explains Christ’s prophetic book. This commentary contains amazing insights. One of the main adversaries in the book of Revelation was a prominent historical figure. He was known as the savior of the church. People looked up to him and worshipped him. The apostle Paul called him the man of sin and the son of perdition (2 Thessalonians 2:3). The apostle John, in one of his earlier writings, called him the Antichrist (1 John 2:18). Those who failed to get their names written in the Book of Life marveled at his presence in eternal punishment (Revelation 17:8). That person is identified by name in this commentary. Armageddon is more than a great battle in the book of Revelation. It is the one defining event that will affect everyone’s life. The number of combatants “is as the sand of the sea.” Yet the battle will be over before it ever begins (Revelation 20:8–9). The bowls of God’s wrath were poured out on a wicked and unsuspecting world. Historically, “a foul and loathsome sore came upon the men who had the mark of the beast and those who worshipped his image” (Revelation 16:2). This plague was described in detail by writers who lived as it occurred. This commentary includes their firsthand accounts. The Winepress of God’s Wrath depicts God’s anger at a wicked society while providing hope and comfort to believers. The theme in the book of Revelation is clear—the wicked will not escape destruction. Only obedient Christians will avoid the winepress of God’s wrath.

Now, as the Realms teeter on the brink of war, the fate of humanity rests in the survival of one majestic white dragon. Prince Jehal has had his way-now his lover Zafir sits atop the Realms with hundreds of dragons and their riders at her beck and call. But Jehal's plots are far from over, for he isn't content to sit back and watch Zafir command the earth and sky. He wants that glory for himself- no matter who he must sacrifice to get it. The one thing Jehal fears is that the white dragon still lives-and if that is so, then blood will flow, on all sides...
