Book excerpt: MIND OVER BIPOLARUnleash The Genius Within YouHello, my name is James M. Bolin. I am a self-made businessman, online marketer, entrepreneur, and a new thought author.I have decided to write this book because I, like several millions of people in the United States and worldwide live with bipolar disorder, including bipolar 1, which is the most common and most serious and bipolar 2 and depression as well. Whenever I mention a bipolar disorder throughout the book, I am including both forms of bipolar as well as depression. In my view, if you have bipolar disorder, assume you have depression. I have never met anyone with bipolar that didn't suffer from depression. However, let's face it. We, those who have been labeled with bipolar disorder are causing a lot of buzz within the press. There are so many myths behind this disease that it gives us a bad rap.Hence, many people believe that if you have bipolar disorder that you are a dysfunctional person and that you are incapable of being a successful, happy and a productive spirit. They think that we are crazy. Not everyone with bipolar disorder, depression is incapable of living a productive and happy life. And surely not everyone with bipolar is a risk to society. This belief couldn't be further from the truth. In fact, I attribute much of my entrepreneurial success to my bipolar disorder and depression. I will discuss this later in the book.Furthermore, many people with bipolar disorder tend to be very intelligent, creative, and actually experience higher than average IQ's.Did you know that throughout history some of the world's most successful people and some of the world's most brilliant minds have bipolar disorder? I like to refer to these people, including myself and you my valued reader as being a member of what I have coined the "Bipolar Club."Famous people within the Bipolar Club include; Winston Churchill, Abraham Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, Ludwig Beethoven, Ernest Hemingway, Vincent Van Gogh, Virginia Woolf, Richard Dreyfuss, Thomas Jefferson, Steve Jobs, Estée Lauder, and Charles Lindbergh and possibly Donald Trump just to mention a few.I have written this book for the purpose of helping you unleash the genius within you thus creating a mental super-power.Thus, many people with bipolar disorder may not recognize it, but they may experience an inner genius or an inner talent just waiting to be tapped into.Let's face it, where would we be today without the contributions that so many of these historical images have reached through world history. Hundreds and possibly thousands of bipolar individuals have used their inner genius and creativity to shape and change our world weather knowingly or unknowingly.Perhaps you too may be the next Beethoven or the next Steve Jobs. This is why I have written this book. My goal is to inspire and motivate you to untap the superpower of your inner genius that you very possibly already possess. If you don not naturally poses some form of a superpower meaning some form of a supernatural talent that you may have been boarded by then I want, you learn how to prepare your own natural super power. Trust me when I say, if you have bipolar disorder, including bipolar depression, then the odds are very good that you are highly gifted somehow.Just because you have bipolar disorder and or depression doesn't mean you cannot be a successful person and live an amazing life. And it doesn't entail that you too can't contribute something amazing to the world just like the Steve Job's, and the Hemingway's of the universe. You bear an inner "Super Power." The only difference is that you just need to discover whatever inner genius, and mental super power that you have stored inside of you.My guarantee to you is that no matter how much you scour the internet or the bookstores, you will not find another book like this.
