Book excerpt: Presumed lost in the years since William Henry Paynter's death 40 years ago, this book is the first publication of Paynter's manuscript work on Cornish Witchcraft and folk magic. In the inter war years of the 1920s and '30s Paynter set about recording witch narratives and folklore in Cornwall and Devon, capturing stories and narratives of witchcraft and witch beliefs before they vanished as the 'old folks' died. Paynter was unable to find a publisher for his manuscript in 1939, and the papers were not among his archive when he died in 1976. The manuscript of Paynter's Cornish Witchcraft was recovered in 2009 and became available for study. In publishing this edition, Paynter's rich store of witch stories and folk beliefs becomes widely available for the first time.

This book is all that is the required of a Witchling. The Craft is not just about Spells or Magic as this is taught later, it is about Nature, listening and learning from the spirits of Nature, spirituality of the Divine Feminine and becoming one with the magic and mystery within our world and beyond. This book covers every topic needed to understand the full extent of what is within the world of the magic of Wicca in theory and practice. Since the birth of the internet in the 80s, less and less working covens remain to teach our Seekers the deeper insight and wisdom. Download or read book Encyclopedia of the Divine Feminine written by Tamara Von Forslun and published by Xlibris Corporation. This book was released on 2021-05-26 with total page 390 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: No matter what land, culture, country or faith, the Goddess is alive and well and attracting not only women to Her many paths and Her Mysteries but also men who have realised and awakened the feminine within and without as needed in this time of great uncertainty. It is time not to suppress the feminine, but Empower Her, so the world can see the true beauty in everything that She stands for and represents. She is not separate from the world, She is the world, and everything has a little light of the Goddess within them if they only take off their blinkers and let Her shine forth. Let us all now honour the Great Mother and in this great hour of need for a Mother, let us honour all Mothers throughout women’s forgotten past and listen to Her-story not his-story. It is the Patriarchal religions of the world that have created a world of uncertainty, imbalance, and fear. Let us NOW through the Divine Feminine remove the imbalance of the patriarchal warring world and assist our own community in EMPOWERING women and men to awaken to a world of harmony, peace and equilibrium, The Golden Age of Harmony and Equilibrium is NOW!. Let us as a sisterhood, daughters, nieces, sisters, mothers, grandmothers and all women and men under the Light of the Goddess in all Her cultures, names, and differences awaken Her to our world, and through us let Her shine. In honouring the Great Mother we shall spread Her love and honour all Mothers, all women of every faith, culture, and path. “May The Goddess hold you gently in the palms of Her hands, And always close to Her heart!” Lady Tamara Von Forslun Elder High Priestess of the Clan of Boskednan – Tribe of the Crow

Book The Witches Coven

Download or read book The Witches Coven written by Tamara Von Forslun and published by Balboa Press. This book was released on 2018-10-08 with total page 480 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Witchcraft is far more than just spellcraft and celebrations. It is about honouring the ancient tradition and all the witch tools and fellowship that kept the tradition alive through the burning times before it was reawakened in the twentieth century. The Witches’ Coven will help you discover the secrets, the origins, and the symbolism behind every tool of the witch. Each tool has a magickal purpose as a key within our magick circle, which is the temple of the Goddess and the God of Nature. Each tool is also a sacred key to a specific magickal power that acts as a conduit for either electrical, magnetic, electromagnetic, or alchemical change with one’s will. Many modern witches are not aware of these ancient tools, which are as important today as they were thousands of years ago, both for solitary witches and for full working covens. The coven fellowship is a committed working spiritual family and is more important now in the twenty-first century than it was in the past, since we need the fellowship of a spiritual and magickal family to commit to a way of life that is as ancient as life itself. In The Witches’ Coven, you can work with the tools and enjoy the activities of fellowship, becoming one with the Goddess and God and all of Nature.

Book Encyclopaedia of the the Divine Masculine God of 10 000 Names

Download or read book Encyclopaedia of the the Divine Masculine God of 10 000 Names written by Tamara Von Forslun and published by Xlibris Corporation. This book was released on 2021-11-18 with total page 421 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The idea of religion has been around since the beginning of mankind, when man saw something bigger and grander than themselves. They saw an immense building block of creation and re-creation in all aspects of nature. It was the ancient Shamans that created the first structures that we call religion. But these were set upon rules and laws of Nature based on birth, life, fertility, truth, faith, magic, death, love, and rebirth. From this the Divine was born with the images of their surroundings, and above these images were the Divine Masculine and the Divine Feminine, and these great Ancient Beings spoke to the Shamans (the Priests of Old) and guided their footsteps who in turn guided their community. The reality is that now man has created a myriad of gods in each and every country, culture and community, and through time these spiritual Shamans have shared their truth with all of mankind upon their many travels, and so religion spread, and the names of their deities also spread to create the diversity all over the world, where instead of a god being known just to a set area and community that he has now been shared and adopted all over the world by those who were searching, and believe they found their fit. The reality is that God is! Deity has always been about bringing likeminded people together without judgement, segregation, and distrust. It is about tolerance, acceptance, faith, trust, love, peace, harmony, truth, and the bigger picture of Divine Oneness. This book features thousands of gods from every land, culture and belief system that were needed to bring man into the 21st Century. Do we still need thousands of deities? That can only be answered by yourself when you find your god or goddess. Please delve into the history and variations of deities as they take you back into the past of your ancestors and hopefully bring you closer to yourself, your Truth, and that spiritual connection to your god in the 21st century, no matter what name he is known.

Book Literary Allusion in Harry Potter

Download or read book Literary Allusion in Harry Potter written by Beatrice Groves and published by Taylor & Francis. This book was released on 2017-06-14 with total page 197 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Literary Allusion in Harry Potter builds on the world-wide enthusiasm for J. K. Rowling’s series in order to introduce its readers to some of the great works of literature on which Rowling draws. Harry Potter’s narrative techniques are rooted in the western literary tradition and its allusiveness provides insight into Rowling’s fictional world. Each chapter of Literary Allusion in Harry Potter consists of an in-depth discussion of the intersection between Harry Potter and a canonical literary work, such as the plays of Shakespeare, the poetry of Homer, Ovid, the Gawain-poet, Chaucer, Milton and Tennyson, and the novels of Austen, Hardy and Dickens. This approach aims to transform the reader’s understanding of Rowling’s literary achievement as well as to encourage the discovery of works with which they may be less familiar. The aim of this book is to delight Potter fans with a new perspective on their favourite books while harnessing that enthusiasm to increase their wider appreciation of literature.
