Book Wine Me Dine Me Dance Me Romance Me

Download or read book Wine Me Dine Me Dance Me Romance Me written by Gene Hewett Ph.D. and published by Author House. This book was released on 2002-10-01 with total page 192 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Wine Me, Dine Me, Dance Me, Romance Me, reads like an evolving collage of romantic experiences framed in poetic style. In many ways, the collection represents an autobiographical sketch in romance. It begins by providing snapshots of the authors early relationships, evolves to romantic accounts as viewed through the eyes of a fictional son, and concludes with romantic descriptions provided by that sons daughter. The collection has a traditional table of contents, a second one titled, Musical Inspiration, and a third titled, Photographic Images. The second table of contents illustrates the authors desire to match specific majority rhythm and blues songs such as Aint No Way, to each poem. In the short run, the author envisions that the collection will be made available (a) in electronic form, (b) as a paperback, and (c) for hardcover distribution. In addition, owing to the musical theme, the author anticipates that the collection can be presented in audio book form. In the long run, the author anticipates that it may be possible to package the collection in a stage production format (complete with a speaker, background music, and Power Point imageswith optional dance choreography). The third table of contents shows the authors ability to enhance the spirit and mood of each poem by linking them to a digital image obtained from the corbisimage.com website. The majority of the digital images were based upon floral themes such as Close-Up View of a Pink Rose, and landscape themes such as Wildflowers at Malibu Beach. Several digital image selections such as Glass of Wine with Cork and Rosebuds, departed from the floral/landscape pattern in order to further highlight a unique mood.

Book excerpt: Reflecting upon what at times appeared to be the hundred-yard dash of life, I realize I have stood on the shoulders of great visionaries. Many of them were aware of the promise of my potential and the pitfalls that lay before me. They had a sincere appreciation of my desire to persevere and my passion for medicine. These courageous individuals were transformational leaders by nature. They bestowed upon me wisdom and encouragement and shared the precious gift of time, which helped generate a surge when my quest toward the finish line occasionally faltered.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: DescriptionThe five stories in this book deal with the attempt of the characters to survive in a world that does not make sense. In The Factory, society has broken down and social discourse has ceased. The Donkey and The Greens both deal with a society that is intact but unhinged where the characters have 'broken down' and do not conform to standard behaviour. All the stories in this collection deal with a main character that is isolated and alone, living in a strange and incomprehensible world that they accept without question. For these characters, the world is not normal, it is simply that they have found themselves within it as if by accident. The concept of normality is challenged here, for normality itself has proven to be a bit strange. About the AuthorBelgin has been writing fiction for fifteen years. Her stories are to a great extent inspired by her childhood experiences which were unsettling and frightening at times as her father suffered from paranoid schizophrenia . When she was growing up, the idea of normality did not exist as every moment was fraught with tension due to her father's unpredictable moods. The strange behaviour within everyday life that Belgin experienced as a child is reflected in her stories where there is often an unnerving quality beneath the surface of the ordinary.

Think Later." is a collection of the greatest life wisdom from an unexpected group of speakers, doers, and thinkers. Boschini “Dance first. Think later. It’s the natural order.”—Samuel Beckett “The only time to eat diet food is while waiting for the steak to cook.” —Julia Child “What you spend years building may be destroyed overnight; build it anyway.” —Mother Teresa And: “Be yourself. Download or read book My Heart Sings written by Jan Auggi Jones and published by Xlibris Corporation. This book was released on 2017-11-29 with total page 489 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This author appreciates writing poetry, novels, childrens stories; the performing arts; and music of many genres. She was raised on gospel and country music played on an old Victrola phonograph with a black-and-white dog staring into a gramophone on the inside of the cover. Today, this author has become enamored with and is fangirling over country a cappella music, which is relatively new. Curious about the behind the scenes activities of a successful bands life, living on the edge of temptations in todays media-frenzied world, she created a believable group running through life on unbelievable favor, spearheaded by love between a wealthy, incredibly intelligent and beautiful African-American ballerina and a super talented tenor from the deep South and their unique way of overcoming racial issues with love. Murder, sex, and drugs fuel the life and romance of these two extraordinary, opposite, characters living and excelling way above the normal expectations of life, hinting into the cosmic pluralism like no one has ever experienced before. This author spent thirty-five years in the busy, topsy-turvy support area of corporate America, starting with the FBI and ending in the legal field, before being forced to retire on disability. This is her first adult romance novel. She writes and has published poetry on poetry.com with two poems published in anthologies; she was the author and publisher of Newsletters for Boy Scout Troop and Pack 731, The Indian Creek District, and for newsletters, service bulletins, and memorial programs for two churches. The author is a widow who lives in Waldorf, Maryland, with her son, daughter-law, grandson, and grandpup, Toli.
