Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This is a guidebook to the real-life Way of the JEDI. The Way of the Djedi is the way of the Force which pre-existed George Lucas and the epic Star Wars saga. Ancient Egyptians, Sufis and Knights Templar mastered the way of the "Djed," Kundalini or "Life Force." Those who were adept at the way of the Djed were known as Djedi. George Lucas dropped the "D" when he began production of Episode 4 in the 70's. This Field Manual, which is guidebook to awakening the force within was subtitled: "the Force Awakens" before Disney, who bought the rights to Star Wars, announced that this was the name to Episode 7 due out in today. So we meditated on it and the Force revealed that the best subtitle for our Manual, Movie and Way of Life is "Force of One." Advanced Healing Arts, Martial Arts and Communication (Diplomacy and Coordination) are practiced and taught daily. Though all to me are one with the force by birth, and though all have the inherent power of the force within them, unless it is awakened it may lay dormant for a lifetime. Once the force awakens, so begins the path of being a Force of One. The FIRST DRAFT of the Way of the Djedi- Force of One is one of three. This first one is rough, just getting started, and intentionally publishing it right away for many reasons. One is so that we have it in our hands instead of on-screen only in order to make final edits. Far better to be sitting out under a tree or next to as stream. Or a Library, Study, Park or Cafe will do. There is just no need to stay hunched over a machine when the great outdoors is always all around. This Manual is a guidebook to Living the Way of the Djedi in a very real and focused, passionate way that is both dangerous and practical. The Way of the Djedi is the Way of the Spiritual Warrior.

Book Death and Salvation in Ancient Egypt

Download or read book Death and Salvation in Ancient Egypt written by Jan Assmann and published by Cornell University Press. This book was released on 2011-11-14 with total page 505 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "Human beings," the acclaimed Egyptologist Jan Assmann writes, "are the animals that have to live with the knowledge of their death, and culture is the world they create so they can live with that knowledge." In his new book, Assmann explores images of death and of death rites in ancient Egypt to provide startling new insights into the particular character of the civilization as a whole. Drawing on the unfamiliar genre of the death liturgy, he arrives at a remarkably comprehensive view of the religion of death in ancient Egypt. Assmann describes in detail nine different images of death: death as the body being torn apart, as social isolation, the notion of the court of the dead, the dead body, the mummy, the soul and ancestral spirit of the dead, death as separation and transition, as homecoming, and as secret. Death and Salvation in Ancient Egypt also includes a fascinating discussion of rites that reflect beliefs about death through language and ritual.

This book was released on 2013-07-22 with total page 285 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Most of the "wonders" of our ancient past have come down to us unencumbered by written information. In particular, this is the case of the Great Pyramid of Giza and of many other ancient Egyptian monuments. However, there is no doubt as to the interest of their builders in the celestial cycles: the "cosmic order" was indeed the true basis of the pharaoh's power. This book takes the reader on a chronological journey through ancient Egypt to explore the relationship between astronomy, landscape, and power during the most flourishing periods of ancient Egyptian civilization. Using the lens of archaeoastronomy, Giulio Magli reexamines the key monuments and turning points of Egyptian architecture and history, such as the solar deification of King Khufu, builder of the Great Pyramid, the Hatshepsut reign, and the Amarna revolution.
