Book The Mystery of the Hebrew Letters

Download or read book The Mystery of the Hebrew Letters written by Reverend Maria Goldstein and published by Christian Faith Publishing, Inc.. This book was released on 2017-10-23 with total page 102 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: “Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? Who hath gathered the wind in his fists? Who hath bound the waters in a garment? Who hath established all the ends of the earth? What is his name, and what is his son’s name, if thou canst tell?” (Proverbs 30:4). The answer to this riddle can be found in the revelation contained within this book. The Son’s identity, once concealed in the divine letters of the Hebrew alphabet... is now revealed! Yeshua said, “Before Abraham was, I am.” Messiah is also known as the Poretz, (the one who will break through). He was present from the beginning of time for the salvation of the world! Each Hebrew letter points to Jesus/Yeshua as the Messiah to all the nations of the world. The mystery of Messiah Yeshua was once hidden in the divine Hebrew letters and the Torah. This breakthrough information has been revealed for such a time as this. Yeshua said, “Repent for the Kingdom of God is near! “This book is a glimpse of Yeshua in the Hebrew Alpha-Bet. Yeshua said, “In the volume of the book it is written of me”. You are about to get a glimpse of Yeshua revealed in the Hebrew. For those not fluent in Hebrew, it is my hope that this book will pique your interest in learning our holy language. As a Jewish Rabbi and a believer in Yeshua the Messiah, I highly recommend Mystery of the Hebrew Letters to connect you to the Jewishness of Yeshua/Jesus. The Bible is a Jewish book from cover to cover and only in studying the Bible in Hebrew, its original language, will you begin to understand the richness of the Word of Elohim. As Christians, it’s time to reconnect to the Jewish Roots of our faith.” - Rabbi Deborah Brandt – Deborah’s Messianic Ministries-Beit Midrash Tefillah Hallel Congregation and Vice President and Instructor at The Judaic Studies Institute and University. “Dr. Maria Goldstein, THANK YOU for writing this incredible book. As a Hebrew Christian for 46 years, I have never read anything like this! It solves the mystery of the Hebrew alphabet and reveals Yeshua/Jesus as the Son of God. Many of my questions have finally been answered by this book, which I highly and enthusiastically recommend!” -Pastor Meyer Stahl- Southern New Mexico Church of God, author, founder, producer, TV and radio host of What is Truth? “The 22 sacred letters of the Hebrew language are profound and spiritual since the language spoken by God in the Bible is made up from these letters. By trying to understand God’s word we can learn even more by understanding the meaning of the letters that brought forth creation. Rev. Dr. Maria Goldstein does a wonderful job of revealing some of these mysteries and their relation to Messiah Yeshua.” Rabbi George Quinn Beth Israel Messianic Center, El Paso, TX "Hebrew is a constructive language, and as such, even the letters must be considered when determining the meaning of the words! A Jewish story goes as follows: When God asked Adam to name the animals, Adam so filled with the knowledge of the Hebrew letters was able to look at each creature and knew which letters God used to bring that creature into existence. Those letters then became the name that Adam gave to each creature. So Adam did not so much as name the animals as much as being filled with the knowledge of the letters, he knew the name God had already given them. Dr Goldstein's Mystery of the Hebrew Letter Jesus Revealed is a wonderful little gem conveying some key elementary points of each Hebrew letter. This primer should be taken as a first step into the larger world of understanding the very Word of God, the Bible." Rabbi Gary Hartshorn Las Cruces, NM

Book excerpt: Path to the Light Beresheet, Volume 4 is filled with the light and love that lies at the heart of the Rav's relationship with the wisdom of Kabbalah. In his commentaries on the Torah, dealing with the portions of Miketz, Vayishlach, and Vayechi, the Rav expounds on the idea that shichecha is an energy-intelligence that creates a condition of forgetfulness; not as a result of the absence of memory but rather because a force of darkness called ketz, which means "end," causes the memory bank to become covered, creating the illusion that it is seemingly blank. Using everyday examples, from the media or common experiences, Rav Berg unravels the Bible's coded messages with simplicity and humor, revealing to the reader practical ways in which kabbalistic principles can be applied to increase the measure of happiness, joy, and peace in life and throughout the world It is not necessary for the reader to review the Path to the Light volumes in any specific order, for they serve solely to radically improve our lives, and this objective is achieved and found in abundance wherever we dip into the text.

Book The Halakhah Volume 1 Part 4

Download or read book The Halakhah Volume 1 Part 4 written by Jacob Neusner and published by BRILL. This book was released on 2021-11-15 with total page 654 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Halakhah embodies the complete Jewish Law, and contains commandments and guidelines for day-to-day living. The original commandments given by God to the Jewish people were enhanced by rabbis to offer a detailed framework to guide the lives of all Jews. In this complete, all-encompassing encyclopaedia of the Halakhah, the various laws are classified in such a way that a systematic and coherent structure is obtained. Each entry of the Halakhah is presented in a logical fashion. Where applicable, the original biblical wording is given, extended with literal abstracts from the Torah. Next, problems and questions that may arise from that law are stated and any additional information given. Finally, each entry gives comprehensive explanations and recommendations as to how these laws are to be observed in daily life – where to be and where not to be, what to do and what not to do, what to say and what not to say. The Halakhah, or standard Jewish Law, combines the Mishnah (about 200 CE), the Tosefta (about 300 CE), and the two Talmuds (about 400, 600 CE for the Land of Israel and Babylon, respectively). Volumes I and II contain entries pertaining to the Jewish people in relationship to God. Volume III explains how the Jewish people can restore and maintain their society in accordance with the Torah as it is explained by the rabbis. In Volumes IV and V of this study, we take up the life of the Jewish household in their encounter with God. The Encyclopaedic account therefore moves from regulating relationships between Israel and God to establishing stable and equitable relationships among Israelites and finally to actually living the Halakhah.

Book excerpt: The authors of the blockbuster book The Bible Code claim that God inserted hidden prophetic messages within the original Hebrew letters of the Old Testament. Their claims have been hailed by many as a new revelation from God. But does The Bible Code hold up to scrutiny? In this well-researched response, best-selling authors John Weldon and Clifford Wilson explain the mechanics of the code in layman's terms, examining its use and message. The authors show how simple it is to manipulate words to create almost any message, and how the core themes presented in The Bible Code are consistent with the teachings of most cults.

Book T T Clark Encyclopedia of Second Temple Judaism Volume Two

Download or read book T T Clark Encyclopedia of Second Temple Judaism Volume Two written by Loren T. Stuckenbruck and published by Bloomsbury Publishing. This book was released on 2019-12-26 with total page 907 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The T&T Clark Encyclopedia of Second Temple Judaism provides a comprehensive reference resource of over 600 scholarly articles aimed at scholars and students interested in Judaism of the Second Temple Period. The two-volume work is split into four parts. Part One offers a prolegomenon for the contemporary study and appreciation of Second Temple Judaism, locating the discipline in relation to other relevant fields (such as Hebrew Bible, Rabbinics, Christian Origins). Beginning with a discussion of terminology, the discussion suggests ways the Second Temple period may be described, and concludes by noting areas of study that challenge our perception of ancient Judaism. Part Two presents an overview of respective contexts of the discipline set within the broad framework of historical chronology corresponding to a set of full-colour, custom-designed maps. With distinct attention to primary sources, the author traces the development of historical, social, political, and religious developments from the time period following the exile in the late 6th century B.C.E. through to the end of the Bar Kokhba revolt (135 C.E.). Part Three focuses specifically on a wide selection of primary-source literature of Second Temple Judaism, summarizing the content of key texts, and examining their similarities and differences with other texts of the period. Essays here include a brief introduction to the work and a summary of its contents, as well as examination of critical issues such as date, provenance, location, language(s), and interpretative matters. The early reception history of texts is also considered, and followed by a bibliography specific to that essay. Numerous high-resolution manuscript images are utilized to illustrate distinct features of the texts. Part Four addresses topics relevant to the Second Temple Period such as places, practices, historical figures, concepts, and subjects of scholarly discussion. These are often supplemented by images, maps, drawings, or diagrams, some of which appear here for the first time. Copiously illustrated, carefully researched and meticulously referenced, this resource provides a reliable, up-to-date and complete guide for those studying early Judaism in its literary and historical settings.

Book Interlinear Hebrew Greek English Bible Volume 3 of 4 Volume Set Psalm 55 Malachi

Download or read book Interlinear Hebrew Greek English Bible Volume 3 of 4 Volume Set Psalm 55 Malachi written by Jay P. Green and published by Authors for Christ, Incorporated. This book was released on 2009-11 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The only complete interlinear Bible available in English-and it's keyed to Strong's Exhaustive Concordance! Thousands of pastors, students, and laypeople have found The Interlinear Bible to be a time-saving tool for researching the subtle nuances and layers of meaning within the original biblical languages. Featuring the complete Hebrew and Greek texts with a direct English rendering below each word, it also includes The Literal Translation of the Bible in the outside column. But what truly sets this resource apart are the Strong's numbers printed directly above the Hebrew and Greek words. Strong's numbers enable even those with no prior knowledge of Greek or Hebrew to easily access a wealth of language reference works keyed to Strong's-Greek/Hebrew dictionaries, analytical lexicons, concordances, word studies, and more. The Hebrew is based on the Masoretic Text and the Greek is from the Textus Receptus. The sources of the texts are documented in the preface, and are essentially the same (with some minor variations) to the Hebrew and Greek texts used by the KJV translators. Only a small minority of Bible students ever achieve the ability to read the original biblical languages. This resource offers a non-threatening tool for those lacking language training to begin exploring the languages of Scripture. - Conveniently includes the entire Hebrew and Greek text of the Bible in one place - Offering a concise, literal translation of each Greek and Hebrew word, it's a great jumping off point for in-depth Bible study and text analysis. This Bible displays all the Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek words of the Bible in the Masoretic Hebrew Text and the Received Greek Text, with literal, accurate English meanings placed directly under each original word in interlinear form, with Strong's Concordance numbers over each original word, enabling the Bible student (whether knowing the original languages or not) to refer to all lexicons and concordances that have also been coded with Strong's numbers. 2,936 pages, bound in a bonded leather over boards hardback edition. This new edition has been much improved by a new typesetting of the New Testament (Volume IV), with larger print, the left marginal column containing a newly revised Literal Translation of the Bible (2000), and a right marginal column containing the Authorized/King James Version (1769). The three volume Old Testament is an exact reprint of the 1985 Hendrickson Publishers Edition. The Old Testament does not yet have the 1769 King James Version. The only complete Interlinear Bible is now fully keyed to Strong's Concordance numbers. The Strong's numbering above each Hebrew and Greek word - along with the Interlinear text and marginal literal English Translation and the 1769 Authorized King James Version - opens a treasure house of Bible study possibilities for those who wish to understand the Scripture better. It's use will allow the novice student to read the original text without losing valuable time to look up the meaning of the Hebrew & Greek words in the Hebrew & Greek lexicons. There is no substitute for a first hand knowledge of the original text. However since only a small minority of Bible students retain an easy reading comprehension of the original text, the Interlinear Bible is a welcome aid to Bible students, laymen, and pastors who wish to continue working with the original languages.
