Con este enfoque, en Artistas del recuerdo se ha tratado de explorar los significados sugeridos o implícitos en estas novelas, intentando captar las imágenes sociales de las construcciones de género y las propuestas identitarias que plantean, así como el diálogo que estas escritoras han mantenido con la Historia y con otros discursos culturales, observando sus posibles mecanismos de resistencia frente a las concepciones hegemónicas.
