These resources are linked to changes in the alluvial valley, because alluvium is the sub strate for riparian vegetation and the allu vial channel is the habitat of six species of native fish (deacon, written commun., Results of this study suggest that the allu vial valley has changed rapidly in response to natural discharge variations.
