It’s the highest honor and privilege a human can endure in one lifetime. This journey is only summoned for advanced old souls and those strong enough in their spiritual directive to hold the immense energy needed to complete their mission. One must undergo the dark night of the soul which triggers the awakening process. When we evolve through our challenges, we have the power to free hundreds of thousands of people taken hostage by their own shadows, heal generational wounds, clear future legacies for our children, and heal our own karmic debts. Author Sara Bachmeier has personally experienced this process, and she shares her story in The Path of a Wounded Healer. A sequel to her first book, Egyptian Numerology, this new book describes in greater detail the challenges, blessings, lessons, and teachings that all wounded healers are prone to endure and must learn to integrate while traveling on their intended path, purpose, and destiny in this incarnation. In The Path of a Wounded Healer, she helps people understand nothing is random, and everything has purpose and reason. Once you understand the value of your soul-life agreement, you can find peace and determination strong enough to go beyond human limitations and conditions to heal some of life’s most difficult challenges and to help others as they trudge the road on their destined path.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: For as long as I can remember I have wanted to help people. In actuality it is in my nature to want to give and is one factor of my lineage I cherish; being brought up in a responsible home whereby you work hard for what you want was a valued quality instilled by my parents as was the drive to accomplish and succeed. For the summers I would go to my reserve, Wikwemikong, on Manitoulin Island and participate in the pow wow. My connection with my people there had a very strong influence in regards to my love and empathy for them and thus, for myself. The culture and the beautiful sense of connectedness with them, the Creator and mother earth gave me strength. I've grown and seen much and experienced also the same things as my people, such as the forced influential plight for assimilation and the splitting of two worlds leaving a sense of displacement and lost identity. I believe this close relationship with my roots and the love of my people will only fuel hope in helping them and others experiencing trauma and the intergenerational affects it has caused toward a fusion of two worlds and peace within.

Book Healer of Souls

Download or read book Healer of Souls written by Kathleen E. Quasey and published by Xlibris Corporation. This book was released on 2008-06-13 with total page 571 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "We all have weaknesses that affect our body, mind, and spirit. But it is our will to overcome them that decides how we live. With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible (Mt 19:26)" - Father Peter Mary Rookey, O.S.M. The healing priest, Father Peter Mary Rookey, O.S.M, received Christs Gift of Healing in 1948. Since then, thousands of healings have been reported worldwide. Witness letters, some with medical consensus, have been submitted to the International Compassion Ministry. When asked about the healings, Father Rookey simply says, "I just do what He told us to do and the people are delivered and healed. We are answering the last command of Jesus, . . . They shall lay their hands upon the sick, and they shall recover (Mk 16:18). For the first time, in his own words, Father Rookey explains his lifes journey that has been guided by his constant "Yes" to God. With gentle humor and keen intelligence, Father Rookey provides practical direction of how deepening trust in Gods Laws and Love leads to the healing of serious hurts and the overcoming of lifes most difficult challenges. In the process, Father Rookey says, "Our souls begin to recognize that we belong to Him and He is Love. Ultimately, filled with His Love, we can give the gift of ourselves to Christ and His Love will come forth through us." Nihil Obstat, Rev. Anthony J. Brankin, S.T.L., Imprimatur, Rev. George J. Rassas, Archdiocese of Chicago, November, 2005; " . . .it is all I can do to put it down. There is so much to this book. . . The testimonies of numerous healings are wonderful to read. The insights into Fathers life are also wonderful to read. But perhaps the most important parts of this book deal with his answers to the insightful questions which the author asks. For example, in asking Father about spiritual enslavement, he talked of conversion and turning away from serving Satan toward serving God. Father says, "Thats what we are about in the healing ministry. Although some sickness, for example, is allowed by God to purify us and sanctify us because there is no prayer, no sanctifier, like suffering. Jesus Himself proved that, by suffering terribly and even dying in agony to open the Gates of Heaven for us. There is nothing compared with suffering to sanctify and to be a power for good in the world. . . . This is just a very small example of the wisdom contained in this book from Father Rookeys heart and mind. Often times, I had to reread what he said, it is so beautiful and touching . . . The numerous pictures throughout the book are amazing.. . . . This is the first book I have ever read preparing to do a review that I do not feel qualified to review . . . I have known Father Rookey for many years yet had no idea how brilliant a man he is. I knew he was a holy man but had no idea the depth of his holiness. I knew he healed many people but had no idea how many. . . This book is a treasure." Mary Sue Eck, Editor, Medjugorje Magazine; "I am 3/4 of the way done . . .I am speechless. My prayer life has changed because of this book. I often find myself going through the motions at Mass praying as though I should. This book has helped me reflect on our religion/Mass and the sacraments (especially reconciliation). (The) book about Father Rookey has had a deep impact on me." Jamie; "I think it is the best book so far because of the vast amount of spiritual advice and information. It should be read daily and the various chapters over and over again to absorb them because of the depth and intelligence of the advice." Richard

Book Jesus the Best Capernaum Folk Healer

Download or read book Jesus the Best Capernaum Folk Healer written by Zorodzai Dube and published by Wipf and Stock Publishers. This book was released on 2020-11-10 with total page 184 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book takes the established fields of orality, performance, and first-century Christian healthcare studies further by combining analogues of praise performances to Apollo, Asclepius, and those from the Dondo people of South Eastern Zimbabwe to propose that Jesus's healing stories in Mark's Gospel are praise-giving narratives to Jesus as the best folk healer within the region of Capernaum. The book argues that the memory of Jesus as the folk healer from Capernaum survived and possibly functioned in similar contexts of praise-giving within early Christian households. The book goes through each healing story in Mark's Gospel and imaginatively listens to it through the ears of analogue from praise-giving given to Greek healers/heroes and similar practices among the Dondo people. The power, completeness, and effectiveness in which Jesus healed each of the mentioned conditions provoke praise-giving from the listeners to the best folk healer in the village. In each instance, while Mark is calling for attention to the new healer, more so, he is raving praise-giving.

At the center of professional nursing lies the authentic presence of the nurse, the intention and commitment that brings nurses to the profession in the first place. When there is congruence between who nurses are and what they do, nurses bring their souls to work. This balance is experienced as a healing presence that encourages the patient's self-healing capacity. Throughout this book, JoEllen Koerner explores ways--scientific, creative, and spiritual--of understanding the power and impact of this "healing presence" on both the caregiver and those receiving care.
