Book Users Manual TSC Highway Noise Prediction Code MOD 04

Download or read book Users Manual TSC Highway Noise Prediction Code MOD 04 written by F. F. Rudder and published by . This book was released on 1977 with total page 244 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The users manual presents a detailed description of the TSC highway noise prediction computer program. The evolution of the TSC program is described to illustrate salient differences between successive versions of the computer code. The version presented in this manual is called the MOD-04 version. The manual relates the analytical basis to the coded statements to indicate how the prediction procedure utlizes input data. The manual describes the features of the MOD-04 version and present guidelines for formulating problems. Detailed description of input data requirements and example problems are presented to illustrate usage of the computer program. The appendicies to the users manual describe the theoretical basis, computer system details, and subprogram descriptions of the MOD-04 version of the TSC highway noise prediction code.

Book Update of TSC Highway Traffic Noise Prediction Code 1974

Download or read book Update of TSC Highway Traffic Noise Prediction Code 1974 written by F. F. Rudder and published by . This book was released on 1977 with total page 56 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Modifications to the TSC highway traffic noise prediction code are described that include speed-dependent noise emission levels for all vehicle types considered by the code and the development of a users manual for the prediction code. Comparisons between highway noise predictions using the modified version and previous versions of the prediction code are presented. The evolution of the TSC highway traffic noise prediction code is described to indicate salient differences between the several versions in existence.

Book Statistical Analysis of FHWA Traffic Noise Data

Download or read book Statistical Analysis of FHWA Traffic Noise Data written by Y Y. Ma and published by . This book was released on 1978 with total page 72 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This report presents the results of the statistical analysis of FHWA traffic noise data collected in Colorado, Florida, North Carolina and Washington. Prediction equations of the peak dBA levels of trucks as functions of speed are derived for each of the axle groups: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 3-5, and each of the four states. These equations are used to establish vehicle reference emission levels for medium and heavy trucks. Similar results are derived for noise levels in octave bands at frequencies 31.6, 63, 125, 250, 500, 1K, 2K, 4K and 8K Hz. Attenuation rates are estimated for each of the four states. These results can be used in highway noise prediction models.
