Book User s Guide for Computer Program CGFAG Concrete General Flexure Analysis with Graphics

Download or read book User s Guide for Computer Program CGFAG Concrete General Flexure Analysis with Graphics written by W. A Price (III.) and published by . This book was released on 1984 with total page 46 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This user's guide is designed to analyze cross sections of reinforced and nonreinforced concrete as they are subjected to any combination of axial loads and bending. This program is one of the oldest examples of computerized structural analysis. Its versatility in classifying irregular cross sections, bolted baseplates, and unreinforced sections has sustained a demand for it from its origin to the present. The program has been used for numerous applications through manipulation of the ratio r. The phase for differentiation of nonreinforced sections has been implemented to theorize footing pressure and to make stability analyses. The recent revisions can be credited with making output easier to interpret and providing the new capability, graphics output of the geometry and stress equation calculation. The format allows for the output to be separated into a summary page of detailed stress tables. This ratio governs development of the transformed area of reinforcement in compression. It is actually the ratio of the effective modulus of the reinforcement in compression to that of the reinforcement in tension. Keywords: CGFAG (Concrete General Analysis with Graphics).

Book User s Guide 2 D Frame Analysis Link Program LINK2D

Download or read book User s Guide 2 D Frame Analysis Link Program LINK2D written by Chris A. Merrill and published by . This book was released on 1987 with total page 40 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This two-dimensional (2-D) frame analysis link program, LINK2D, provides the external link necessary for bridging the gap in data from rudimentary analysis design capabilities to data from more advanced structural analysis/design computer programs. The newly created data base could thereby be used throughout the building design process. Data generated in STRUCTURE, a module of the Computer-Aided Engineering and Architectural Design System (CAEADS), have been used to create input data for CFRAME and/or the 2-D capability of GTSTRUDL. CFRAME is a product of the computer-aided Structural Engineering (CASE) project and GTSTRUDL is a proprietary software program developed by and for the benefit of the Georgia Institute of Technology.
