A. Mainwaring. A satire in heroic couplets that derides the contemporary state of English poetry and criticism, particularly recent criticism of Byron in the Edinburgh Review. Byron mocks many poets, including Pope, Sheridan, Southey and Coleridge. The transcription faithfully follows the printed version, although omits the date on the title page.
