Book Understanding the Book of Revelation The Mystery of the Book of Revelation is Finally Revealed

Download or read book Understanding the Book of Revelation The Mystery of the Book of Revelation is Finally Revealed written by Ph. D. Donald E. Mbosowo and published by Xulon Press. This book was released on 2010-11 with total page 218 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book is about the truth revealed from the mystery hidden in the Book of Revelation. The Book of Revelation is about the missing information revealed to John because there was no record in the Bible about what happened to the perfect creation in Genesis 1:1. There was no record about Adam, created by the I AM, as the first God and his generations before this present world. The Bible has not recorded the lineage of Jesus from the I AM in order to present to the world who is Jesus. This is the truth that must be known. The Book of Revelation had been misunderstood because of the political interpretation of its images. In John 8:32, Jesus says, "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free" Here, the truth, refers to Jesus who has power to set humanity free from the bondage of the God of this world. Jesus declares in John 14: 6, that He is the "Truth". After the gospel had been preached for thousands of years, humanity is still in captivity of the God of this world. Many people keep asking why a good God can allow these types of suffering. This shows that Jesus the "Truth" is not yet known. Confessing Jesus as a Savior is different from knowing Him. This has been done for thousands of years and the world is getting worst. When Jesus, the "Truth" is known, He will set humanity free from this spiritual enslavement. The revealed truth from the mystery in the Book of Revelation, presented here, is a divine journey toward knowing Jesus, the "Truth". I encourage everyone to read this book.

Download or read book Revelations written by Elaine Pagels and published by Penguin. This book was released on 2012-03-06 with total page 278 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A startling exploration of the history of the most controversial book of the Bible, by the bestselling author of Beyond Belief. Through the bestselling books of Elaine Pagels, thousands of readers have come to know and treasure the suppressed biblical texts known as the Gnostic Gospels. As one of the world's foremost religion scholars, she has been a pioneer in interpreting these books and illuminating their place in the early history of Christianity. Her new book, however, tackles a text that is firmly, dramatically within the New Testament canon: The Book of Revelation, the surreal apocalyptic vision of the end of the world . . . or is it? In this startling and timely book, Pagels returns The Book of Revelation to its historical origin, written as its author John of Patmos took aim at the Roman Empire after what is now known as "the Jewish War," in 66 CE. Militant Jews in Jerusalem, fired with religious fervor, waged an all-out war against Rome's occupation of Judea and their defeat resulted in the desecration of Jerusalem and its Great Temple. Pagels persuasively interprets Revelation as a scathing attack on the decadence of Rome. Soon after, however, a new sect known as "Christians" seized on John's text as a weapon against heresy and infidels of all kinds-Jews, even Christians who dissented from their increasingly rigid doctrines and hierarchies. In a time when global religious violence surges, Revelations explores how often those in power throughout history have sought to force "God's enemies" to submit or be killed. It is sure to appeal to Pagels's committed readers and bring her a whole new audience who want to understand the roots of dissent, violence, and division in the world's religions, and to appreciate the lasting appeal of this extraordinary text.

Book The Mystery Revealed

Download or read book The Mystery Revealed written by Larry D. Edwards and published by . This book was released on 2008 with total page 480 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The mystery of Revelation is unfolded by the Prophet, the Lord Jesus Christ. Revelation is based on the prophetic themes of the Old Testament and the development of those themes in the Olivet Discourse. This commentary integrates the book of Zechariah, most of the book of Daniel, and several chapters from other visionary prophets with the message of Revelation. The world is in the throes of the labor pains of the end times. Bible prophecy alludes to the nations that will be of worldwide concern during these times: England, the United States, Russia, Israel, and several Middle East nations. Persecution of Christians and Jews, terrorism, and Satanism are prophesied. The Scriptures tell of a Great Middle East War that will occur at the end of the Great Tribulation where weapons of mass destruction may be used. The relevancy of prophecy to the current world situation is discussed throughout this commentary. During his medical career, the author has studied internal medicine, geriatrics, and infectious diseases and been credentialed in these fields. He has published in scientific journals in the discipline of infectious diseases. His medical fellowships include the American College of Physicians, the American College of Physician Executives, and the American College of Healthcare Executives. Book Unveiling the Mysteries of the Last Days

Download or read book Unveiling the Mysteries of the Last Days written by David A. Hamblin and published by Tate Publishing. This book was released on 2010-06 with total page 420 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Since being written, the end-time prophecies of the Bible have been shrouded in mystery. Our world is now inundated with book after book on the subject of end-time interpretation. Often, the most important aspects of the Bible's prophecies are twisted or changed to fit the needs of a Hollywood movie. Expertly sifting through the modern fog covering these important prophecies, David Hamblin takes an exhaustive yet thoroughly readable approach to the study of the end times. Using the proven techniques of the scientific method, David put together a system of prophecy analysis that would allow for extremely complex theories to be tested against the many and varying passages of end times prophecy. Beginning with a solid faith in the Bible as the infallible Word of God, he now presents his findings in God's Prophetic Timeline. Never before has there been such a clear and concise presentation of God's timeline for the future, along with many passages that David admits we cannot yet understand. Written for the minister and layperson alike, it begins by explaining the church age and progresses through each of Revelation's seven phases, ending with new heaven and new earth. His approach details even subtle prophetic material, including Israel's future wealth, the world war it triggers, and Jesus' coronation. Don't be puzzled any longer by confusion on the subject of prophecy. Leave behind the many contradictory theories propagated by the misinformed. Follow along as God's Prophetic Timeline shows you, in detail, the tested, validated, and unified understanding of the Bible's prophecies.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Revelation Revealed is a study of the book of Revelation. It is not an “end-times” book in that it does not seek to identify current events in the light of Bible prophecy; rather, Revelation Revealed examines the book of Revelation itself—what are its key imagery and symbols? What do they mean? What are the timelines of the book? What is the sequence of events? What are the Days of Noah? Who is “the Beast” and how do we understand him? What is the “mark of the Beast”? How do we understand "Babylon the Great, the Mother of Prostitutes”? Is there a rapture? All of these questions, and many more, are addressed, with all questions being approached exclusively from the standpoint of Scripture itself—it is Scripture which answers these questions for us, and clear conclusions are reached. The events outlined in the book of Revelation are the most-prophesied events in the Bible, and Revelation Revealed shows that the book of Revelation is understandable, for God has given us all that we need in order to understand it.

Book What Does Revelation Reveal

Download or read book What Does Revelation Reveal written by Dr. Warren Carter and published by Abingdon Press. This book was released on 2011-08-01 with total page 166 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Book of Revelation has been mysterious, confusing, and misunderstood for centuries. Its content has been studied and analyzed by scholars from every corner of the globe. What is it about Revelation that draws us to it? Is this biblical book about end-time mysteries and hidden codes? Does and it relate to our present day? So what does Revelation actually reveal? Or should Revelation be left behind? According to Dr. Carter, the book of Revelation can tell us about biblical times as well as our own. It can show us how we, as Christians, are to live and hope for our world. Revelation reveals God's Word to God's World: that culture accommodation is dangerous, that judgment is taking place now, that the world does have a chance to repent, that there are evil powers working behind the scene, that the time is up for the eternal empire, and that God is coming in triumph.
