Book excerpt: What miracles do we miss when we close our eyes to the wonder of everyday moments? In this busy, jaded world of ours, we often take for granted what we see every day. We may set aside time to spend with God in a quiet room, but we struggle to see his hand in a traffic jam or while walking the dog. But for Karen Wingate, sight itself is something extraordinary, and what our eyes can reveal is even more astounding. Karen lived most of her life with severely limited sight due to a cluster of disorders stemming from a genetic defect. But through the chance outcome of a surgery, she regained sight in one eye that doubled her visual acuity—and allowed her to see things she had never seen before. And as she discovered a more detailed world for the first time, she also began to see God in every new discovery—from the prosaic numbers of a bathroom scale to the glory of sunsets. With Fresh Eyes invites readers to not only celebrate the gift of their own sight but also reawaken the wonder of what they observe in creation—great and small—and how God is working in everyday moments. In each of her sixty meditations, Karen's humor and whimsy draw a connection between physical sight and spiritual understanding that will leave readers with a renewed joy and delight in what is good and beautiful, and will reassure them that God still works in the lives of his people.

Book The Spirit of Divine Interception

Download or read book The Spirit of Divine Interception written by Francis Myles and published by . This book was released on 2013-09 with total page 254 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In this life-changing book, Dr. Francis Myles introduces the reader to one of the most powerful spiritual technologies in all of creation. God instituted this technology to govern the spiritual, social and nancial heirs of Kingdom citizens during their pilgrimage here on earth. At the heart of all informed spiritual or scientific research is a body of questions that fuel the whole investigation. In the spirit of informed investigation, this book will seek to answer the following questions... Why are questions of regret so universal and common to the human experience? Is there a diabolical and calculated conspiracy behind many of the tears of regret that are common to the human experience? If God is good and all-powerful, why does He allow the evil and the pain of regret to be visited upon innocent people? Why do most people blame God for the pain in their lives that is a direct consequence of their actions? Why are these stories of disaster and regret concentrated in the Marketplace? Why do Kingdom entrepreneurs lose millions of dollars in bad business deals? Is there a "fail-proof" technology for "intercepting" much of the evil that is visited upon humans before it actually happens? This book also contains cases studies from the Bible and present day people that are designed to illustrate the dire need for a "fail-proof spiritual technology" for "intercepting" demonically engineered diabolical plans and ploys to inject suffering, loss and injury in the human experience; especially in the Marketplace.

Book excerpt: Divine Intervention: Exploring the effect of God's interventions in everyday life explains how allowing God to intervene in your life can help to turn negative into positive. Author Chinyere Almona shares her literary musings as she reflects on God's influence on some words prefixed with "dis-," which connote a negative situation. She pondered on the question: "What if 'God' were added to these words, in the form of the prefix 'His-'?" For example, the word "disability" would become "His-ability." This book invites you to reflect on the influence God can have in your life - when you allow His intervention. It is also an invitation for those who desire to experience real and lasting change in their lives and circumstances, which comes from fully engaging with God. Divine Intervention seeks to capture the essence and practical reality of God's influence. Reflecting on the transformational and reversal effect of any situation when the God-factor is introduced was both an exploratory and inspirational experience for Chinyere, and now she is sharing this experience with you. Dive in and be inspired to explore your life for situations that can be reversed by Divine Intervention. Chinyere Almona, who is also the author of Divine Orchestration, is a versatile inspirational speaker and prolific Bible teacher; her overarching purpose is to inspire people to love and live by the Word of God. Book The Mystery of Divine Intervention

Download or read book The Mystery of Divine Intervention written by Apostle Joshua Selman and published by Independently Published. This book was released on 2021-11-03 with total page 32 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Introduction There are five things that will always happen for as long as we live serving the purposes of God in and through this platform. Every time we gather, there must be encounters. An encounter is an experience that makes God and His principles real in your life. There must be transformation- the name given to the process that makes you become like Christ in experience. We must give the Holy Spirit an opportunity to review the love and the power of Jesus through signs, wonders and miracles. There must be impartations of all sorts. An impartation is a transference of spiritual possibilities. Men can carry graces. Our possibilities in this kingdom are defined by the kinds and the levels of graces that we carry. "Thou anointed my head with oil" and I see the proof on my head by looking at my cup; it doesn't anoint my cup . If something is wrong with my cup, the problem is not my cup; the problem is what is on my head. We must always provide an opportunity for fellowship. How good and how pleasant it is when brethren dwell together in unity. It's like the oil that comes upon the head of Aaron down to his beard and his garment. It says, "There, the Lord has commanded the blessing." What you're about to read will change your life in the name of Jesus Christ. The Lord put a very powerful teaching in my heart and I'm sent to the body of Christ primarily. It's regardless denomination, the doctrinal differences that seem to divide us (it's part of the reasons why He brought us to this city and has projected us to the nations as instruments of unity, balance, dexterity and groove). We are lifted and strengthened in this kingdom not based on our longevity in the faith. Time does not change anything. Time only reveals. A 10-year-old error can still destroy like a 1-year-old error provided it is error. It takes understanding. It says, " for the people that sat in darkness have seen a great light". If you're distracted when the word of God is coming, be sure that it is an attack because it takes focus and concentration to receive. There is an intellectual dimension to the reception of the word. It's not just a spiritual affair alone; your mind has to be active and fruitful. So, even if your spirit is alive and your mind is distracted... That's why sometimes before the message comes, God quickly settles issues like these because some of those issues are the things that distract people from listening. While the word of God is coming, someone is thinking, "How do I battle this issue, how do I battle that issue?"

Book Creating Miracles

Download or read book Creating Miracles written by Carolyn G. Miller, PhD and published by H J Kramer. This book was released on 2011-02-08 with total page 289 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Miracles Can Happen to You! We normally use the term “miraculous” to describe dramatic, larger-than-life events, but not all miracles are out of this world. Ordinary miracles — surprising positive occurrences, such as surviving a horrible automobile accident or finding our soul mate — can happen in our everyday lives. A scientist as well as a student of metaphysics, Dr. Carolyn Miller has spent more than twenty-five years researching the elements that are common in real-life miracles. She has discovered that ordinary people often survive impending disaster by entering a serene state of consciousness and following inner guidance. In Creating Miracles, Dr. Miller shares specific suggestions and techniques, such as tapping into our intuition and disarming our ego, for cultivating a state of miracle-readiness in our lives. Through the true stories and amazing experiences she relates in this book, she demonstrates that miracles are real and that accessing them requires only that we follow some clear and simple steps.

In your heart, you wonder if it is your mind playing tricks on you and begin to wonder if this is really God speaking to you. But when you have experienced God's voice and his presence, you will eventually know when he is speaking. That is how this book came about. The call of God to chronicle my testimonies. Because in truth and in fact, our testimonies is to bless others. We have already gone through whatever our experience was. And now it's time to help someone else. To encourage others to hold on and keep believing. I trust that this book will propel your faith to the next level. Knowing that God is able to do the impossible in your life. To help you to believe God for greater things not just for yourself but for others as well. To understand that in this season of your life, you can dare to believe that the supernatural can and will take place in your life if you dare to believe.
