Book Elimination of Satan s Tail

Download or read book Elimination of Satan s Tail written by Samael Aun Weor and published by . This book was released on 2014-07-15 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The beginning of suffering is symbolized in the Bible by the story of Adam and Eve, who represent all the men and women of ancient times, and who lived in "Eden," a Hebrew word that literally means "bliss, ecstasy." Tempted by the "serpent," they ate the forbidden fruit of the Tree of Knowledge, and were cast out of Eden. The serpent was also cursed and fell into disgrace, thus forming the "tail of Satan," a symbol of degeneration, and the opposite of that famous healing serpent of Moses, also called "kundalini." Since that time, humanity has been suffering in the wilderness, longing to find a way back to the happiness we once knew. The path to return to Eden requires that we correct the original mistake and its consequences, all of which reside within us. Since "Eden" represents a state of consciousness, we need a radical shift in how we use consciousness from moment to moment, and to convert the subconsciousness into consciousness, a work accomplished only by mastering the ancient science of meditation, which is explained in this book. By restoring our inner purity, we return to the primordial state of spiritual and psychological beauty that is our natural birthright, which is accompanied by serenity, joyfulness, and perception of the divine. Adam and Eve walked and talked with divine beings; we can too, if we conquer the fallen serpent with us, and return to our original state of purity.

Book Satan in the Dance Hall

Download or read book Satan in the Dance Hall written by Ralph G. Giordano and published by Scarecrow Press. This book was released on 2008-10-23 with total page 305 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Satan in the Dance Hall explores the overwhelming popularity of social dancing and its close relationship to America's rapidly changing society in the 1920s. The book focuses on the fiercely contested debate over the morality of social dancing in New York City, led by moral reformers and religious leaders like Rev. John Roach Straton. Fed by the firm belief that dancing was the leading cause of immorality in New York, Straton and his followers succeeded in enacting municipal regulations on social dancing and moral conduct within the more than 750 public dance halls in New York City. Ralph G. Giordano conveys an easy to read and full picture of life in the Jazz Age, incorporating important events and personalities such as the Flu Epidemic, the Scopes Monkey Trial, Prohibition, Flappers, Gangsters, Texas Guinan, and Charles Lindbergh, while simultaneously describing how social dancing was a hugely prominent cultural phenomenon, one closely intertwined with nearly every aspect of American society fromthe Great War to the Great Depression. With a bibliography, an index, and over 35 photos, Satan in the Dance Hall presents an interdisciplinary study of social dancing in New York City throughout the decade.

Book On the Devil s Tail

Download or read book On the Devil s Tail written by Paul Martelli and published by Helion and Company. This book was released on 2015-01-19 with total page 329 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A collaborationist who fought for Germany during WWII and later for the French in Vietnam tells his eventful life story in this military memoir. This is the riveting true story of Paul Martelli who fought on the Eastern Front in 1945 as a fifteen-year-old member of the 33rd Waffen-Grenadier-Division of the SS Charlemagne, and later, as a soldier with French forces in the Tonkin area of Vietnam. Paul recounts his time at the Sennheim military training base; his experience of the German invasion of France when he was still a boy in Lorraine; and his motivations for enlisting with the Waffen SS a few years later. He reveals his escapades at Greifenberg, his first love with a German girl helping refugees, and his experiences of combat. After the German defeat, Martelli ends up delivering a group of female camp prisoners to a Russian officer, then living in disguise among enemy soldiers until he escapes and surrenders to the Americans. After a prison sentence and military service in Morocco, Paul is sent to fight in defense of French bases north of Hanoi, Vietnam. Though he survives three years of fierce combat, he compares his service in the Waffen SS with the inefficiency of the French Expeditionary Force and comes out deeply frustrated. At almost twenty-six, Martelli has fought and lost in two wars, both against the communists. Unemployed, and with the ideals of a ‘Nouvelle Europe’ in pieces, he briefly joins the French Foreign Legion before choosing another path
