Book excerpt: “Brightly illuminating! Tumbled People offers a gracious invitation and a guide through the stages that we can expect to experience on the sacred journey of faith. Jacci not only describes the passages and how they change the way we view God, ourselves, and our life-world, but invites active participation in an authentic process towards spiritual maturation through ancient spiritual practices. A wonderful companion for those who are willing to undertake the journey of faithing throughout a lifetime.” —The Rev. Canon Catherine Gregg, D.Min. “I remember the first time I did a personality test and realized I wasn’t weird but was a person with a unique but recognizable personality. It was revolutionary in my life because it helped me make sense of who and how I was in the world. I think Jacci’s book will accomplish the same thing for those who are deconstructing their beliefs and questioning their faith. This book is like a spiritual map and just may help them realize that they aren’t lost, but that they are on a very clear path of spiritual progress and growth.” —David Hayward, aka the NakedPastor “In an age when everyone is deconstructing and reconstructing their faith experience, Tumbled People offers the tools needed to explore more deeply the stages of faith. And while many books on faith stages outline what that looks like, Jacci takes us deeper as she shares what those shifting stages of growth feel like in real life. This is pure invitation to the reader to explore and experience the journey in companionship with her.” —Marsha Crockett, author of Sacred Conversation: Exploring the Seven Gifts of Spiritual Direction Are you feeling spiritually adrift, burned out, and hopeless? Are the old ways of praying not working for you anymore? I am here to tell you that you are not alone. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: For fans of Orphan Train and Water for Elephants, a compelling historical novel from “one of the best authors of women’s fiction” (Library Journal). Set against the turbulent backdrop of American Vaudeville, four sisters embark on an unexpected adventure—and a last-ditch effort to save their family. It’s 1919, and the Turners are barely scraping by. When their father loses his job, their irrepressible mother decides that vaudeville is their best chance to make the rent—and create a more exciting life for herself in the process. Traveling by train from town to town, teenagers Gert, Winnie, and Kit, and recent widow Nell soon find a new kind of freedom in the company of performers who are as diverse as their acts. There is a seamier side to the business, however, and the young women face dangers and turns of fate they never could have anticipated. Heartwarming and surprising, The Tumbling Turner Sisters is ultimately a story of awakening—to unexpected possibilities, to love and heartbreak, and to the dawn of a new American era.

Book excerpt: A New York Times Notable Book of the Year “Riveting. . . . Without ever taking the easy way out, the book explores the battle of good vs. evil on very human terms.” —Washington Post Book World Dark in mood and rich in character, Over Tumbled Graves by #1 New York Times bestselling author Jess Walter is that rare thriller that manages to be at once viscerally gripping and deeply provocative During a routine drug bust, on a narrow bridge over white-water falls in the center of town, Spokane detective Caroline Mabry finds herself face-to-face with a brutal murderer. Within hours, the body of a young prostitute is found on the riverbank nearby. What follows confronts our fascination with pathology and murder and stares it down, as Caroline and her cynical partner, Alan Dupree—thrown headlong into the search for a serial murderer who communicates by killing women—uncover some hard truths about their profession . . . and each other. Rich with the darkly muted colors of the Pacific Northwest skies, Over Tumbled Graves established Jess Walter as a novelist of extraordinary emotional depth and dimension.

Download or read book The Interpretation of The Meaning of The Holy Quran Volume 76 Surah Al Qalam Surah Al Haqqah written by Nasoha Bin Saabin and published by . This book was released on with total page pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: I have written many books and articles on various topics but since 2013, I have devoted myself fully in writing the interpretation of the Holy Quran in English and with the grace of Allah, I have completed the whole Quran on 29th October 2020 with 84 books. I believe there is a great need in the whole world for the correct interpretation of the Holy Quran to be written in English. Currently, there is a great misunderstanding about Islam among Muslims and non-Muslims globally. The misunderstanding of the meaning of the Holy Quran among Muslims will lead to the wrong practice of Islam which leads to the wrong actions of Muslims. The wrong actions of Muslims will lead to misunderstandings about Islam among Muslims and non-Muslims. The wrong actions of the Muslims have led to many miseries and wars among Muslims. The wrong actions of Muslims have also led to many wars and clashes between Muslims and non-Muslims. In order to avoid miseries, wars and clashes from taking place between the whole mankind in the whole world, the whole mankind in the whole world need to understand the true teaching of Islam. There is no other way for the whole mankind to understand the true teaching of Islam unless the whole mankind is able to read and understand the correct interpretation of the Holy Quran. The whole mankind is only able to read and understand the correct interpretation of the Holy Quran when it is written in the universal language of the world (English). For this very reason I have written the interpretation of the Holy Quran in English. Prof. Nasoha Bin Saabin
