This book was released on 1992-09-22 with total page 478 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The automatic generation of parallel code from high level sequential description is of key importance to the wide spread use of high performance machine architectures. This text considers (in detail) the theory and practical realization of automatic mapping of algorithms generated from systems of uniform recurrence equations (do-lccps) onto fixed size architectures with defined communication primitives. Experimental results of the mapping scheme and its implementation are given.

Book Crystalline and Non crystalline Solids

Download or read book Crystalline and Non crystalline Solids written by Pietro Mandracci and published by BoD – Books on Demand. This book was released on 2016-06-29 with total page 186 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The structural properties of materials play a fundamental role in the determination of their suitability for a specific application. This book is intended as a contribution to the efforts to increase the knowledge of the influence exerted on the properties of materials by their crystalline or amorphous structure. To this aim, some of the materials that are most promising for their use in different technological fields have been studied, namely graphene, titanium oxide, several types of functional metal oxides, porphyrinic crystalline solids, plasma deposited polymers, amorphous silicon, as well as hydrogenated amorphous carbon. These materials have been presented by the authors for their use in different applications, including microelectronics, photonics, and biomedicine.

This book was released on 1992 with total page 463 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Third International Workshop on Non-Crystalline Solids was held in Matalascanas (Costa de la Luz) near Sevilla, Spain, from November 5th to November 8th 1991, ans was attended by some 85 scientists from 11 countries. The three-day scientific program comprised 11 invited lectures and 69 contributions distributed among five oral sessions and three poster sessions. The presented papers covered a great variety of topics dealing with processing techniques and structure, crystallization, glass transition, relaxation and molecular motion, properties and applications of non-crystalline materials with emphasis on basics and focussed principally on metallic, chalcogenide and polymeric glasses, with only a sidelong glance at oxide glasses.
