Book excerpt: "We hypothesize that the relationship between the three sub dimensions of entrepreneurial orientation (EO) and firm performance is moderated by trust in top management. Our results indicate that among the three dimensions of EO, trust in top management only moderates the dimensions of risk-taking and proactiveness in the EO-performance relationship. That is, when trust in top management is higher, the relationship between risk-taking and performance is stronger. A similar moderating relationship is found for proactiveness. We discuss theoretical and practical implications of the findings, and limitations that will help in furthering future research"--Authors' abstract.
