AUSSI, NOUS AVONS MIS AU POINT UN SYSTEME DE TRAITEMENT D'IMAGE AUTOUR D'UN ENVIRONNEMENT INFORMATIQUE TRES SOUPLE ET TRES CONVIVIAL, QUI ANALYSE DE FACON AUTOMATIQUE LES CONTOURS MYOCARDIQUES. NOTRE ALGORITHME FAIT APPEL AUX METHODES CORRELATIVES ET A LA PROGRAMMATION DYNAMIQUE TOUT EN AIDANT A LA DETERMINATION, PAR CONTROLE DES PARAMETRES PHYSIOLOGIQUES DE LA FONCTION VENTRICULAIRE GAUCHE, DES LIMITES MYOCARDIQUES RECHERCHEES. LES PERFORMANCES DE NOTRE ALGORITHME SONT SENSIBLEMENT SUPERIEURES A LA SEULE AUTRE METHODE D'ANALYSE AUTOMATIQUE DES CONTOURS DES STRUCTURES CARDIAQUES PAR TRAITEMENT D'IMAGE, LA METHODE DES MAXIMA LOCAUX DE KUWAHARA. EN OUTRE, NOUS AVONS MIS EN AVANT LE FAIT QUE L'ANALYSE AUTOMATIQUE DES CONTOURS MYOCARDIQUES DOIT AVOIR COMME PREMIER OBJECTIF A COURT TERME LA DETERMINATION DE LA MASSE MYOCARDIQUE. Download or read book The Pericardium written by Ralph Shabetai and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2012-12-06 with total page 361 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Many noteworthy advances in our knowledge of the pericardium, its functions and diseases and their relation to heart failure have been made since the first edition of this book appeared in 1981; and no other book that covers in detail the physiology and pathophysiology has since been published. The first edition was favourably received, and I have frequently been asked to write a new edition. My own knowledge in the years that have passed since then, and my clinical and research experience in the field of the subject have both increased. For all these reasons, I decided that the second edition was overdue. The long time that has elapsed between editions necessitated rewriting, rather than simply revising, most of the text. For the same reason, many of the figures are new. Most of the references I have cited appeared in the literature after 1981, but I have retained a number of earlier ones, either because they are classics or, in my opinion, have not yet been bettered. It is my hope that the new edition will be a useful resource for clinicians called upon to manage patients with pericardial disease and for physiologists when the pericardium is relevant to their investigations. I make no apology for the in-depth treatment of the pericardial physiology and pathophysiology throughout the book, for they are the foundation on which diagnosis, hemodynamic and imaging studies, and management must rest.

Book Decoding Cardiac Electrophysiology

Download or read book Decoding Cardiac Electrophysiology written by Afzal Sohaib and published by Springer Nature. This book was released on 2019-11-09 with total page 109 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book provides a concise overview of cardiac electrophysiology for cardiologists who are not electrophysiologists and for allied cardiovascular professionals, cardiology registrars and fellows who are new to the field. It familiarises them with the main procedures performed in the electrophysiology laboratory. Emphasis is placed on helping the reader develop a core understanding of how data is collected and interpreted in the electrophysiology laboratory, and how this is used to guide ablation for the commonest arrhythmias including AV nodal re-entry tachycardia, accessory pathways, atrial fibrillation and ventricular arrhythmias. Decoding Cardiac Electrophysiology: Understanding the Techniques and Defining the Jargon will translate some of the technical terminology and data frequently used by electrophysiologists into terms and concepts familiar to the wider cardiovascular community. This includes the interpretation of electrograms and 3D electro-anatomical maps of common arrhythmias. Accordingly, it offers a valuable resource for all non-electrophysiologists seeking a guide to the topic and for electrophysiology trainees establishing their core knowledge and skills in the field. The aim is that this should be the first book anyone new to the field should choose to read.
