Unconditional Love is a journey of a well-educated boy who became a doctor and an ambassador for the HIV prevention and human rights. All he wanted was love and solace, but because of his past, he only found lies and deceit from his numerous partners. They always blamed him for being abused. He claimed his sorrows and went into a world of silence. With time, his femininity blossomed into beautiful Arohi. His transgender avatar provided temporary relief, and she eventually found love and control of her destiny. As she tried to overcome the demons of her past, she was diagnosed with HIV. "Why did you give me all this pain my Lord," she prayed. "What wrong did I do? Where had I erred?" She went into depression and attempted suicide. Book Project Risk and Opportunity Management

Download or read book Project Risk and Opportunity Management written by Agnar Johansen and published by Routledge. This book was released on 2019-03-29 with total page 134 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Effective risk and opportunity management is key to the successful delivery of any major engineering and construction project. This book looks at how all those involved can manage risk and capitalise on the opportunities that uncertainty present. The authors of this book highlight that uncertainties should be managed rather than avoided. This book will look at simple projects with a small team, to megaprojects where some hundreds of people are involved, and the consequences of delays or unforeseen costs. However, while the obvious risks can be planned for, the authors argue that it is often the opportunities in these situations that can have unexploited potential. This book is about opportunity management seen from the owner’s perspective. It will be an invaluable resource for those studying Engineering both undergraduate and postgraduate and set out ways in which projects should be managed from planning to completion. This book is also a great tool for those working in project management and the construction industry. While there are many books that demonstrate effective construction management, this book is the first of its kind to emphasise that there is opportunity in uncertainty, and possibility in the unexpected.

Book Ordinary Egyptians

    Book Details:
  • Author : Ziad Fahmy
  • Publisher : Stanford University Press
  • Release : 2011-05-31
  • ISBN : 0804777748
  • Pages : 265 pages

Download or read book Ordinary Egyptians written by Ziad Fahmy and published by Stanford University Press. This book was released on 2011-05-31 with total page 265 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The popular culture of pre-revolution Egypt did more than entertain—it created a nation. Songs, jokes, and satire, comedic sketches, plays, and poetry, all provided an opportunity for discussion and debate about national identity and an outlet for resistance to British and elite authority. This book examines how, from the 1870s until the eve of the 1919 revolution, popular media and culture provided ordinary Egyptians with a framework to construct and negotiate a modern national identity. Ordinary Egyptians shifts the typical focus of study away from the intellectual elite to understand the rapid politicization of the growing literate middle classes and brings the semi-literate and illiterate urban masses more fully into the historical narrative. It introduces the concept of "media-capitalism," which expands the analysis of nationalism beyond print alone to incorporate audiovisual and performance media. It was through these various media that a collective camaraderie crossing class lines was formed and, as this book uncovers, an Egyptian national identity emerged.
