This thesis will study the history of development in Kansas City, Missouri, and create a traditional neighborhood development ordinance for the city using a model TND ordinance created by the architectural firm DPZ, headed by Andres Duany and Elizabeth Plater-Zyberk. In order for this form of development to take place in Kansas City, Missouri, the correct zoning must be in place.
