Book Best Stocks for 2019 Year End

Download or read book Best Stocks for 2019 Year End written by Tony Pow and published by . This book was released on 2019-12-17 with total page 230 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The objective of this book is simple: Improve your chance to make money in the stock market and nothing else especially for the year-end period in 2019. Even if you do not buy any stock recommended, you should be a better investor and entertained by the fillers. This book recommends the stocks for the year end of 2019 and there will be no upgrade on this book. It includes the list of stocks recommended. It also includes several books for evaluation stocks, market timing and technical analysis.-The stocks in my book "Best stocks for 2020" beats SPY (an ETF simulating the S&P500 and the stock market for most) by 45% in the first month. Though past performance has nothing to do with the future performance, it is a guidance. A best seller on the same topic LOST to the S&P500 index in the last two years in a row. Another best seller on market timing told us to leave the market in 2009. Ignore how popular these books are and how many degrees from prestigious colleges are. You care about performance and performance only.-It is the most cost effective to buy my stock research (about $20 for the paper version and $15 for the Kindle version). Compare it to the following: Hedge funds. Most hedge funds charge about 2% basic and 20% for performance. Some have restrictions to withdraw your investment. Many successful hedge funds are closed to new clients. If you include the closed funds, they are doing worse than the S&P500 index as a group after the hefty fees.Subscription services. If they are successful, the selected stocks would be widely traded and hence their prices are boosted up initially and they usually will fall later. How can you prevent the providers from buying them before you? I do the same but my readers are few and my small positions do not make even a small dent in moving up the stock prices. There are many tricks to boost their performances but few if any can achieve in actual trading. Check out whether they use real cash for their portfolio and I do. I do not have time to manipulate trade prices. -The advantages of this book.Besides the potential performance, you do not get stuck as in most subscriptions - you just do not buy my book in next year end. Even if you do not buy any stocks from my book, you should be a better investor from learning why I select the stocks. At least one subscription I know charge your credit card every month if you do not cancel it in time. It is in their fine print. Read the reviews on them before you send hard-earned money. One paid another $300 the next month or so that he thought it was a yearly subscription. Some dishonest outfits could use your credit card for their benefits. You do not have to give me your credit card number but to the trust worthy Amazon.com to order my book.-How I screen stocks.I follow the same screens that work last year. There are some modifications specific for the current year and hopefully they perform better. However, there is no guarantee. In general I follow the stocks screened by many services whose performances have been currently proven. Then I use another service to narrow down my selection. Lastly, I do my own selection using available information such as True EY (earnings yield after tax and interest), Insider Transactions... Fidelity's research is used. I am more flexible as they are short-term purchases.Hopefully this book will be beneficial to you. I recommend you to buy the book and verify the performance yourself before you commit with real money. Date: 12/17/2019Size: 225 pages (6*9)

Download or read book Best Stocks as of 06 28 2019 written by Tony Pow and published by Independently Published. This book was released on 2019-06-29 with total page 170 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: I would share my stock researching at a ridiculously low price. This book is the first of a series every month. I start with the next 12 months to see whether it is appealing to you. Every beginning of the month it will be a new book with the name such as "Best Stocks, as of 08/2019". It should be available in the beginning of the month. Check out the book announcement from my blog at https: //tonyp4idea.blogspot.com/. However, it is my initial test of this book series and there is no promise it will continue. My purpose is:1.Do not lose money.2.Be safe.3.Beat SPY (that simulates S&P 500 index).4.Make a bundle. Please write an unbiased comment and if possible indicate your return. My advertising budget is zero today and the sale of the next book in this series depends on your feedback. If there are not enough sales or the performance is bad, I will not continue to publish new books in this series.I have been making money for myself. The book profit may not pay off for my time. The stock selection is the result of many years of real investing and learning. I have a good track record. If the number of buyers are few, the chance of a good performance is high. I only care about performance as most likely I invest in most stocks in my book. One best seller told us to stay away from the market since 2009 and another best seller of recommending 100 stocks that did not beat the S&P500 index for the last two years. They are still best sellers. I wonder why. After a success of an investing book outlining the technique, it is no longer effective. Most successful subscriptions on recommending a few stocks are not successful after a huge following. Some subscriptions boost their performances by trading at the best prices for the day and most do not show you performance of a real account that I do.Buying investing service via a new book is hopefully beneficial to you. I recommend you to buy the book and verify the performance yourself before you commit with real money. Read the Disclaimer in this book as all investing are risky. You do not get stuck as in most subscriptions - you just do not buy my next book. At least one subscription I know charge your credit card every month if you do not cancel it in time. One paid another $300 the next month or so that he thought it was a yearly subscription. You do not have to give me a credit card number when you buy it from the trust worthy Amazon.com. Hence, it is the cheapest way to sell my research to you comparing what the subscriptions sell and the hedge funds charge. My purpose is to beat them by a good margin after their charges.Initial date: 06/28/2019Size: 165 pages (6*9)

Book The Little Book of Picking Top Stocks

Download or read book The Little Book of Picking Top Stocks written by Martin S. Fridson and published by John Wiley & Sons. This book was released on 2023-04-26 with total page 266 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: How well does it pay to own the Standard & Poor’s 500 Index’s best-performing stock of the year? Over the 2012-2021 period, the one-year total return ranged from 80% to 743%. This book identifies the quantitative and qualitative traits of stocks that made it to #1 and tells the stories of how they got there. A key indicator, the Fridson-Lee Statistic, makes its debut in these pages. Aiming for the massive upside of the #1 stocks entails substantial risk. It’s not something to do with more than a small percentage of your portfolio. But attempting to pick the coming year’s top performer can provide an outlet for speculative impulses that might otherwise spoil a prudent, long-term investment plan. And by investigating the statistically determined best candidates for #1, you’ll gain important insights into stock selection. The Little Book of Picking Top Stocks explains why conventional equity research provides only limited help in zeroing in on the index’s future top performer. Spotting the #1 stock isn’t Wall Street analysts’ focus, although the information they furnish about companies’ competitive strategies is quite helpful. Problematically, investment banks’ fundamental stock reports are structured around a valuation metric that was discredited nearly half a century ago—earnings per share. Author Martin Fridson’s previous writings on the stock market include the books It Was a Very Good Year and Investment Illusions, as well as articles such as “Ben Graham’s Value Approach: Can It Still Work?” He has received the CFA Society of New York’s Ben Graham Award and has been named the Financial Management Association International’s Financial Executive of the Year. The Green Magazine called his Financial Statement Analysis (co-authored with Fernando Alvarez) “one of the most useful investment books ever.”

How have some traders managed to significantly outperform a stock market that, until recently, moved virtually straight up? This book will feature interviews with those traders who achieved phenomenal success, from an Ohio farmer who has constantly made triple-digit returns, to a Turkish emigre who transformed a $16000 account into $6 million, to spectacularly successful professional hedge-fund managers such as Michael Lancer of the Lancer Group and Michael Masters of Capital Management. Today, the action is on the stock market. This book will be a must-have for that sector, as well as for the legions of individuals who eagerly bought Market Wizards.

Book The Man Who Solved the Market

Download or read book The Man Who Solved the Market written by Gregory Zuckerman and published by Penguin. This book was released on 2019-11-05 with total page 401 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER Shortlisted for the Financial Times/McKinsey Business Book of the Year Award The unbelievable story of a secretive mathematician who pioneered the era of the algorithm--and made $23 billion doing it. Jim Simons is the greatest money maker in modern financial history. No other investor--Warren Buffett, Peter Lynch, Ray Dalio, Steve Cohen, or George Soros--can touch his record. Since 1988, Renaissance's signature Medallion fund has generated average annual returns of 66 percent. The firm has earned profits of more than $100 billion; Simons is worth twenty-three billion dollars. Drawing on unprecedented access to Simons and dozens of current and former employees, Zuckerman, a veteran Wall Street Journal investigative reporter, tells the gripping story of how a world-class mathematician and former code breaker mastered the market. Simons pioneered a data-driven, algorithmic approach that's sweeping the world. As Renaissance became a market force, its executives began influencing the world beyond finance. Simons became a major figure in scientific research, education, and liberal politics. Senior executive Robert Mercer is more responsible than anyone else for the Trump presidency, placing Steve Bannon in the campaign and funding Trump's victorious 2016 effort. Mercer also impacted the campaign behind Brexit. The Man Who Solved the Market is a portrait of a modern-day Midas who remade markets in his own image, but failed to anticipate how his success would impact his firm and his country. It's also a story of what Simons's revolution means for the rest of us.
