Download or read book tica ciudadan a y democracia written by Martín Johani Urquijo Angarita and published by Universidad del Valle. This book was released on 2011-04-08 with total page 142 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Download or read book Moral Neuroeducation for a Democratic and Pluralistic Society written by Patrici Calvo and published by Springer Nature. This book was released on 2020-01-27 with total page 239 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book brings together a group of top scholars on ethics and moral neuroeducation to cover the specific field of moral learning. Although there are many studies on neural bases of human learning and the application processes in different fields of human activity, such as education, economics or politics, very few of them have delved into the specific field of moral learning. This book brings forward a discursive and cordial ethical concept suitable for the theoretical-practical development of moral neuroeducation, as well as a set of guidelines for the design of an educational model that, based on moral neuroeducation, contributes to the resolution of social problems and the eradication of undesirable patterns and behaviors such as hate speech, corruption, intolerance, nepotism, aporophobia or xenophobia. Furthermore it contains a management approach for the application of this educational model to the different areas of activity involved in social and human development. A must read for students, educators and researchers in the field of moral philosophy, (applied) ethics ethics and any other discipline working with reciprocity (economics, politics, health, etc.).

This collection offers a further refinement of what typically comes under the remit of service-learning, switching the focus from the learning experience of the learner, to the educator and the deep and enriching professional learning opportunities that service-learning can offer. Download or read book Controversies in Latin American Bioethics written by Eduardo Rivera-López and published by Springer. This book was released on 2019-06-19 with total page 244 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book offers a first rate selection of academic articles on Latin American bioethics. It covers different issues, such as vulnerability, abortion, biomedical research with human subjects, environment, exploitation, commodification, reproductive medicine, among others. Latin American bioethics has been, to an important extent, parochial and unable to meet stringent international standards of rational philosophical discussion. The new generations of bioethicists are changing this situation, and this book demonstrates that change. All articles are written from the perspective of Latin American scholars from several disciplines such as philosophy and law. Working with the tools of analytical philosophy and jurisprudence, this book defends views with rational argument, and opening for pluralistic discussion.
