Book Might Is Right Or Survival of the Fittest

Download or read book Might Is Right Or Survival of the Fittest written by Ragnar Redbeard and published by Createspace Independent Pub. This book was released on 2014-07-12 with total page 146 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This is unabridged, original text of this infamous book. Might Is Right, or The Survival of the Fittest, is a book by pseudonymous author Ragnar Redbeard. First published in 1890, it heavily advocates social Darwinism, amoralism, and psychological hedonism. In Might is Right, Redbeard rejects conventional ideas of human and natural rights and argues that only strength or physical might can establish moral right (la Callicles). Libertarian historian James J. Martin called it "surely one of the most incendiary works ever to be published anywhere." Leo Tolstoy discussed the philosophy of Might Is Right in his 1897 essay What Is Art?: "The substance of this book, as it is expressed in the editor's preface, is that to measure "right" by the false philosophy of the Hebrew prophets and "weepful" Messiahs is madness. Right is not the offspring of doctrine, but of power. All laws, commandments, or doctrines as to not doing to another what you do not wish done to you, have no inherent authority whatever, but receive it only from the club, the gallows, and the sword. A man truly free is under no obligation to obey any injunction, human or divine. Obedience is the sign of the degenerate. Disobedience is the stamp of the hero. Men should not be bound by moral rules invented by their foes. The whole world is a slippery battlefield. Ideal justice demands that the vanquished should be exploited, emasculated, and scorned. The free and brave may seize the world. And, therefore, there should be eternal war for life, for land, for love, for women, for power, and for gold. The earth and its treasures is "booty for the bold." The author has evidently by himself, independently of Nietzsche, come to the same conclusions which are professed by the new artists."

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Stunning articles about the labor movement, unpublished poetry, and historic Maori translations. Caricature depictions accompanied by writings which caused its author to be accused of plagiarism. In June 1890 Arthur Desmond got his article "Christ as a Social Reformer," published in "Zealandia," a Dunedin magazine. The article quickly became popular and in October he arranged for it to be printed as a pamphlet by Mr. Arthur Cleave, of Vulcan lane. Presented here for the first time since then is Arthur Desmond's accused article followed by Mr. Van Deusen's article "Ecclesiastical Christianity versus Jesus." "Writings in Red" is a collection of Desmond's writings, poetry, and correspondence. All his published works in Zealandia. His Union and strike articles. Critiques and controversy between the years 1889-1891. "The author treats the subject in a style that is new to many in this city. He looks upon Christ as a great Hebrew Reformer, who was murdered because he upheld and defended the cause of the poor. The Tribune recommends this pamphlet to its readers." -The Tribune From the Contents: The King That Is To Come The Starving Poor Of Old England Shearing The Shareholders Political Manifesto Of United Labour Who Pays For All? New Zealander Arthur Desmond, (1859-1929) was a poet, author, unionist, and agitator. He was an unconventional and radical political activist who fought hard for the worker's rights. Mackie, Ragnar RedBeard, Peter Sjsstedt H and interweaves them into a meta ethical tapestry that is a liberating brutally honest red pill. Mixing non cognitivism, error theory, with projectivism, Stillwell puts forth a kind of moral nihilism (Power-Nihilism) that dispenses with both secular and theistic forms of moral realism. In the final chapter James articulates his qualified form of political nihilism and critiques such concepts as ""Natural law"" and ""Natural Rights"" along with a few other pivotal concepts within political theory. This book also covers such topics as the will to power, slave morality, bad conscience, the on going destruction of Western civilization, radical individualism, collectivism, egalitarianism, hierarchy and much more...

Download or read book The Gospel of Power Egoist Essays by Dora Marsden Egoist Essays by written by Dora Marsden and published by . This book was released on 2021-03-05 with total page 390 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Essays by Dora Marsden (1882 - 1960) from her journal "The Egoist." Introduction, annotations, glossary and index by Trevor Blake, author of "Dora Marsden Bibliography." Read the Gospel of Power... "What a blight it is on life, to be sure, that honest speech is almost non-existent. Lo and behold, all are alike: the secret sin against the spirit of peace is universal, and can be proclaimed from the housetops. The 'poor' man is the one who lacks the power to get what he wants. If he had had the 'might, ' the 'competence' to cover the wide expanse of these 'rights, ' he would not be in the position of a beggar asking for the favour of a job from a master: he would have set about being his own master: the one thing which to this day the ordinary wage earner steadily refuses to be. 'Reformers' have tried to get a comprehensive view of the 'world's work'-which does not exist save in their own imagination-and they have come to neglect and hold lightly work viewed from its only real aspect-the personal satisfying of needs and wants as they rise up spontaneously from each varying individual. Social rebels will get no way until they acquiesce willingly in men and women being what they are: accept their oddities and wayward differences and then make the best and most of them to serve their individual ends."
