In about 1774 he married Lucretia Ransom (1756-1836). She was the daughter of Peleg Ransom (1724-1807) and Sarah Rogers, and was born in Colchester, Connecticut. They later settled in Ontario, Canada. Descendants lived in New York, Connecticut, Michigan and other parts of the United States.
