Book The Veil A Journey to the Other Side

Download or read book The Veil A Journey to the Other Side written by J.E. Fisher and published by Writers Republic LLC. This book was released on 2023-09-22 with total page 140 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: When we see the truth, we know there is nothing in our lives more valuable than people and love. We are at another time in our history, in this life, that important adjustments should be considered. When we think about historical conversations about Noah and others, we have an obligation to understand how we arrived at a point in time that the creator decided to reset most of human life. The legitimacy of the Ark has been qualified and quantified by scholars and scientists alike. This book, through the eyes of a traveler beyond the veil, captures the essences of truth and purpose. I suggest the reader look inward, beyond prejudice, judgment and what they have been told and seek truth from the soul. This writing walks through the veil that separates God from the creation. The reader will explore the illusion of separation and how it would be required, for an infinite being, to learn of itself. The core purpose of this book is to wake up your soul. God speaks to us through our soul, and we can hear his voice in us. I would love to hear from you about anything, and of course about my writings. www.thejourneygs.com

Book Nurturing Journey s from Both Sides of the Veil

Download or read book Nurturing Journey s from Both Sides of the Veil written by Virginia Ozue Seibert and published by Dog Ear Publishing. This book was released on 2009-11 with total page 254 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: THIS SIDE OF THE VEIL SEIBERT'S CAFE Arthur owned a cafe in LaGrange, Texas. He is a successful business man in a small German town in the Fifties, but life is never simple. OUR BLESSING Our sweet baby was greatly desired. We took her home full of happiness and love. What happened along the way changed my outlook on life forever. NO MORE SECRETS Mother's hip was shattered. A "Strong" woman, she saw beauty everywhere. She waved, but was it "Hello" or "Goodbye?" THE OTHER SIDE OF THE VEIL RUTH AND MARGARET, Their Shared Journal of Secrets Two sisters from Ireland came to America. They share their secrets from 1836 forward; secrets, dark and shameful. They never lost sight of what kept them together. JOHN'S TESTIMONY Born a slave, John embarked on a journey to freedom while trying to stay true to himself. Did he succeed? Take his trip. Whether you believe in Heavenly Father, Christ, the Gifts of the Holy Ghost, the Oneness, or Spirit, we are all traveling a bumpy road in this life. This road is rife with pot holes, unmarked curves, and mirages. How we perceive the value of the obstacles along the way makes us who we are. Be mindful for the personality, memories, and love that we share with others on this side of the veil goes with us when we travel to the other side. Some of the paths in this book reflect the journeys on this earth plane; while others reflect the recollections and life lessons as told by spirits from the other side. Notice if you see yourself. My hope is that that you will identify and reflect upon your own personal journeys as you get to know Arthur, Ozue and her mother, and Beloved Mother and Granny, From This side of the veil, and Ruth, Margaret and John From The Other Side who have so much to share with you. All of us have a path that is uniquely ours, but paths cross, and it is up to us individually what we choose to collect as souvenirs from those intersections. This book is a caution light? Stop or Go? Hope or Despair? It's up to you.Which will you take Home with you? Virginia Ozue Seibert was born in Houston, Texas and received her nursing degree in 1986. A psychiatric nurse for many years, she knows the value of journaling and introspection. She has long written stories of her family from this side of the veil as a record for her children and grandchildren. Recently a near death experience reminded her of the close connection between both sides of the veil. Since then she has been on a quest, a journey if you will, to rediscover the innate intuitive well inside her. This book is a result of loved ones from both sides of the veil sharing hope and love. Now retired, Ginger, as she is known by family and friends, travels between Colorado and Florida writing about and exploring truths both seen and unseen."

Book Journey through Exodus

  • Author : Mike Newberry

  • Release : 2023-03-27

  • Pages : 506 pages

Download or read book Journey through Exodus written by Mike Newberry and published by Christian Faith Publishing, Inc.. This book was released on 2023-03-27 with total page 506 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In my years of studying the Bible, I have found several spiritual principles to be very appealing. I have read the promises about the possibility of being an overcomer. In the seven letters of Revelation 2 and 3, one reoccurring thing is the promises to the overcomers. If one thinks about it, you can either be an overcomer or be overcome. The choice is easy: I would rather be an overcomer. I have read the verses about the possibility of living life daily aided by heavenly wisdom. Listen to James 1:5: “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that gives to all men liberally, and upbraids not; and it shall be given him.” I have often asked the church, “On any given day, how often do we need the wisdom to make decisions and find needed direction?” To answer that question with “one hundred” would be conservative. To add to wisdom, we are told that we can tap into the heavenly supplies of strength, energy, power, and patience. According to James 1:5, God’s not going to fuss at you if you keep coming back again and again asking for more. The key to these and all the promises of the Bible are found in the discipline of a daily quiet time. When I was in college, with God’s help, I developed this discipline to attribute any spiritual success, any success, in my Christian life to the help I have found in this daily time with God and my Bible. To remove any excuses, I have written devotionals for my church. We have started in chapter 1, verse 1, of a book in the Bible and have worked our way through it. We have covered Genesis, Exodus, Philippians, and Leviticus, to mention a few; and as long as God gives me strength, we will continue. The pages in this book contain our thoughts and our understanding of our journey through Exodus.

Book Other Side of the Edge

Download or read book Other Side of the Edge written by Sumina Sharma and published by Notion Press. This book was released on 2022-01-18 with total page 145 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A fictional story of Northwestern Himalayas – Small villages – A girl, her upbringing and culture with a combination of ancient and a bit of modernity. Along with tossing and turning experiences –– Stories composed ‘Around the Corner of Saroi’—A place where life is imagined as another world, exactly just at the end corner of the universe. A mixed memoir of personal and paternal life experiences – Description of cherished moments encountered in a joint family house called ‘Chowki House.’ While everyone is sitting on the patio, in the deep dark snowy and wintery nights, having endless gossiping sessions, in the open, close to a bonfire called angheetha in the local dialect and ‘brazier’ in today’s world. Though this narrative is totally fictional, the gist is inspired through the experiences of our forefathers and the narration of a particular community of that age that undoubtedly existed around that time. Highlighted the myths and misbeliefs that had prevailed over the period, carried on from generation to generation. Despite some of them being proved as having scientific notions behind them. While some had been in practice to keep family and community on the right track into closely knitted societal bonds. Otherwise, they have no meaning. However, “Other side of the Edge ” is not just about the pain and pleasure our forefathers' generations experienced in the olden days. It’s about the precious human values shared as a part of society that refused to be ignored. Where ‘family gathering’ was the one and only source of entertainment for extended families. To discuss, share their past and present experiences, and stand up together to prepare the best for the future of those they care about and want to have around them. Where bonding with relatives was meant to show ‘respect’ without being self-centred, rather than a gesture of formality. From my writing, I attempted to pen down those glimpses heard through the mouth of forefathers, and some of them sighted in childhood. Yet, perhaps there might be times I would not have understood precisely what the message meant during those tender years of childhood.

Book Through the System s Veil A LitRPG Journey

Download or read book Through the System s Veil A LitRPG Journey written by Steven Walryn and published by Silver Starz. This book was released on 2023-03-30 with total page 159 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: While out for a run in the middle of the street, the sky began to darken. It rained like crazy, exactly as my head was spinning. Then, a bright light shone from behind me, bathing me in illumination. When I inched closer, I could see that the light had formed a holographic image of a human person. Welcome to Arcadia," the statue greeted. Then my vision blurred, and I blacked out. ‎ A sudden, jarring sound jolted me awake. As I opened my eyes, I saw that I was surrounded by trees. It's like, "What the heck is going on?! "I yelled. Then, a display appeared in front of me: ‎ JAMES Level: 1‎ EXP: 21‎ Brawn: 15‎ Agility: 16‎ Intellect: 20‎ Willpower: 21‎ Presence: 22‎ Gift: undefined Skills: Undefined Luck: undefined You may as well ask, "What the hell is this? To which I respond, "How did I get here?" "I yelled. As I got to my feet, I saw that the only weapon I had was a short knife. When I glanced about for an alternative, I saw only dirt and leaves. As I went to leave the area I was in, I stumbled on a log and fell. During my fall, my face made contact with the earth. I cautiously got out of bed and massaged my nose. I was in excruciating pain. I could feel blood flowing from my nose. My mouth formed the words "what the hell" as I scratched my nose loudly. Sounds of rustling approached me from behind. I whirled around swiftly but saw nothing. I proceeded on till I tripped over yet another log. After falling this time, I felt discomfort in both of my knees. To calm myself, I sat down and placed my hands on my knees. They, too, were bleeding heavily. As in, "What the heck is going on with me?! I yelled out, but no one seemed to hear me. I could hear myself calling from all across the woods. After a brief pause, I heard the sound of approaching footsteps. When I raised my head, I saw an elf towering over me, brandishing a sword. He aimed it towards me and shouted, "You are not allowed to be here." I asked, "What do you mean?" Who are you, by the way?" A sigh escaped him and he introduced himself as Krad. ‎ ‎" "The reason I'm here is... Where am I, exactly?" Once again, I enquired. There are woodlands around the city of Arcadia. The man spoke out. I enquired, "What exactly is this place?"

Book Halal Monk A Christian on a Journey through Islam

Download or read book Halal Monk A Christian on a Journey through Islam written by Jonas Yunus Atlas and published by Yunus Publishing. This book was released on 2015-04-21 with total page 284 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: To acquaint himself with the soul of Islam J.Y. Atlas had openhearted conversations with influential Muslim scholars and artists. From Jakarta to New York and from London to Lahore, this Christian theologian met with imams and Sufis, academics and feminists, punkers and poets. The result is a book full of novel insights that will help us to transcend today's cultural and religious impasses. Attempts of interfaith dialogue often stay away from the more difficult issues and remain somewhat superficial. With his 'Halal Monk' journey, Atlas wanted to go further. He wanted to get to the root of our current tensions. This book collects his most fascinating dialogues at the intersection of culture, society and religion. In between those conversations, some extra light is shed on key concepts of the Islamic tradition and their relevance for today's debates. Topics as diverse as quranic exegesis, islamic mysticism and islamic feminism are all treated in a nuanced manner. Difficult subjects like islamic fundamentalism and jihad, aren't circumvented but placed within their context and clarified. Aspects of the islamic faith like sharia and ijtihad are explained and juxtaposed with the Christian tradition. 'Halal Monk: A Christian on a Journey through Islam' is one of the most insightful and honest books on Muslim culture, spirituality and theology. A must read for anyone who wants to have a better grasp of the place of islam in the modern world. * Endorsements and reviews * “We need many more books like this one. The reader emerges from this study with a real and fresh grasp of a tradition that is in movement, in dialogue with itself and so in transition.” – Rowan Williams, former Archbishop of Canterbury. "The interviews and reflections in this book offer sensitive, clear and extremely interesting insights into Islam and Islamic thought. The opportunity to 'listen in' on the author's conversations is a distinct privilege." – Marie Dennis, co-president of Pax Christi International. "The book could not have been written any better by a Muslim - but then it is important that it was written by an upright, self-critical Christian. I will make the book a must-read for my students, both religious and non-religious." – Shaykh Bashir Ahmad Dultz, founding president and shaykh of the German Muslim League. "Profound understanding among Muslims and Christians is critical for civil health of the 21st century, and this book points in a promising direction." – Rev. William E. Swing, Founder of URI and Former Episcopal Bisshop of California. “Jonas succeeds in his quest to find common ground.” – John Marks, Founder & Senior Advisor, Search for Common Ground.
