Book THE VEDIC BIG BANG c A New Cosmology Scenario Revealed in the Ancient Veda Mantras of India

Download or read book THE VEDIC BIG BANG c A New Cosmology Scenario Revealed in the Ancient Veda Mantras of India written by Shiv R. Pal and published by . This book was released on 2019-11-18 with total page 346 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: AN AMAZING BOOK ON ANCIENT COSMOLOGY WITH PHYSICS DISCIPLINE THE VEDIC BIG BANG (c) A New Cosmology Scenario Revealed in the Ancient Veda Mantras of India 1. Could there be another rational cosmology theory elsewhere in another civilization before the modern Big Bang hypothesis was conceived by Georges-Henri Lemaitre in 1927 CE? Yes there is, with 'chapter-and-verse' in mantra formulations of the Vedas, the ancient "books of knowledge" of the Aryans (Hindus) of India. 2. Professor Carl Sagan once recited the English translation of a Veda mantra and remarked, "Most sophisticated ancient cosmological ideas came from India". This book validates his deduction. 3. The reader will be delighted to witness the fascinating ancient, previously unheard of, processes and objects of cosmology/physics. The Vedic advent of the universe is with a vitatah (impetuous expansion) in the primordial Nature (matter) in the shape of a Golden-ovate at extreme high temperatures and in paryaplav (rotation in floatation) for a prescribed period of one deva-yuga measuring 4.32 million years (RigVeda, 10/72/9, Shatpath Brahmana, 11/1/6/1, 2). The fragments of the Golden-ovate form the cosmos. This is THE VEDIC BIG BANG! 4. The book is critical of the modern Big Bang Hypothesis that all matter of the universe, 1060 kg (60 zeros after 1), came "out of nothing" - the dimensionless "space-time singularity". In contrast the ancient sage Kapil, in his Saankhya Philosophy stated नावस्तुनो वस्तुसिध्दि (Naavastuno vastusiddhi), meaning - "Nothingness cannot be the cause of something" (1/43) and a Vedic dictum states: "What is being created cannot be a cause of itself". 5. The statements of Professor Hawking and his co-author Professor Mlodinow that "Universe can and will create itself from nothing" and "... You can have nothingness in quantum theory. But from that, things will arise" violate Nature's all-pervading law of "cause-and-effect". In the advent of the cyclic Vedic universe the pre-existent indefinable Asata-state of matter transits into the definable Sata-state of matter (RigVeda, 10/129/1), with all matter accounted for. 6. In the Vedic Big Bang the rotating golden-ovate creates a rotating universe with the centrifugal force pointing outwards causing the expansion of the universe. 7. The "Expanding Universe" is a Vedic discovery from eons ago (RigVeda, 10/56/5), which is elucidated in this book entitled - "The Vedic Big Bang". No hypothetical "Dark Energy" or the hypothetical "Cosmic Inflation" of the modern BIG BANG Hypothesis is necessary.8. In easy to understand English the author interprets the relevant mantras in Sanskrit language, explaining within the physics perspective the rotating universe with centrifugal force pointing outwards against the force of gravity, causing the universe to expand.

Book The Cosmology of the Bh gavata Pur a

Download or read book The Cosmology of the Bh gavata Pur a written by Richard L. Thompson and published by Motilal Banarsidass Publishe. This book was released on 2007 with total page 378 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: From the flat earth to the sun`s chariot traditional spiritual texts seem wedded to outmoded cosmologies that show, at best, the scientific limitations of their authors. The Bhagavata Purana, one of the classical scriptures of Hinduism, seems, at first glance, to be no exception. However, a closer examination of this text reveals unexpected depths of knowledge in ancient cosmology. This shows that the cosmology of the Bhagavata Purana is a sophisticated system, with multiple levels of meaning that encode at least four different astronomical, geographical, and spiritual world models. By viewing the text in the light of modern astronomy, Richard Thompson shows how ancient scientists expressed exact knowledge in apparently mythological terms. Comparison with the ancient traditions of Egypt and the Near East shows early cultural connections between India and these regions including a surprisingly advanced science. However, quantitative science is only part of the picture. This work also offers a clear understanding of how the spiritual dimension was integrated into ancient Indian cosmology. Contents Introduction to Bhagavata Cosmology, 1. Introduction to Texts, 2. The Islands and Oceans of Bhu-mandala, 3. The Solar System in Projection, 4. The Solar system in three Dimensions, 5. Book excerpt: We are situated in the fifty-first Brahma year of the existence of our Brahma.Inside that Brahma year, we are in the primary Brahma day, called the Varaha Kalpa.Inside that Brahma day, we are in the seventh manvantara and in the 28th maha yuga of that manvantara. This would put us at about the 454th maha yuga of the 1,000 maha yugas that include this day of Brahma.Inside this maha yuga, we are in Kali Yuga. The 5100th year of Kali Yuga will relate to the year 2,000 A.D. That implies that we are genuinely right off the bat in Kali Yuga, and this age will proceed with more than 426,000 additional years.Variation Interpretations of Hindu ChronologyThe "Customary Puranic Model" portrayed above is settled upon by most creators on Hinduism and Yoga. Six distinct creators, recorded toward the finish of this paper, represent this model indistinguishably.A few different creators, some of the notable Hindu instructors, have distributed portrayals of the pattern of ages that vary from the conventional Puranic model. These variation hypotheses are depicted beneath.

Book Vedic Cosmography and Astronomy

Download or read book Vedic Cosmography and Astronomy written by Richard L. Thompson and published by Motilal Banarsidass Publ.. This book was released on 2004 with total page 256 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The mysteries of the fifth Canto of the Srimad Bhagavatam have long puzzled students of Vedic cosmography and astronomy. Confronted with a description of the universe that seems much at variance with the information provided by our senses and standard astronomical calculations, foreign observers and even Indian commentators from the middle ages up to the present have concluded that the Bhagavatam`s account elaborated in other Puranas must be mythological. On the other hand the same persons have been much impressed with vedic astronomical treatises the jyotisasastras which provide remarkably accurate measurements of the solar system.

Book Vedic Concept of Creation of Universe

Download or read book Vedic Concept of Creation of Universe written by Vishnu Kant Verma and published by . This book was released on 2008-01-01 with total page 300 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Rig Veda is foremost among the four Vedas, considered to be one of the oldest texts known to mankind. For centuries Vedas are not only revered but are considered by many as treasure house of knowledge & wisdom. All ancient branches of Indian philosophy be it Brahman Granthas, Upanishad or Bhagwad Gita drew their inspiration from the Vedas. The universe of which our entire human existence is but a tiny part, could not have escaped the attention of those learned seers. Delving into the question of creation of the universe and how it all might have happened is not only one of most ancient inquisitiveness which has captured the imagination of human mind but also most logical outcome of human curiosity. It is therefore almost a certainty that Vedas have explored this most fascinating aspect of our existence and have propounded a comprehensive concept on its creation. What that concept is? How do the most revered texts explain the evolution of the universe? What are their views on the issue? These are definitely the questions which must have crossed the minds of all those connected with the study of philosophy specifically Indian philosophy. This book addresses these questions. The author has comprehensively established Rig Vedic concept on the evolution of creation. Interpretations of hymns have been based on Vedic grammar & roots of the words and are well supported by other subordinate texts such as Brahman Granths, Upanishads and others. Interrelations of hymns with continuum of central underlying thoughts contained in suklas have been decisively revealed in the book. The book brings out a complete technical terminology of Vedas related to cosmogony. The connoted meaning of such terms as Aditi, Apah, Hiranyagarbha, Apam Napat,Mitra, Varun and many more have been unveiled and established. The book makes an enthralling reading casting magical spell. Inquisitive minded reader will find it difficult to put down the book once he starts the reading.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The present volume on Vedic Physics by Keshav Dev Verma is indeed a unique attempt to interpret the ancient Indian literature by defining various symbols, concepts and terminology occurring in Vedic hymns and other texts. While accepting Maharsi Dayananda's view that Vedas are the repository of all true sciences, the author does examine this statement with a view to test it on the hard rock of truth. Shri Verma has selected the Sankhya-Patanjala system that explains the physical world (Universe) on the basis of Cosmic evolution; the Vaisesika-Nyaya expounds the methodology and elaborates the concepts of physics, chemistry and mechanics. Shri Verma has very systematically tried to interpret the Sankhya aphorisms and concludes that the ultimate ground to which the manifested world can be traced is Prakrti having three attributes-Sattva (existence), energy at rest or Rajas (energy that which is efficient in a phenomenon and is characterised by a tendency to move and overcome any resistance) and Tamas (mass or inertia) which resists the Rajas to do work and also resists Sattva from conscious manifestation.

Book excerpt: The ?igveda is the first book of humankind and the most sacred scripture of Hinduism. It also happens to be the most ill-understood book of our times. Despite the extensive study by academic and religious scholars, the purpose and meaning of the ?igveda and many ancient Hindu scriptures remain unclear. In this pathbreaking book, the discovery of the ?igveda as a book of ancient cosmology is described, and related to the seals of ancient Indus Valley Civilization, thereby challenging our perception of humanity."The Vedas have always been lauded as containing the secrets of cosmogenesis. Raja Roy in his remarkable book shows how this is true not only from the yogic vison but according to the latest insights of modern physics. The book takes the reader on a vast panoramic journey through the universe of matter, mind and human history as well."David Frawley (Vamadeva Shastri), Director, American Institute of Vedic Studies"Roy presents a new framework for the understanding of the Vedic hymns from the point of view of physics and then he draws parallels with recent theories on the nature of the universe. We celebrate the new path he has hewn through the bush of old scholarship."Professor Subhash Kak, Oklahoma State University

Download or read book Modern Astronomy in Rig Veda written by Mahendra Dave and published by CreateSpace. This book was released on 2015-05-20 with total page 180 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Rig Veda is Modern Astronomy. It describes the Eternity in terms of the evolution of our Sun in a cyclic period called Mahaa Kaala from the proto-star stage and back to its present stage as part of the "CONCEPT OF ETERNITY IN SANAATANA DHARMA" The Hindu cosmology and timeline is the closest to modern scientific timelines[1] and even more which might indicate that the Big Bang is not the beginning of everything, but just the start of the present cycle preceded by an infinite number of universes and to be followed by another infinite number of universes that will be followed by yet another infinite number of universes. Rig Veda is far more advanced then Modern Astronomy because it uses Intelligent Design of Vishnu for the unification of all object with one - another. Most of us are aware that fire-lamps form an integral part of Hindu rituals. We see fire being offered to the deity at prayer time; oblations being put in the sacrificial fire of a Yagna; the seven promises of a marriage ceremony being made circum-ambulating the witness fire; diyas being lit for Diwali and so on... Rig-Veda, places Agni second only to Indra in importance and we find 1/5th of Rig Vedic Hymns dedicated to the Fire-god! In fact, the very 1st verse of the Rig-Veda is dedicated to Agni: Agni I laud, the High-priest, Invoker, Minister of Sacrifice, Deva and Bestower of Wealth
