Book The Unified Theory of the Universe and Everything

Download or read book The Unified Theory of the Universe and Everything written by Frank Barlow and published by Strategic Book Publishing. This book was released on 2011-03-01 with total page 61 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Inspired by Albert Einstein, Frank Barlow has been writing technical articles for over thirty years. He answers some age-old questions in his new book The Unified Theory of the Universe and Everything; tackling questions that have been asked about the universe, life, the smallest particle, and the end of time, all are answered from a layman's perspective, using simple observations and a few revolutionary theories.Barlow asks: How did matter form? How have we and the galaxies evolved? Why is the universe expanding? When will it all end? Who are we and where do we fit in the big picture? He asserts that his statements and observations are all logically substantiated. His motivation came from a sudden realization of why the universe was expanding and everything within it. The same theory seemed to answer many additional questions about how the smallest possible particle could exist. He also answers questions that have been puzzling scientists, such as the dual nature of light, the nature of the universe, time, and even questions regarding our own thought process.Barlow says, "Everyone seems to have noticed that time is passing very quickly these days, weeks and months just seem to fly by." The book offers an explanation for this speeding up of time and its ultimate conclusion. The Unified Theory of the Universe will open your eyes and answer your questions.

Book The Illustrated Theory of Everything

Download or read book The Illustrated Theory of Everything written by Stephen W. Hawking and published by Phoenix Books. This book was released on 2011-05-03 with total page 192 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Stephen W. Hawking, widely believed to have been one of be one of the world’s greatest minds, presents a series of seven lectures— covering everything from big bang to black holes to string theory—. These lectures not only capture the brilliance of Hawking’'s mind, but his characteristic wit as well. In The Illustrated Theory of Everything, Hawking begins with a history of ideas about the universe, from Aristotle’s determination that the Earth is round to Hubble’s discovery, more than 2,000 years later, that the universe is expanding. Using that as a launching pad, he explores the reaches of modern physics, including theories on the origin of the universe (e.g., the Big Bang), the nature of black holes, and space-time. Finally, he poses the questions left unanswered by modern physics, especially how to combine all the partial theories into a “unified theory of everything.” “If we find the answer to that,” he claims, “it would be the ultimate triumph of human reason.” A great popularizer of science as well as a brilliant scientist, Hawking believes that advances in theoretical science should be “understandable in broad principle by everyone, not just a few scientists.” In this book, he offers a fascinating voyage of discovery about the cosmos and our place in it. It is a book for anyone who has ever gazed at the night sky and wondered what was up there and how it came to be.

Book The Grand Unified Theory

Download or read book The Grand Unified Theory written by Chaul Ryu and published by Publish America. This book was released on 2004 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Grand Unified Theory is the unification theory of the four fundamental forces of nature (gravity, electromagnetism, strong nuclear force, and weak nuclear force). It is through the interactions between these four forces of nature that everything in our universe is created, including our DNA and the cells that compose our body. Einstein spent much of the later part of his life trying to unify these forces, but without success. The grand unified theory is also called the theory of everything, because it is supposed to answer many fundamental questions about our universe. The questions such as, why does our universe exist? Why is our universe composed of three-dimensional space and not five or six? What is energy? Why is there conscious life in our universe? What is the function of life in the universal order?

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: To tell the conclusions first, the present theory represents the final unification theory on the universe dimensions although it may not be understood instantly, represents the truth of the universe in parallel with the superstring theory and the M theory and is the blueprint of the Universe that assumes a major pillar of the Grand Unified Theory (GUT). The present theory allows the human being to have the entire image of the Universe, can explain any and all problems of physics that have remained unsolved to date, clarifies the dimension structures of the Universe, and is coherent and unique beyond comparison. Furthermore, the present theory demonstrates its consistency with the superstring theory and the M theory by simply assuming the 5th or greater dimensions in such a manner to meet the definitions and conditions of the conventional 4th or lower dimensions while considering the universe dimensions as the entropy-expanding receptacle. In addition to these benefits, the present theory can provide discrepancy-free, coherent, theoretical explanations for a diversity of unsolved problems of cosmophysics (e.g., the Big Bang inflation model, the membrane universe theory, black hole spacetime, dark matter, dark energy, compatibility of the particle and wave natures of quanta, infinite superimposition of time reversal spacetime and antimatter, all field theories, conditions for existence of elementary particles in the dimensions, the GUT of matters and force, and others). I consider that the further introduction of "The Unified Theory of the Universe Dimensions" and "The Unified Dimension Elementary Particles Theory" will provide coherent explanations for sorts of conventional unsolved problems of cosmophysics. The final conclusions of this series of articles are the following: 1) golden symmetry exists in the 0th to 10th dimensions of the universe; 2) the universe vacuum originally consisted of 10th dimension; and 3) our cosmos exists in the 4th dimension in which the 7th to 10th dimensions in forward direction are superimposed infinitely while being influenced by the graviton of the 10th dimension. The universe that is observed or calculated from the 4th dimension produces the biased view of dimensions for the phenomena of five or greater dimensions because dimensional complementation occurs. Namely, we observe, through the window of the 4th dimensional spacetime, elementary particles in the 7th to 10th dimensions that have coexisted from the beginning. Cosmophysics in the future will need to discuss five or greater dimensions by stratum. The present theory is the final unification theory on the universe dimensions, is in parallel with the superstring theory and the M theory, and constitutes a major pillar of the GUT. Rather, the present theory constitutes the GUT and contains a number of the rules and theorems of everything that may cause the paradigm shift in conventional cosmophysics, and becomes the legacy that is critically important and unique beyond comparison for the human being. To repeat the statement, the present theory can explain many problems of physics that have remained unsolved to date, can elucidate the dimensional structure of the universe, and tells the truth of the Universe without discrepancy. The present theory, which I coined "The Unified Theory of the Universe Dimensions (UTUD)," provides the most beautiful, universal symmetry that theoretical physicists and mathematicians have sought for. Furthermore, the UTUD does not require any of the arbitrary setting of parameters, the unreasonable renormalization of infinite terms, anthropic principle-based ideas, etc. The Universe has only one pattern of the 10th dimension, and the relationship of our cosmos of the 4th dimension-the Cosmos-with 10th dimensional spacetime is determined uniquely. And, I assumed only the five items.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Thirty years ago Albert Einstein died, his dream of a theory that would unify the universe unfulfilled. He spent the last decades of his life searching for such a theory-a theory that would explain everything from elementary particles and their interac tions to the overall structure of the universe. But he failed, not because he didn't try hard enough, but because the attempt was ahead of its time. When Einstein worked on the problem liter ally nothing was known about black holes, white holes, sin gularities, the Big Bang explosion and the early universe, quarks, gauge invariance, and weak and strong nuclear forces. Today we know that all these things are important in relation to a unified theory, and that they must be incorporated in and explained by such a theory. Thus, in a sense, our problem is much more complex today than it was in Einstein's day. But scientists have persevered and as a result we are now tan talizingly close to achieving this long-sought goal. Important breakthroughs have been made. In this book we will look at these breakthroughs and at recent unified theories-theories that go by the names supergravity, superstrings, GUTs, and twistor theory. In order to understand the problem, however, we must begin at the beginning.

Book The Interconnected Universe

Download or read book The Interconnected Universe written by Ervin Laszlo and published by World Scientific. This book was released on 1995 with total page 192 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book offers an original hypothesis capable of unifying evolution in the physical universe with evolution in biology; herewith it lays the conceptual foundations of ?transdisciplinary unified theory?. The rationale for the hypothesis is presented first; then the theoretical framework is outlined, and thereafter it is explored in regard to quantum physics, physical cosmology, micro- and macro-biology, and the cognitive sciences (neurophysiology, psychology, with attention to anomalous phenomena as well). The book closes with a variety of studies, both by the author and his collaborators, sketching out the implications of the hypothesis in regard to brain dynamics, cosmology, the concept of space, phenomena of creativity, and the prospects for the elaboration of a mature transdisciplinary unified theory. The Foreword is written by philosopher of science Arne Naess, and the Afterword is contributed by neuroscientist Karl Pribram.

Book Grand Unified Theorem

Download or read book Grand Unified Theorem written by G. A. Oyibo and published by . This book was released on 2004 with total page 148 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: General theorem providing a mathematical basis for a Grand Unified Field Theory or a Theory of Everything (TOE) is presented. The Grand Unified Theorem produces a set of unified field equations from which Yang-Mills equations, other physical equations, and in general, mathematical equations, which have ever been known to human beings, can be recovered. The solution seems to mathematically represent the modification of space-time structure predicted by Einstein's general relativity theory. A good part of the material presented in this work has been reviewed by the American Mathematical Society and the European Mathematical Society in the Zentralblatt fur Mathematik.

Book excerpt: Science and philosophy are not different realms. They are parts of the same Whole Truth. Each century, the heart and mind of man has thirsted for and attained ever higher and more generalized truths, to better explain more of all that exists around us. We now stand at a precipice, trying to bridge the narrow but stubborn gap between two major disciplines of science—Quantum Mechanics and General Relativity. Many have strived for a single Unified Theory that explains how the two work in unison. But perhaps mathematics, the most flexible of all languages, is an insufficient mechanism to explain such a theory in a single formula. Perhaps it will take the more common language of everyday tongues, to achieve this worthy goal. Brief but powerful language, may more clearly and meaningfully unify these two branches of science, into the trunk and heart of a unified whole. To explain not only the commonality between two branches of science, but also the more general commonality among all disciplines and human endeavors. This work is a summarized version, of an attempt to explain a thread that runs through everything that exists. And what each particular piece has In Common. This book is a Superfluid–Vacuum Theory (SVT) of Quantum Gravity.

Book excerpt: #1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER • The epic story of the greatest quest in all of science—the holy grail of physics that would explain the creation of the universe—from renowned theoretical physicist and author of The Future of the Mind and The Future of Humanity When Newton discovered the law of gravity, he unified the rules governing the heavens and the Earth. Since then, physicists have been placing new forces into ever-grander theories. But perhaps the ultimate challenge is achieving a monumental synthesis of the two remaining theories—relativity and the quantum theory. This would be the crowning achievement of science, a profound merging of all the forces of nature into one beautiful, magnificent equation to unlock the deepest mysteries in science: What happened before the Big Bang? What lies on the other side of a black hole? Are there other universes and dimensions? Is time travel possible? Why are we here? Kaku also explains the intense controversy swirling around this theory, with Nobel laureates taking opposite sides on this vital question. It is a captivating, gripping story; what’s at stake is nothing less than our conception of the universe. Written with Kaku’s trademark enthusiasm and clarity, this epic and engaging journey is the story of The God Equation.

Book excerpt: Are there other dimensions beyond our own? Is time travel possible? Can we change the past? Are there gateways to parallel universes? All of us have pondered such questions, but there was a time when scientists dismissed these notions as outlandish speculations. Not any more. Today, they are the focus of the most intense scientific activity in recent memory. In Hyperspace, Michio Kaku, author of the widely acclaimed Beyond Einstein and a leading theoretical physicist, offers the first book-length tour of the most exciting (and perhaps most bizarre) work in modern physics, work which includes research on the tenth dimension, time warps, black holes, and multiple universes. The theory of hyperspace (or higher dimensional space)--and its newest wrinkle, superstring theory--stand at the center of this revolution, with adherents in every major research laboratory in the world, including several Nobel laureates. Beginning where Hawking's Brief History of Time left off, Kaku paints a vivid portrayal of the breakthroughs now rocking the physics establishment. Why all the excitement? As the author points out, for over half a century, scientists have puzzled over why the basic forces of the cosmos--gravity, electromagnetism, and the strong and weak nuclear forces--require markedly different mathematical descriptions. But if we see these forces as vibrations in a higher dimensional space, their field equations suddenly fit together like pieces in a jigsaw puzzle, perfectly snug, in an elegant, astonishingly simple form. This may thus be our leading candidate for the Theory of Everything. If so, it would be the crowning achievement of 2,000 years of scientific investigation into matter and its forces. Already, the theory has inspired several thousand research papers, and has been the focus of over 200 international conferences. Michio Kaku is one of the leading pioneers in superstring theory and has been at the forefront of this revolution in modern physics. With Hyperspace, he has produced a book for general readers which conveys the vitality of the field and the excitement as scientists grapple with the meaning of space and time. It is an exhilarating look at physics today and an eye-opening glimpse into the ultimate nature of the universe.

Book excerpt: The COSMOLOGICAL BALANCE UNIVERSE: A Unified Theory is a trilogy worth getting and reading. It's a must have series! Purchase yours today and satisfy your inquisitive curiosity.* Why are scientist unable to find a unified theory of everything? Why does Einstein's Special and General Relativity fail to explain the actual galactic rotational speed? Is it because of errors in Einstein's Relativity Theories? * Do you really believe in the Big Bang and the Expanding Universe Theories? What happens when both of these fail? Do we revert back to original "Static" Universe Theory (of Dynamic Equilibrium) prior to Einstein?* What is the true source of gravity? Is gravity a pull or push force or both? How does gravity actually work? What is dark matter, and dark energy? Are they placeholders for something else? What is Quantum Gravity?* What is the "fabric" of space? Why is space predominately flat and yet curved around ordinary matter? Is space void or occupied with particles?* Are you really satisfied with the explanations astrophysicists tell you? If yes, then continue on with what you are doing.* If not, then read my trilogy books and see a whole new perspective to reality: "The Cosmological Balance Universe: A Unified Theory." The trilogy books answers all these questions and more... Science demands progressive advancement in our understanding of the universe. This book introduces that potential sought after hypothesis, proposes mathematical resolutions to several physics and cosmology dilemmas, challenges famous theories, clears away obstacles, paves the way by adequately explaining new concepts, and announces a simple yet unified theory in the Cosmological Balance Universe. A theory that presents unique out of the box concepts and explains the existence of the visible and the invisible parts of our universe, and describes how each side's destiny depends on the other. It opens the door for pseudoscience ideas to make science take the next great leap of progress.

Book The Philosophy of the Universe and the Dimensions of the Multiverse

Download or read book The Philosophy of the Universe and the Dimensions of the Multiverse written by Aaron Olivier and published by Palmetto Publishing. This book was released on 2020-12 with total page 68 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Philosophy of the Universe and the Dimensions of the Multiverse takes us through a journey of discovery into the nature of spirituality and our relationship with the concept of God in a modern scientific context. As the journey continues, the hypothesis evolves into a scientific study of the nature of the universe and a theory which redefines the dimensions of the universe from the observable three-dimensional model we currently use today and suggests that the physical universe, measured with the tri-axis model, is in part, only the third dimension and there are two dimensions beneath the measurable 3rd dimension with the first having only an x-axis and the second having an x- and y-axis-and that the third dimension relies upon these first two dimensions for its stability, and that there are two dimensions above the third dimension, including a multiverse which relies upon the third and fourth dimensions for their stability. De Philosophia In Universum De Ratione Et Multiverse does not dispute with any modern sciences, it reorganizes them into one.
