They are thus a great option for anybody looking to produce dairy products on a modest basis. Origins and History The Nigerian Dwarf Goat originated in West Africa, where it was domesticated by native populations. Nigerian dwarf goats were brought to the US in the middle of the 20th century, mostly to be shown in zoos.
