Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Traveller's Tool is an up market man's man's manual which will find its place next tothe Nivea on every executive's bedside table. When Sir Les Patterson at last agreed to wet his nib and set down on paper his guide for the modern man on the move he made his intention very clear: 'I'm a man's man and I call a spade a spade, so if you're a bluenosed wowser, a raving pillow-biter or a loony old lezzo with a facelike a half- sucked mango, I'd chuck this book away now because in the pages that follow I employ the direct, no holds barred lingo of a serious Australian diplomat at the top of his profession and the height of his sexual powers.' In The Traveller's Tool Australia's most articulate high-flyer lays bare the international lifestyle as he has lived it. The book is not only packed with practical advice, but is also, in Sir Les's own words, 'as funny as buggery'.

Download or read book Traveler s Tool Kit Mexico and Central America written by Rob Sangster and published by Menasha Ridge Press. This book was released on 2008-02-28 with total page 578 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Traveler's Tool Kit Mexico/Central America was named Best Guidebook for 2008 by planeta.com Rob Sangster and Tim Leffel are not typical travelers, nor is this a typical travel guide. Instead of rating Mexico's "best" (read: most expensive) hotels, the authors shows how to locate comfortable, affordable lodging anywhere in the country. Traveler's Tool Kit does the same for everything from dining to entertainment to sightseeing in Mexico, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Belize, Panama, Honduras, Nicaragua, and El Salvador. Individual sections cover it all: drafting itineraries, calculating costs, eco-sensitive travel, unusual tours, managing money, staying healthy, woman-alone travel, and much more. Sangster and Leffel show how to connect with a network of travelers who've discovered the most enjoyable things to do and can provide guidance on how much to pay for them. The book also tells how to memorialize the adventure through photography and blogging, and even how to earn money from the trip after returning home. Sangster and Leffel are both authoritative and encouraging, drawing on years of experience to help travelers maximize the fun, savings, and security without compromising quality.

Download or read book No Stool Pigeon written by Haycene Ryan and published by Xlibris Corporation. This book was released on 2009-05-20 with total page 141 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Here in one place as suggested by my friend Helena who worked at the Cultural Office after she had read the five pieces, for the benefit of persons beyond the confines of the geographical space occupied by the island, and for those who would otherwise not have been exposed to the thoughts expressed, or would have had to carry out the laborious search through the Montserrat Reporters archives in order to revisit any of the pieces but for the last which has not previously appeared in print, are the socio, economic, and political analyses as documented under various pseudonyms by Haycene Ryan over the period 1991-2008. Where pen names were used, it was done, not out of fear, but on the premise that, as so often occurs in small societies, some persons would not bother to read a piece because of their negative perception of the authors capabilities or motive while, others accept the ideas without question due to their association with the individual with neither group employing any measure of critical thinking whatsoever. The articles were all written with the future of Montserrat and its inhabitants in mind and not to promote any individual or political party ideology.
