Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The DAY OF THE DEPARTED – KAAjutsu was at peace for a long time with no natural or man-made hazards occurring. A day of a beautiful and sacred festival was emerging known as THE DAY OF the departed WAS UP AND RUNNING. Departing here means those who have passed away. And this day is there to own them all. Master Wu and his ninjas were driving as quickly as possible to reach the history museum. THE VEHICLE THEY WERE DRIVING WAS THE ULTRASONIC RADO BOUNTY WHICH WAS A TANK OF A VEHICLE. ALL OF THE NINJAS REACHED THE MUSEUM BOUGHT A FEW LANTERNS TO CELEBRATE THE FESTIVAL. FROM THE MUSEUM ALL OF THEM SEPARATED AND WENT TO EACH THERE OWN PLACE TO HONOUR THEIR ANCESTORS. THIS DAY OF THE DEPATED WAS AN ASTONISHING ONE AS THE RAREST LUNAR ECLIPSE TO OCCUR WHICH IS KNOWN AS THE YING YANG ECLIPSE HELD AFTER EVERY 3456 YEARS. LLOYD WITH HIS MOTHER MISAKO WENT TO THE COORIIDOR OF ELDERS TO OWN HIS FATHER. KAI AND HIS SISTER NYA WENT TO THEIR OLD BLACKSMITH SHOP TO HONOUR THE LOSS OF THEIR MOTHER AND FATHER. MASTER WU WENT TO THE MONESTRY TO HONOUR HIS FATHER THE FIRST SPINJITZU FATHER. BUT ONE IS LEFT WHICH IS COAL BECAUSE HE WAS DISAPPEARING CONSTANTLY BECAUSE OF THE MAGIC OF THE ECLIPSE. IN REALITY, HE WAS A GHOST BECAUSE OF SOME OR OTHER PAST EVENTS. MASTER YANG A GHOST HIMSELF HAD NOW FORCED COAL TO MEET HIM AS HE WAS THE VERY REASON COLE WAS A GHOST IN THE FIRST PLACE WHICH MADE COLE WONDER IF COULD IT BE A TRAP. UNFORTUNATELY, HE HAD NO CHOICE SO HE PROCEEDED TO REACH YANG ‘S LOCATION WHICH WAS THE TEMPLE OF AIRJUTSU. THERE YANG MADE COLE BELIEVE THAT IT WAS NOT HIS FAULT AND FORCED HIM TO BREAK A PARTICULAR POT IN ANGER WHICH UNLEASHED A FEW EVIL DEAD SOALS UPON THE NINJA. YANG EXCLAIMED TO THOSE SOALS TO DEFEAT THE NINJA WITH THEIR SPECIAL WEAPONS TO BECOME ALIVE AGAIN. SO THEY AGREED AND WENT OF TO THEIR TARGETS OF CHOICE. AT EACH OF THE DIFFERENT PLACES ARRIVED ONE OF THE SOALS TO DEFEAT THE NINJA. YANG WAS WITH COAL AND YANG WAS TRYING TO OPEN THE DEPATED REALM TO BECOME ALIVE HIMSELF FOR HE WAS ALSO A GHOST. AT KIA AND NYAS PLACE THE SOLE TRIED TO GET HOLD OF THEM BUT FAILED. AT MASTER WUS PLACE THE SOLE ALSO FAILED AND FINALLY WITH LLOYD ALSO THE SOLE MET THE SAME FAITH. NOW COLE WAS FIGHTING WITH YANG IN A BATTLE WHERE A SITE OF AN OPENING WAS SEEN. IT WAS THE DEPARTED REALM FROM WHICH A GHOST AFTER PASSING COULD BECOME MORTAL AGAIN. YANG SOUGHT TO SEEK THIS OPPORTUNITY AND EXPLAINED TO COLE THAT HE FINALLY WOULD BE RECOGNISED BUT AT THAT VERY MOMENT COLE MADE YANG REALIZE THAT YANG WAS WORTH IT AS HE HAD MADE AIRJITSU WHICH EVERYONE CHEERISH. THIS MAKES YANG REALIZE WHAT HE DID WAS WRONG SO HE INSISTS COLE PASS THROUGH THE PORTAL INSTEAD OF HIM SO THAT COLE BECOMES MORTAL. COLE HAD NO CHOICE SO HE DID IT AND BECAME MORTAL. THE CURSE OF TEMPLE WAS BROKEN. THE NINJA WERE ALL THERE WITH THEIR LANTERNS THEY WERE HAPPY TO SEE COLE AND THEY CELEBRATED AND PARTIED ALL NIGHT.

Book Connecting Children with Classics

Download or read book Connecting Children with Classics written by Meagan Lacy and published by Bloomsbury Publishing USA. This book was released on 2018-03-14 with total page 501 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This guide identifies hundreds of books that can help children develop into engaged readers. Children's librarians, collection development specialists in public libraries, as well as K–8 school librarians and teachers will choose from the best in children's titles. This unique readers' advisory and collection development guide for librarians and others who work with children focuses on readers and their needs, rather than simply categorizing books by their characteristics and features as traditional literature guides do. Taking this unusual perspective brings forth powerful new tools and curricular ideas on how to promote the classics, and how to best engage with young readers and meet their personal and emotional needs to boost interest and engagement. The guide identifies seven reader-driven appeals, or themes, that are essential to successful readers' advisory: awakening new perspectives; providing models for identity; offering reassurance, comfort, strength, and confirmation of self-worth; connecting with others; giving courage to make a change; facilitating acceptance; and building a disinterested understanding of the world. By becoming aware of and tapping into these seven themes, librarians and other educators can help children more deeply connect with books, thereby increasing the odds of becoming lifelong readers. The detailed descriptions of each book provide plot summaries as well as notes on themes, subjects, reading interest levels, adaptations and alternative formats, translations, and read-alikes. This informative guide will also aid librarians in collection development and bibliotherapy services.
