Book The Three Days of Darkness and the Time of Peace

Download or read book The Three Days of Darkness and the Time of Peace written by Ronald Conte and published by . This book was released on 2014-11-06 with total page 154 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The tribulation (i.e. the apocalypse) is divided into two parts: the first part occurs during this generation and the second part occurs in the distant future. During the first part of the tribulation many difficulties trouble the whole world -- war, civil unrest, famine, death from a variety of causes. But the last afflictions of this part of the tribulation are even more severe. Then all of these sufferings culminate with the most severe event of the first part of the tribulation: the Three Days of Darkness. An understanding of this event can be found in Sacred Scripture, if it is read with faith. Many Saints and other holy persons also prophesied about this future affliction. Even the Blessed Virgin Mary, in the apparitions at La Salette, spoke about this terrible event and the many deaths that would result. And so both Divine Revelation and private revelation can inform us about the Three Days of Darkness. After the Three Days of Darkness, all is not lost. Immediately, a time of great peace and holiness ensues, and the survivors rebuild society, in devout fear of God. For the Three Days of Darkness is the last event of the first part of the tribulation, after which occurs a brief time of peace, lasting about 25 years. This time of peace is the beginning of the inter-tribulation period. This booklet is divided into three sections: (1) The Three Days of Darkness in Sacred Scripture, (2) The Three Days of Darkness in Private Revelation, (3) A Brief Time of Peace, Holiness, and Rebuilding. This booklet is based on the author's longer work, entitled: The First Part of the Tribulation.Ronald L. Conte Jr. is the translator of the Catholic Public Domain Version of the Bible, and the author of several works of Roman Catholic eschatology. His other books cover diverse subjects in theology, including Mariology, Biblical chronology, ethics, and other topics.

Book excerpt: Day of wrath and doom impending.David's word with Sibyl's blending,Heaven and earth in ashes ending. We open with the Dies Irae, because it applies to the Three Days of Darkness. Pope Saint Gregory the Great says in his Regula Pastoralis: “Let them be told how the Prophet Sophonias holds out over them the stroke of divine reproof, when he says: 'Behold, the day of the Lord is coming, great and horrible . . . . That day is a day of wrath, a day of darkness and obscurity, a day of clouds and whirlwinds, a day of the trumpet and alarm against all the fenced cities and against all the high corners.'” 1 Note this verse inspired the Dies Irae. The purpose of this book is to provide all of the prophecies that relate to the Three Days of Darkness. These are placed in a chronological order similar to that employed by Father Culleton is his two books, Antichrist and The Prophets and Our Times. They are provided without comment so that you can study the prophecies themselves. Some of the prophecies may appear out of place, but they will make sense as you move forward. It is strongly recommended that you make notes as you proceed forward with this book. In this way you can sort things out for yourself. Padre Pio predicted the Three Days of Darkness. So does Sacred Scripture, which calls it the Day of the Lord. Even Jesus Himself referred to the Three Days of Darkness in the Gospels. This book considers the many Catholic prophecies on the Three Days of Darkness.

Book Understanding End Times Prophecy

Download or read book Understanding End Times Prophecy written by Paul Benware and published by Moody Publishers. This book was released on 2006-05-01 with total page 282 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Many Christians think of end times prophecy as a gigantic, intimidating puzzle -- difficult to piece together and impossible to figure out. But every puzzle can be solved if you approach it the right way. Paul Benware compares prophecy to a picture puzzle. Putting the edge pieces together first builds the 'framework' that makes it easier to fit the other pieces in their place. According to Benware, the framework for eschatology is the biblical covenants. He begins his comprehensive survey by explaining the major covenants. Then he discusses several different interpretations of end times prophecy. Benware digs into the details of the Rapture, the Great Tribulation, the judgements and resurrections, and the millennial kingdom. But he also adds a unique, personal element to the study, answering questions as: -Why study bible prophecy? -What difference does it make if I'm premillenial or amillenial? If what the Bible says about the future puzzles you, Understanding End Times Prophecy will help you put together the pieces and see the big picture.

And that's OK.Other atheists, however, find themselves constantly being asked to justify why they don't believe in God, to explain how they can possibly have morals without believing in God, to respond to various arguments that supposedly prove the existence of God, to acknowledge that America was founded as a "Christian" nation, etc. And if you don't have a background in philosophy, formal logic, comparative religions, ancient history, and various scientific fields, it can be a bit daunting to attempt to respond to questions and assertions like these.Well, fear not! "Common Sense Atheism" is a collection of original essays that address these issues and many others in clear and easy to understand language, with just a dollop of humor to make it all go down smoothly. These essays will help you understand and explain to others why a lack of belief in God really is the only rational choice. After all, you shouldn't need a PhD to defend your lack of belief.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The long-prophesied, Biblically verified Three Days of Darkness will prove to be mankind's worst nightmare! From testimony ranging from the author's own (1988) dream/vision experience to Old and New Testament prophecies, the TDD will culminate in the destruction of all the wicked throughout the world: As many prophesies indicate, all who choose to serve the devil and his lie rather than God and His truth will be reduced to "ashes beneath your feet". (Malachi 4:1, 3)However, a means of nurturing and maintaining hope for the righteous who will survive that event consists in The Formatrix Curriculum, a group of Biblically-based fiction and non-fiction texts and artworks which integrate each such work with The Formatrix Criterion Paradigm:The Criterion consists of the seven creation stewardship-oriented teaching commands of Jesus Christ, implicit to each of which is a different resource of which each person has the capability to steward, but of which we are not at birth endowed with equal measures: The divinely ordained implication being that we are to share whatever resources we have in abundance with those who lack such as a means to enable each to best employ their talents in the service of God and the eternally common good of all.The "Creed" or Criterion will serve to nurture hope for the righteous who will be "the meek (who) will inherit the earth" as predicted by Jesus during His Sermon on the Mount. The Formatrix Criterion Paradigm is the state-of-the-art, cutting-edge, tactical-strategy for evangelizing the world of these times which can prove to serve the preparation needs for those who remain faithful to Jesus Christ making distinctive the way of the Lord, first in our hearts and then outwardly manifesting our adoption by God:This book provides insights and advice to serve both spiritual and various physical preservation needs and as a study means also to serving God and the eternally common good of all.
