Download or read book Strategic Goal Planning written by Katie Darden and published by Createspace Independent Pub. This book was released on 2012-12-02 with total page 184 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: While most Strategic Planning books are designed for corporations or organizations, this book is specifically for individuals and small businesses. It takes a "coach" approach to help you (1) determine the values most important to you; (2) set targeted, focused, balanced goals; and (3) achieve outstanding results based on your personal definition of success. This book is a collection of the three volumes in the Strategic Goal Planning series available through Amazon Kindle and takes you through the entire process from beginning to end. In Part 1 - Determining Your Core Values, we begin by identifying and prioritizing what is most important to you- your Core Values. In Part 2 - Creating Targeted Goals, we use specific questions to think about the past and begin to plan for the future. You;ll look for patterns of success and areas that have been neglected. You'll create a plan for where to put your attention and how to best create the results that move you forward along your desired goal path. In Part 3 - Your Focused One Page Plan, you'll create a more linear plan that lists the key factors and strategies you'll need to pay attention to. We also identify some ways to schedule your actions and track your progress. In the end, as you work through these exercises and processes, you'll have a plan that is interesting, relevant and still doable. A plan that will help you stay focused on the important aspects of what will make you successful - on your own terms and by your own definition of success. This is not a dry, academic book written for educational institutions. These exercises and techniques have been extensively "field tested" with hundreds of small business clients in workshops, seminars, previous ebooks, business networks, online membership communities, teleseminars, webinars and private coaching sessions. NOTE: This book includes worksheets for each of the exercises, along with links to free downloadable worksheets for each of the individual book parts to help you work through the exercises and processes.

Book Intelligent Unmanned Ground Vehicles

Download or read book Intelligent Unmanned Ground Vehicles written by Martial H. Hebert and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2012-12-06 with total page 315 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Intelligent Unmanned Ground Vehicles describes the technology developed and the results obtained by the Carnegie Mellon Robotics Institute in the course of the DARPA Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV) project. The goal of this work was to equip off-road vehicles with computer-controlled, unmanned driving capabilities. The book describes contributions in the area of mobility for UGVs including: tools for assembling complex autonomous mobility systems; on-road and off-road navigation; sensing techniques; and route planning algorithms. In addition to basic mobility technology, the book covers a number of integrated systems demonstrated in the field in realistic scenarios. The approaches presented in this book can be applied to a wide range of mobile robotics applications, from automated passenger cars to planetary exploration, and construction and agricultural machines. Intelligent Unmanned Ground Vehicles shows the progress that was achieved during this program, from brittle specially-built robots operating under highly constrained conditions, to groups of modified commercial vehicles operating in tough environments. One measure of progress is how much of this technology is being used in other applications. For example, much of the work in road-following, architectures and obstacle detection has been the basis for the Automated Highway Systems (AHS) prototypes currently under development. AHS will lead to commercial prototypes within a few years. The cross-country technology is also being used in the development of planetary rovers with a projected launch date within a few years. The architectural tools built under this program have been used in numerous applications, from an automated harvester to an autonomous excavator. The results reported in this work provide tools for further research development leading to practical, reliable and economical mobile robots.

Book The Strategic Goal Setting Handbook

Download or read book The Strategic Goal Setting Handbook written by Shauna-kaye Brown and published by . This book was released on 2022-12-12 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "This is a book that will forever change the way you approach your goals, and the result will be that you will begin to live your life on purpose. I am immensely grateful to have brought you my insights on goal setting and present you with the same opportunity for intentional living the enclosed strategies have afforded me."This little volume is not meant to be a complete exposition on the concept of goal setting. However, what you will garner from it will help to add structure to your life as you proceed into your next season or chapter. It is the kind of information you wish you had ten or twenty years ago, because even though you may have had a semblance of planning for the future, it was never in the context presented here. The idea which should remain forever etched in your mind is, "Success is possible for everyone. It is not as some would like you to believe, reserved for a select class of people in society." Yet, success is by no means accidental. People who do great things and continue to do well are committed to a process. A process of visualizing, organizing, and acting on their ideas. All of this is underpinned by one crucial first step, goal setting.

If you're having trouble changing your habits, the problem isn't you. The problem is your system. Clear is known for his ability to distill complex topics into simple behaviors that can be easily applied to daily life and work. Here, he draws on the most proven ideas from biology, psychology, and neuroscience to create an easy-to-understand guide for making good habits inevitable and bad habits impossible. Along the way, readers will be inspired and entertained with true stories from Olympic gold medalists, award-winning artists, business leaders, life-saving physicians, and star comedians who have used the science of small habits to master their craft and vault to the top of their field. Atomic Habits will reshape the way you think about progress and success, and give you the tools and strategies you need to transform your habits--whether you are a team looking to win a championship, an organization hoping to redefine an industry, or simply an individual who wishes to quit smoking, lose weight, reduce stress, or achieve any other goal.

Book The Strategic Goal Setting Workbook

Download or read book The Strategic Goal Setting Workbook written by Shauna-kaye Brown and published by . This book was released on 2022-12-12 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This workbook aims to help you purposefully set goals and develop a pattern of success over the theoretic habit-forming period. There is a wide gamut of literature that speaks to the length of time it takes to form a habit. However, do not feel impelled to slavishly adhere to any specific number of days for something which is hardly quantifiable. Honestly, I believe it is an inestimable equation. What I can share with you though is my experience. I have realized that it takes me no less than one month on average, to develop sufficient discipline to foster commitment and persistence. Hence, I have designed this workbook which includes a 33-day journal and a goal setting blueprint to help you achieve the success you need in your goal setting process.Key questions answered throughout the workbook:1.How do I use the hours in my day?2.Why is there power in writing down my goals?3.What are my three major goals?4.Should I work on my goals simultaneously or individually? 5.Do I have sufficient control to stay motivated?6.What is the role of my WHY in all of this?7.Are my daily habits hindering or helping me?
