He maintains that a visual image of Jesus and His "presence" are intricately linked together. When we seek the face of Jesus, the Son of God, we know he will be gracious to us and give us peace. What is more, the image of his holy face serves as a great protection against evil. It is hard to give into temptation when the face of Jesus is in your thoughts, imagination, physical sight or resting against your heart on a necklace or on a bracelet. It serves as a reminder of God's constant presence in our lives and the call to "Seek always the face of God"- Psalm 105:4.
