Book The Science of Five Divisional Universe

Download or read book The Science of Five Divisional Universe written by Srikanth s and published by Srikanth s. This book was released on with total page 1 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The answers to several questions which are baffling scientists and philosophers today are contained within the treasure-house of the Vedas, as well as the solutions to several daunting problems threatening human society. Access to these answers would open up the possibility of a quantum leap into a world of new truths and new experiences, and a study of the knowledge contained in these texts should also help in understanding the founding principles of one of the most ancient civilisations in human history. Together these could indicate to us the road to the establishment of an enduring harmony and happiness on our planet. The current work attempts to Introduce the reader to the unexplored treasury of humankind’s ancient insights. The discovery opens fascinating vistas and offers glimpses of the origins of the universe. It transports us to a forgotten era when the human mind had attained dazzling heights and delved deep into the mysteries of existence. Our supreme concern is to offer a glimpse of these insights of the Vedas in a manner which makes sense to the modern mind and yet does not distort, but only translates, the insights of the seer-scientists who composed the Vedas. We shall endeavour to avoid the pitfall of merely expressing our own ideas in the language of a foreign culture. To investigate the Vedas fully is a lifetime’s work for someone possessed of a superior intelligence. This book of necessity is a brief exploration of Vedic knowledge, written in the hope that the essence of this fount of wisdom may be conveyed to the reader in an unadulterated form. This work is offered to the reading public in the belief that its subject contains much that is valuable for today’s troubled global society. We follow this with an exploration of Vedic spirituality in its pure form, uncovering the real meaning of the terms falsely interpreted by Western scholars as ‘gods’ and ‘goddesses’. We include extracts from the ‘ancient texts, liberally endowed with poetry and metaphor, to illustrate the truths of the cosmic view revealed to humankind through the Vedas.

Book A Yoga Teachers manual of Yoga Nidra

Download or read book A Yoga Teachers manual of Yoga Nidra written by Srikanth s and published by Srikanth s. This book was released on with total page 90 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Yoga Nidra helps to expand that natural moment, that twilight zone, when we are neither fully conscious nor fully asleep (just before going to sleep at night and just before becoming fully awake in the morning) from a few moments to 15 minutes and then to half an hour and so on, because during this period, we experience a great deal of physical quiet, emotional peace, mental clarity and potential blossoming of our creative potential. The main aim of Yoga Nidra is psychotherapy or chittashuddhi: All the residue of the past, the suppressed emotional junk and dross accumulated in our sub/unconscious minds creates a screen/veil between us and our Atman/soul, preventing the union. Yoga Nidra helps to purify our mind by getting rid of all that dross and junk, removes that veil/screen, allowing our true personality, strength and happiness to shine through, leading to yoga (Union with Atman/soul). Yoga nidra.

Book excerpt: Chrology By: Ulrich Ndilira Rotam The background research for Chrology: Science of All Sciences, Unification of All Knowledge was conducted in a generalized way on several domains to understand if there is a single law that governs all sciences, all literary studies, our existence, and all our knowledge on different generalities in a single model. This research and study led Ulrich Ndilira Rotam to discover a simple and absolute law in its originality that governs the presence of all existence in the universe in a complex way according to the space, existence, time, and scalable factors. Not satisfied with the vision or the interpretation of the world with all our theories: big bang, strings, cosmic inflation, general relativities, quantum physics, our existence, Rotam saw that there was a lack of gigantic pieces that required a new shaping and vision, seeing in a different way all that surrounds us. He wanted to unify everything on one model. In other words, Chrology makes it possible to push the boundaries of innovations on all human disciplines, to see and understand how the whole universe appears to us in our small global world and all sciences, literatures are all united on one model with their limits... a completely new concept.

Download or read book Plasma Science written by National Research Council and published by National Academies Press. This book was released on 2008-01-20 with total page 281 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: As part of its current physics decadal survey, Physics 2010, the NRC was asked by the DOE, NSF, and NASA to carry out an assessment of and outlook for the broad field of plasma science and engineering over the next several years. The study was to focus on progress in plasma research, identify the most compelling new scientific opportunities, evaluate prospects for broader application of plasmas, and offer guidance to realize these opportunities. The study paid particular attention to these last two points. This "demand-side" perspective provided a clear look at what plasma research can do to help achieve national goals of fusion energy, economic competitiveness, and nuclear weapons stockpile stewardship. The report provides an examination of the broad themes that frame plasma research: low-temperature plasma science and engineering; plasma physics at high energy density; plasma science of magnetic fusion; space and astrophysical science; and basic plasma science. Within those themes, the report offers a bold vision for future developments in plasma science.

Book Funding Smithsonian Scientific Research

Download or read book Funding Smithsonian Scientific Research written by National Research Council and published by National Academies Press. This book was released on 2003-02-28 with total page 100 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This report assesses whether the Smithsonian Institution should continue to receive direct federal appropriations for its scientific research programs or if this funding should be transferred to a peer-reviewed program open to all researchers in another agency. The report concludes that the National Museum of Natural History, the National Zoological Park, and the Smithsonian Center for Materials Research and Education in Suitland should remain exempt from having to compete for federal research dollars because they make unique contributions to the scientific and museum communities. Three other Smithsonian research programs should continue to receive federal funding since they are performing science of the highest quality and already compete for much of their government research money.

Book 137 Jung Pauli and the Pursuit of a Scientific Obsession

Download or read book 137 Jung Pauli and the Pursuit of a Scientific Obsession written by Arthur I. Miller and published by W. W. Norton & Company. This book was released on 2010-05-17 with total page 368 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: “The history is fascinating, as are the insights into the personalities of these great thinkers.”—New Scientist Is there a number at the root of the universe? A primal number that everything in the world hinges on? This question exercised many great minds of the twentieth century, among them the groundbreaking physicist Wolfgang Pauli and the famous psychoanalyst Carl Jung. Their obsession with the power of certain numbers—including 137, which describes the atom’s fine-structure constant and has great Kabbalistic significance—led them to develop an unlikely friendship and to embark on a joint mystical quest reaching deep into medieval alchemy, dream interpretation, and the Chinese Book of Changes. 137 explores the profound intersection of modern science with the occult, but above all it is the tale of an extraordinary, fruitful friendship between two of the greatest thinkers of our times. Originally published in hardcover as Deciphering the Cosmic Number.
