These APIs are sorted by functional type and their criticality to the airport strategic plan. More than 800 performance indicators are presented in three main categories: Core, Key, and Other APIs. "Core" or fundamental indicators are important for overall operation of the airport and of interest to the Chief Executive Officer or governing board. "Key" or departmental indicators are important for the operations of key airport functions and departments. The remaining "Other" indicators are considered useful as secondary departmental unit performance indicators but not critical to the airport's overall function. Book Companion Reference Guide for Test Indicators

Download or read book Companion Reference Guide for Test Indicators written by Rene Urs Meyer and published by . This book was released on 2020-11-04 with total page 136 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Let me make it clear from the outset that what follows is quite simply a reprint of certain portions of our web site. Specifically, those portions dealing with dial test indicators. This book came about as a result of the many requests we have had for a print version, something that can be kept on the bookshelf-a reference perhaps-or reading material, when sitting in front of the computer screen is not an option. When we began the project it became stunningly evident that a print version of the complete web site would exceed 3,000 pages. That could amount to an encyclopedia of ten volumes not to mention quite a bit of work on my part. I also noticed that a straight forward print-out would not make much sense. Web sites are designed in non-linear form. That is, one web page does not lead logically to the next. Each web page contains numerous links which will have the visitor jump all over the site without necessarily being aware that this is a spider web, a maze of information. In order to keep a direct correlation between the printed chapters in this book and what we call "web pages" on the computer, I have had to make reference to the website's web page numbers. In the text that follows, any reference to web page numbers refers to the web page numbering on our web site. Thus, when the reader finds a topic of interest, it is an easy matter to go to the computer and locate the same information. To make this book manageable in size, I have chosen to focus on test indicators alone. Indicator repairs are what we started with in 1959 and specifically the Swiss-made gages. The website is a continual work in progress. New information gets added about half a dozen times each day. I started to do this simply to create a reference source for our own use. How else could we remember all the information that was unearthed? Looking at the Table of Contents, you will see that the focus remains principally on the quality indicators made by established manufacturers in Switzerland, Germany, Japan and the USA. I feel justified in focusing on what we know best. I recently calculated that I have personally repaired over 35,000 indicators in the years that I have been working. My father easily matched that number along with tens of thousands of dial calipers and micrometers which he and my brother have repaired. What I learned during all these years has all been put into this repository: www.longislandindicator.com Here you will find charts of manufacturers' specifications and spare parts lists, critical evaluations of brands and models, instructions for cleaning, servicing and calibrating indicators and hundreds of web pages of information which often exceed what manufacturers' catalogs provide. In fact, we have had manufacturers refer to our website to learn things about their own products!

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Market breadth indicators, i.e. advance/decline, new high/new low, or up/down volume, allow technical analysts and traders to look beneath the surface of a market to quantify the underlying strength or direction associated with a market move. Increasingly popular in all types of markets, they give traders the ability to accurately forecast a number of possible outcomes and the likelihood of each. Bottom line? For gauging the near-term direction and strength of a market, breadth indicators are among the single most valuable tools a trader can use. The Complete Guide to Market Breadth Indicators is the most comprehensive and vivid collection available of market breadth indicator information and features ideas and insights from market veterans including John Murphy, Don Beasley, Jim Miekka, Tom and Sherman McClellan, and numerous others. Chapters are first categorized based upon the mathematical relationship between the breadth pairs. Each indicator is then analyzed to provide information including: Also known as--other names by which the indicator is recognized Author/creator--when available Data components required--components of breadth data required to calculate the indicator Description--brief description of the indicator Interpretation--generally accepted industry interpretation of the indicator, with techniques of different analysts also discussed Chart--Chart or charts that best display the indicator Author comments--Greg Morris's personal interpretation, opinion, and use of the indicator, along with suggested modifications, complementary indicators, and more Formula--An algebraic formula for the indicator or, for formulae that are too complex for this section, a descriptive narrative on the formula References--An indicator-specific bibliography for additional information on the indicator or its creator, with notes about a particular book or magazine article Breadth analysis is one of the purest measures of market liquidity. Applicable to virtually any exchange or index of securities for which breadth data is available, it represents the best available footprint of the health and near-term direction of the overall market examined. The Complete Guide to Market Breadth Indicators is the first book to delve into the use, mathematics, and interpretation of the most popular and proven of these tools, and is an invaluable reference for technical traders and investors of all types, and in every market.

Book Community Indicators Project Development Guide

Download or read book Community Indicators Project Development Guide written by Madeleine Deblois and published by . This book was released on 2019-09-26 with total page 174 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Community Indicators Project Development Guide sets out to provide a comprehensive resource, based on literature search, interviews, and personal experience, on how to start, implement, and sustain a community indicators project that will help create those favorable conditions for a community, and its families and children, to thrive. The focus throughout this volume is on a meaningful participatory co-creation process that leads to scientifically and logically sound measures that reflect a community's priorities and amplify its voices and therefore can be used to move the needle on community conditions. This volume goes beyond just talking about data. Data matter, but they are just one element of the comprehensive approach needed if indicators are to be used to improve community conditions. The chapters are divided into two parts: one related to the mechanisms of how to develop good indicators and the other one on supporting good practices that will put indicators in action. This first part offers looks at the nuts and bolts behind the process of developing a community indicators project, starting with definitions and an overview (chapter 1). Next, we take a bird's eye view at the process of developing an indicator project (chapter 2). The following chapters take a deeper dive in some of the elements of that process. We provide an introduction to criteria for indicator selection (chapter 3). We then turn our attention to sourcing, analyzing, and interpreting data (chapter 4, 5 and 6) and including quick guide to data literacy (chapter 6). We then examine the theory and practice behind successful reporting (chapter 7). And finally, we look at the holy grail of community indicators efforts: how to move from data to action (chapter 8).The second part focuses on the network. Community indicators project do not operate, nor can they succeed, in a vacuum. This section looks at the importance of building solid network, starting with strong partnerships and on-going collaboration as well as effective leadership (chapter 9). Good communications (chapter 10) are essential to any successful initiative and overlap with the development of purposeful community engagement (chapter 11). Finally, we offer some practical tools for community engagement (chapter 12). More than ever, in these times of distrust of science and of institutions, we need to convene, unite, and ultimately ignite an interest in knowledge and a desire for change. We need practitioners who understand all the facets of this endeavor and can effectively sustain the effort. We hope that with this volume, more and more communities will equip themselves with information and be empowered to drive change and lead their communities toward a positive future.
