Book The Force Is with You Always

Download or read book The Force Is with You Always written by Richard Koepke and published by AuthorHouse. This book was released on 2011-05-10 with total page 225 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book teaches people how Spirit operates directly in our lives today and what we must do to live life to the fullest and with malice toward none. It teaches spiritual principles on how to live life with gratitude, acceptance, joy, abundance and wellness. It connects us with our eternal being within and encourages us to create our own soul music without. Have we lost our way as a society? In the wake of humans murdering over 100 million other humans in the past century, many of us are seeking answers to the ever increasing cultural violence surrounding us. From capital punishment to going postal, we live in a very violent society. Hardly a day passes without news of government torture prisons, drive-by shootings, a ten year old boy murdering his father, or a congresswoman being shot in the head. Shocking revelations, such as American government doctors using unsuspecting American citizens as human guinea pigs for decades of medical experiments, further alienate the government from the people that they are supposed to serve. It seems to me that we need a new vision of humanity that our faltering institutions have failed to provide. I believe that we need to replace institutional blight with greater spirituality. We need a new spirit of integrity that replaces the often deceitful and violent leadership we currently embrace. We need to challange the "don't get mad get even" mentality in our society with greater understanding for one another. We need to be role models for positive reinforcement (learning) rather than the punishment that only teaches more violence and hatred, and, like the Montagues and Capulets, the never-ending need to seek revenge. This book addresses how to live a life of health and wellness in the midst of a truly sick society.

Book Remote Viewers

Download or read book Remote Viewers written by Jim Schnabel and published by Dell. This book was released on 2011-04-20 with total page 481 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Remote Viewers is a tale of the Pentagon's attempts to develop the perfect tool for espionage: psychic spies. These psychic spies, or "remote viewers," were able to infiltrate any target, elude any form of security, and never risk scratch. For twenty years, the government selected civilian and military personnel for psychic ability, trained them, and put them to work, full-time, at taxpayers' expense, against real intelligence targets. The results were so astonishing that the program soon involved more than a dozen separate agencies, including the CIA, the Defense Intelligence Agency, the National Security Council, the FBI, the National Security Agency, the Secret Service, the Navy, the Army, the Air Force, the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the Drug Enforcement Agency, the US Customs Service, the US Special Forces Command, and at least one Pentagon drug-interaction task force. Most of this material is still officially classified. After three years of research, with access to numerous sources in the intelligence community--including the remote viewers themselves--science writer Jim Schnabel reveals the secret details of the strangest chapter in the history of espionage.

Book Reader of Hearts

Download or read book Reader of Hearts written by Darrin Owens and published by New World Library. This book was released on 2006 with total page 146 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Darrin Owens calls himself a "reluctant psychic" because growing up in rural Arkansas, he only wanted to fit in. Darrin knew and experienced things that no one in his prosaic world was talking about, especially not at the fundamentalist church he attended. When he rented a movie based on Shirley MacLaine's Out on a Limb, he discovered who and what he was. A visit to a psychic who recognized his powers further opened his eyes to his own abilities and the spiritual journey that would be his destiny. According to Darrin, being a psychic isn't just about "knowing things"; it is also a spiritual practice. This lively, entertaining book offers seven lessons of the spiritual path -- including spiritual awakening; conscious creation; attunement; and inner guidance -- and relates stories from Darrin's life to illustrate them. Each chapter addresses one of the lessons and includes exercises, prayers, guided meditations, and affirmations. By turns humorous and poignant, the book offers wisdom and guidance for readers just discovering their spiritual connections and those already accomplished in psychic and spiritual skills.

  • Author : Caroline Myss
  • Publisher : Hay House, Inc
  • Release : 2011-01-15
  • ISBN : 1401922910
  • Pages : 251 pages

Download or read book Defy Gravity written by Caroline Myss and published by Hay House, Inc. This book was released on 2011-01-15 with total page 251 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: New York Times best-selling author Caroline Myss draws from her years as a medical intuitive to show that healing is not only physical; it is also a mystical phenomenon that transcends reason. Inspired by ordinary people who overcame a wide array of physical and psychological ailments—from rheumatoid arthritis to cancer—Caroline dove into the works of the great mystics to gain a deeper understanding of healing’s spiritual underpinnings. Based on these studies, she demonstrates how conventional and holistic medicine often fall short in times of need. Both systems rely upon a logical approach to curing illness when there is nothing reasonable about the emotional, psychological, or spiritual influences behind any ailment. Integral to this mystical healing approach is the engagement of the soul, which we experience through exploring our seven shadow passions, building an empowered inner self around our seven inherent graces, and learning how to work with the mystical laws that govern it. This knowledge holds the key to understanding what it means to defy gravity and break through the boundaries of ordinary thought. You can heal any illness. You can channel grace. And you can learn to live fearlessly.

It was often emotionally painful, but only through emotional healing can transformation occur. I had to face my deepest fears to ascend and go higher vibrationally. It felt at times like the complete destruction and decomposition of me. Slowly, I brought all the fractals of myself that I had so carelessly given away back together. Unknowingly I embarked on a journey of spiritual awakening. There was an organic path that unfolded as I ventured into the unknown. A pattern of awareness, inner work, and clearing happened over and over as I spiraled up the mountain. Sometimes life broke me, but I rose stronger. This book is a guide for anyone navigating their own ascension path. It offers tools to help people overcome adversity and find courage to release what no longer serves them and is also a reminder they were born worthy. What you will learn from this book: * How your family of origin story impacts your adult mindset and behavior patterns. * An understanding of energy, frequency, and consciousness and how it affects your life. * The process of healing emotional wounds, shedding and releasing what no longer serves you, and how it will change your life. * How to love yourself and align with your truth to live an empowered and authentic life.

Book Hit the Road Jack

  • Publisher : McGill-Queen's Press - MQUP
  • Release : 2012-11-01
  • ISBN : 0773587861

Download or read book Hit the Road Jack written by Gordon E. Slethaug and published by McGill-Queen's Press - MQUP. This book was released on 2012-11-01 with total page 328 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: All travelers know the seductive power of the open road and its suggestions of possibility, escape, renewal, and reinvention. Hit the Road, Jack is an interdisciplinary exploration of the significance of the road as reality and metaphor. Engaging with varied cultural mediums such as literature, reality television, philosophy, and political rhetoric, this collection delves deeply into the symbolic implications of the road. Insightful and accessible essays draw upon both classic "road" texts and films, while investigating themes of individual and national freedom, independence and mobility, and destiny. Referencing postmodern theory, gender and queer studies, as well as personal reminiscence and narrative research, Hit the Road, Jack considers the impact that identity - particularly race, ethnicity, gender, and sexual orientation - has on the way various journeys are taken. While literary depictions of the road have a long history, scholarship about the phenomenon is sparse. This anthology makes a significant contribution to the study of the road, bringing to light aspects of its iconic status in American culture. Contributors include Paul Attinello (Newcastle University), Stacilee Ford (University of Hong Kong), Eleanor Heginbotham (University of Maryland), Susan Kuyper (Des Moines Area Community College), Gina Marchetti (University of Hong Kong), Cotton Seiler (Dickinson University), Max J. Skidmore (University of Missouri-Kansas City), Gordon Slethaug (University of Southern Denmark), Michael Truscello (Mount Royal University), and Wendy Zierler (Hebrew Union College -Jewish Institute of Religion, New York).
