Download or read book Working with Oneness written by Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee and published by The Golden Sufi Center. This book was released on 2002-05-02 with total page 172 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Humanity has been given access to the secrets of oneness, but we need to learn how to work with them. Working with Oneness brings mysticism into the center of the marketplace, into the world of business and technology, and shows how we can work with it in everyday life. The dynamic energy of oneness has the potential to heal the planet and revolutionize life more than we can imagine, but it requires our individual participation and awareness to become fully alive. The energy of oneness is already present but waiting to be lived, and Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee provides a blueprint for working consciously with this energy. As we understand how our consciousness affects the whole fabric of life, the potential for real global change comes alive. Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee stresses the need to change from hierarchical, patriarchal power structures to organic patterns that allow for the free flow of energy and ideas. Through these patterns the dynamic energy of oneness can become part of everyday life. Working with Oneness includes a number of additional important topics, including: the changing energy structure of the planet and how to work with it; the power of individual consciousness; the danger of the desire for spiritual security; the return of joy to everyday life; the awakening of the heart of the world; a new understanding of magic; the use of the imagination; and mystical participation in life with the energy of oneness. Working with Oneness offers guidance on how to work with the energy of oneness, to learn how to participate in life free of the patterns of the past, so that the divine can come alive in every moment of every day. Working with Oneness is mystical activism at its most potent. “There is a growing and eager audience waiting for a vision of unity consciousness... Working with Oneness offers a salutary antidote to worn-out antagonisms. It challenges readers to join other kindred souls in a mystical activism that can bring new hope to humanity.” —Spirituality & Health “A book filled with wonder and the kind of insights that can leap out to your heart and gladden you for having read them. It's words are simple and straightforward—always a blessing—but its message it the most vital and important for the time in which we live. I recommend it.” —David Spangler, author, Blessings: the Art and the Practice

Book Ironies of Oneness and Difference

Download or read book Ironies of Oneness and Difference written by Brook Ziporyn and published by SUNY Press. This book was released on 2012-09-01 with total page 338 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Explores the development of Chinese thought, highlighting its concern with questions of coherence. Providing a bracing expansion of horizons, this book displays the unsuspected range of human thinking on the most basic categories of experience. The way in which early Chinese thinkers approached concepts such as one and many, sameness and difference, self and other, and internal and external stand in stark contrast to the way parallel concepts entrenched in much of modern thinking developed in Greek and European thought. Brook Ziporyn traces the distinctive and surprising philosophical journeys found in the works of the formative Confucian and Daoist thinkers back to a prevailing set of assumptions that tends to see questions of identity, value, and knowledgethe subject matter of ontology, ethics, and epistemology in other traditionsas all ultimately relating to questions about coherence in one form or another. Mere awareness of how many different ways human beings can think and have thought about these categories is itself a game changer for our own attitudes toward what is thinkable for us. The actual inhabitation and mastery of these alternative modes of thinking is an even greater adventure in intellectual and experiential expansion.

It is a huge deal and a remarkable metamorphosis that unfolds before all and sundry. People have arrived at a point in time and space when the pretense no longer burdens them to be someone they were never meant to be. That they have reached a stage where they no more require to sacrifice the anguish and suffering that come with being incarnated at this physical juncture of existence. The price has to be paid. Within the human fraternity, an incredible phenomenon is taking place. The misery and pain have been a constant threat. The concept of micro family is now coming to an end. The incarnation of self-judgment - the divine one of all time - into the very physical boundary is finally starting to occur. The Law of Divine Oneness is here. What a fantastic find! What a glorious splendor! What a spectacular event that is just getting started and is already showering down on humanity! The all-powerful divine oneness is now entering the world. The excellent resistance of incarnation itself is dominating the universe. The sheer enormity and uniqueness of the actual incarnation or manifestation can no longer keep the forces of light and affection from discovering reality. Eventually, the journey of the human body to develop into what it was meant for has began. The numerous untiring and freely abundant energies of the living bodies are getting exposed. It comprises physical and mental involvement nurturing and fostering the enormous task that is finally coming to fruition. The divine oneness of all time is now well-equipped to initiate the entire ethics into the vessels that have been created specifically for this purpose.

Book The Unity of Oneness and Plurality in Plato s Theaetetus

Download or read book The Unity of Oneness and Plurality in Plato s Theaetetus written by Daniel Bloom and published by Lexington Books. This book was released on 2015-07-16 with total page 129 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Unity of Oneness and Plurality in Plato's Theaetetus offers a reading of the Theaetetus that shows how the characters’ failure to give an acceptable account (i.e a logos) of knowledge is really a success; the failure being a necessary result of the dialogue’s implicit proof that there can never be a complete logos of knowledge. The proof of the incompatibility of knowledge and logos rests on the recognition that knowledge is always of what is, and hence is always of what is one, while logos is inherently multiple. Thus, any attempt to give a logos of what is known amounts to turning what is one into something multiple, and hence, that which is expressed by any logos must be other than that which is known. In this way The Unity of Oneness and Plurality in Plato's Theaetetus provides its readers with developed sketches of both a Platonic epistemology, and a Platonic ontology. An account of the incompleteness of all accounts is, obviously, a very slippery undertaking. Plato's mastery of his craft is on full display in the dialogue. Besides offering a reading of Plato's epistemology and ontology, The Unity of Oneness and Plurality in Plato's Theaetetus investigates the insights and difficulties that arise from a close reading of the dialogue through a sustained analysis that mirrors the movement of the dialogue, offering a commentary on each of the primary sections, and showing how these sections fit together to supply an engaged reader with a unified whole.

  • Author : Jessy Salamone
  • Publisher : Page Publishing Inc

Download or read book Law of Oneness written by Jessy Salamone and published by Page Publishing Inc. This book was released on 2017-05-01 with total page 265 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Law of Oneness is the program the ancients have intended for us to use for millennia. It’s a way of looking at reality to the way things work in our universe, not how things are played out on our current delusion. The ancients have wanted us all to unlock our potential to grow in consciousness. The Law of Oneness tells us how reality works in all our perception to recognize and break free from all our own potentials and activate our bliss to the reality of oneness. The one reality that has the power to undermine all other realities. From behind bars to beyond the stars — that's how far Jessy Salamone had to go in his personal growth and spiritual awakening to make the true nature of reality understandable for us all. With "Law of Oneness," which he started writing while serving time for drug-related offenses, Jessy succeeds in turning a complicated topic into a narrative that is reader-friendly and engaging. As he explains it, the Law of Oneness is "a universal formula or equation that works in all things and is the ultimate master key to take us to Source." The components of that formula include transcending society-programmed thinking, overcoming insecurities that cause low self-esteem, freeing ourselves from the limits of ego, finding the courage to go forward despite fear or disapproval, identifying our purpose in life, and recognizing that love is the glue holding everything together. Of course, there's much, much more in "Law of Oneness" to experience and enjoy. I recommend you give it a read. Under its influence, your friends, your family, and ultimately your higher self will thank you. -- David L. Gaskill, editor/reviewer

Book The Oneness Hypothesis

Download or read book The Oneness Hypothesis written by Philip J. Ivanhoe and published by Columbia University Press. This book was released on 2018-06-26 with total page 487 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The idea that the self is inextricably intertwined with the rest of the world—the “oneness hypothesis”—can be found in many of the world’s philosophical and religious traditions. Oneness provides ways to imagine and achieve a more expansive conception of the self as fundamentally connected with other people, creatures, and things. Such views present profound challenges to Western hyperindividualism and its excessive concern with self-interest and tendency toward self-centered behavior. This anthology presents a wide-ranging, interdisciplinary exploration of the nature and implications of the oneness hypothesis. While fundamentally inspired by East and South Asian traditions, in which such a view is often critical to their philosophical approach, this collection also draws upon religious studies, psychology, and Western philosophy, as well as sociology, evolutionary theory, and cognitive neuroscience. Contributors trace the oneness hypothesis through the works of East Asian and Western schools, including Confucianism, Mohism, Daoism, Buddhism, and Platonism and such thinkers as Zhuangzi, Kant, James, and Dewey. They intervene in debates over ethics, cultural difference, identity, group solidarity, and the positive and negative implications of metaphors of organic unity. Challenging dominant views that presume that the proper scope of the mind stops at the boundaries of skin and skull, The Oneness Hypothesis shows that a more relational conception of the self is not only consistent with contemporary science but has the potential to lead to greater happiness and well-being for both individuals and the larger wholes of which they are parts.

Book The Magic of Quantum Living

Download or read book The Magic of Quantum Living written by Edwin Nel and published by Archway Publishing. This book was released on 2014-08-07 with total page 209 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Magic of Quantum Living is a revolutionizing new theory, bringing together quantum physics, spirituality, and religion in order to explain God and the interconnectedness of the entire universe. This new quantum theory is an inspirational message explaining the entanglement and interrelation of all things and people as part of one big collective consciousness: the oneness principle. This theory highlights the way our thoughts, words, and actions, which are based on our beliefs, create our reality within a greater collective reality. Practical examples and explanations assist the reader in examining their own beliefs and behaviours, with the aim to foster and cultivate a greater respect and love for all of life, humanity, and our planet.
